Keith went on his phone and started looking for soul rifts they can clear at their level. Since all three of them were Soul Wanderers.
"Hey guys I found a suitable soul rift for our growth," Keith said as he gave the other two his phone. After reading the information, they both glared at Keith as if he was insane.
"Keith this Soul Rift says that the required level to clear is Soul Soldier Level 5!!" Suguru shouted in anger.
"I know you want to grow stronger as fast as you can but clearing this Soul Rift will be dangerous even for us. I think we should at least try to clear a low-level soul rift," Kayla said to him, hoping that he will change his mind.
"Did we grow stronger in our past life by playing it safe?" Keith asked and his friends were silent after that question. "Plus, since when have Celestials backed down from a challenge?"
All three of them got into taxi and told the taxi driver to drive them to the Soul Rift known as frozen fang. The taxi reached their destination in less than three seconds. They gave the driver his money and boarded off the vehicle.
They walked towards a building with a giant steel red door. The guards asked them for the reason that they were coming here and they answered by saying that they were newly awakened and the guards opened the giant steel door for them.
Once they entered inside the building, they saw several guards clad in red armor. Suguru couldn't help but wonder why were there so many guards and why they built such an impenetrable fortress around a Soul Rift. He glanced at Keith hoping to get some answer.
Keith sensing Suguru's gaze decided to tell him. "They built this building around a Soul Rift in case of a soul rift break so that the soul beasts won't escape and the guards are here to kill the soul beasts that escape the soul rift. They do this to minimize the damage that happens to the city and the loss of life."
"That makes sense. I guess the people in this universe are smarter than the people in our universe," Suguru murmured.
The gang continued to walk forward until they saw the rift. The rift was beautiful light blue color. Soul Rifts usually have a blue color indicating that there isn't going to be a soul rift break. Orange means that there is slight chance of a soul rift break in a few days. Red means that there is going to be a soul rift break in two hours if it isn't cleared in that amount of time. Purple just means that there is going to be soul rift break in less than 1 minute.
"Is everybody ready?" Keith said with a smile on his face.
"Hell yeah," Kayla answered.
"Let's just get this over with. I can't wait for my afternoon nap," Merlin said with a yawn.
They all touched the rift and were instantly teleported inside the rift. They got teleported to an icy forest. Tall trees, beautiful white flowers, the ground was painted white with snow and the sky was cloudy. They took a moment to enjoy scenery before they heard a howl in the distance.
All of them readied their weapons and ran towards the direction of the howl. After a few minutes of running, they finally found the soul beast. The soul beast was two-meter-tall wolf covered in white fur. The wolf was sleeping until it felt the presence of three people.
It jumped forward and attacked the nearest person and that was none other than Keith. Keith couldn't help but smirk. "Everything is going according to plan," he murmured to himself.
Merlin jumped down from the tree and swung his scythe and decapitated the wolf's head.

Keith went to the wolf and skinning it removing it fur. When he was browsing online, he saw that the fur of this particular wolf cost a good amount of money. He chose the chose this Soul Rift because of the resources they would acquire from this soul rift would fetch them a good amount of money.
"Suguru, can you help me something?" he asked Suguru politely.
"What can I help you with?" he asked.
"May you please store this pelt in your shadow," he said as he threw the pelt towards Merlin who caught and put it in his shadow. His innate skill shadow manipulation allowed to use his shadow however he likes. He could even store objects in his shadow.
"Sure, but you'll owe me a fluffy cotton pillow," he said as he sat on the ground and drifted to sleep.
"How you able to sleep in a soul rift like this?" Keith asked with a bewildered expression on his face.
"Because I didn't get enough sleep," he answered nonchalantly.
"You slept for 11 hours," Kayla chimed in.
"Correction I slept for 11hours 30minutes and 55 seconds."
"That still a lot of time!" Kayla and Keith shouted.
"Both of you know that I sleep 20 hours a day, I thought you were my best friends," Suguru said.
"We know that you sleep 20 hours but is it that amount of sleep necessary and sleeping in the middle of a forest full of soul beasts is not ideal," Kayla said.
"I know that sleeping in a forest is not ideal but I can't help it," he said as he drifted back to sleep
"Suguru Merlin if you don't wake right this instant, you only get eight hours of sleep once we clear this Soul Rift," she said in cold tone which sent a shiver down Suguru's spine.
"You are kidding right?" Suguru asked nervously.
"Do you see me laughing," she said in slightly colder tone.
"You know what I don't feel sleepy anymore," Merlin said as he stood up and started doing some light exercises to show that he was energized.
