Keith looked at his status window and decided it was about time he used his unassigned stat points. He put 2 stat points into speed and one into strength. His body was covered in a faint blue glow for a moment and it disappeared after a few seconds.
Suguru decided to put 1 point in intelligence, one in strength and the last one in speed. Kayla put one point in perception and last two in speed. After the group was done assigning their stat points, they ventured deeper into the forest in search for more soul beasts.
Soon they found a pack of ten snow wolves. Nine of those wolves were Soul Wanderers Level 1 and one of the exuded an aura of a Soul Soldier Level 2. The soul beast snarled upon three individuals' arrival. Kayla jumped into a nearby tree and loaded three arrows into her bow and aimed at three wolves. She shot arrows at the wolf and propelled the speed using repulsion.
The arrows soared through the air and precisely hit the three wolves that were running towards Keith and Suguru precisely in their eyes. The arrows pierced through their eyes and because of the propulsion, the arrows reached their brains ultimately killing them.

Keith rushed towards three wolves as he unsheathed his sword. One wolf lunged at him raised its paws aiming to cut off the intruder's head with it claws but Keith quickly deflected the attack and used his other hand to punch the wolf in the head sending hurtling towards a tree. A wolf shot out five ice spikes at him which he was able to skillfully deflect without any difficulty.
He rushed toward the wolf that was still shooting sharp ice spikes which he was skillfully deflecting. Whilst he was deflecting, he used his talent Permanent Talent Mimicry and copied the talents of the snow wolf. He used one of the talents called Ice armor and his entire body was shrouded by a faint blue glow.
Now that he didn't need to constantly deflect the wolf's attacks. With a sudden burst of speed, he closed the distance between him and the wolf and he swung his sword, decapitating the wolf's head. He then shifted his gaze toward the last wolf and sliced it in half.

Three snow white wolves surrounded Merlin, each one them throwing a barrage of ice spike which Merlin was skillfully deflecting the attacks. He swung his scythe towards one of the wolves and impaled it in the head.
The two remaining wolves distanced themselves from him. One of wolf let out howl creating an ice clone of itself while the other wolf used Ice armor on itself, increasing its defense. The wolves lunged at him and threw a series of ice attacks which he was skillfully evading and deflecting their attacks.
After a few minutes he was able to destroy the ice clone and beheaded the wolf that summoned the ice clone in a single fluid motion. The head of the wolf fell down to the ground with a thud that resounded in the area they were currently in.
He turned his gaze to the last wolf and swung his scythe vertically, slicing the wolf into two. He took a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped off the blood from the blade of his scythe.
As he was wiping off the blood, the level 2 snow wolf lunged at him raising it paw and was about to cut him in half but Keith stopped it by kicking it in the stomach sending hurtling towards a nearby tree.
The wolf looked at Keith with anger filled eyes and snarled at him angrily. The angry wolf shot out 10 ice lances at him. Keith could only deflect the attacks since he was not fast enough to dodge the wolf's attacks. The wolf dashed towards his side and raised it paws and sent it crushing down at him like a hammer.
Sensing the impending danger, he sidestepped the attack and caught one of the ice lances and threw it into the wolf's eye. The wolf yelped in pain. The wolf activated in its ultimate skill which covered it whole body in ice-like armor and extended made its claws longer and sharper. One sharp horn protruded from its forehead.
The wolf lunged at him and raised it paws and slashed his chest vertically in a fluid motion. The wolf let out a loud deafening howl that pushed Keith a few meters away from the wolf. The wolf bolted towards him in a sudden burst of speed and unleashed of flurry of claw strikes.
Keith was now on the defensive and only dodged and parried the wolf's attacks. The wolf tried slashing him horizontally but he dodged just in the nick of time by doing a backflip. After doing the backflip he used his talent Mimicry and charged at the wolf. The wolf shot five ice spikes at him and he dodged them barely.
The wolf ran at him and impaled him in the heart. The wolf was happy as it felt the human's life fade away. His heartbeat slowed until it stopped and he stopped breathing. The wolf felt a sudden chill run down. The wolf removed its horn from Keith's chest and started looking around for any danger but there was none.
It brought it gaze towards Keith's friend and saw that they were oddly too calm as if they friend didn't die. It turned it gaze towards Keith's location and saw that he was nowhere to be found. The wolf tried sensing his presence but it couldn't sense him as if he had just disappeared from existence.
Suddenly Keith appeared and swung his sword, before the wolf could react its head was decapitated in a single fluid motion.
