Keith fought a lot of wolf packs and annihilated them without any difficulty. He had raised his kill count to 200 wolves. He had also gained a sub title called wolf hunter. This title increased his attacks against wolf-like creature by 25%.
He sat on top of a mountain of corpses and muttered, "Status."

Keith was thinking on how he should spend his stat points. The defense stat and perception stat were lacking compared to the others. By investing some points in defense, soul beasts won't tear through his skin and by increasing his perception stat would increase his awareness making it easier for him to spot enemies and soul beasts.
He put 2 points into defense and two into perception. He decided to keep the last two in case of emergencies. A blue light covered his body for a few seconds before it vanished completely. His senses became sharper, his sense of smell was stronger than a bloodhound's sense of smell, his vision was more powerful than a hawk's eyesight and his sense of hearing was now that of a bat.
With his high perception, he sensed a pack of twenty-five wolves to the north and bolted towards that location. He blurred past the trees and arrived at the location in less than a few seconds. The wolves all rushed at him to attack.
One wolf lunged at him and he quickly decapitated its head. Two more rushed in and one of them used Soul essence to enhance its body powers while the other unleashed a barrage of ice lances at him. He dodged the ice lances as he slashed at the other wolf's neck but his attack only put a scratch on its neck because the other wolf used a talent to further reinforce its comrade's defense.
One more wolf came in to join the fight. It extended its front claws and slashed his chest. In a split second, Keith was able to activate ice armor and the attack from the wolf just bounced right of him. As he tried to decapitate the wolf, five ice lances were shot right at him. He dodged the attacks gracefully and lunged towards the wolf that was using ice lances.
He decided to deal it with it first because it was helping the other wolves when it could and made sure that he wouldn't kill its fellow wolves by either forcing him to dodge its attacks and increasing its fellow wolves' defenses. This wolf was like a support mage in video games so Keith realized that he had to kill it first to make killing the others' easier for him.
He infused soul essence into his legs and with a sudden burst of speed he was at the wolf side and decapitated its head in a single fluid motion. After killing the wolf, the other wolves howled requesting for backup.
The Alpha wolf sent two mage type wolf and 5 other damage dealers. The all attacked him, the mage-type wolves throwing a barrage of ice talents at him. They threw lances, spikes and ice balls whilst also strengthening their fellow kin.
Keith even though outnumbered was overpowering the wolves. He swung his sword and decapitated a wolf's head whilst dodging the ice attacks and claw strikes at the same time. He rushed towards one of the mage-type wolves and swung his sword vertically slicing it in half.
The wolves that he was fighting lunged at him with their mouth wide open hoping to bite him but as soon as they got close, he disappeared from their line of vision. His scent, presence, bloodlust and killing intent disappeared as if he had never existed. The alpha howled telling each one of his wolves to split up and look for him.
Things were going according to his plan. His plan was to separate the wolves so hunting them down one by one. Fighting a pack of twenty-five all at once would prove to be difficult for him since the wolves would outnumber him and if he fought them for a long period, he would lose a lot of stamina so he decided to use the clan art: soul disappearance to trick the wolves.
A group of three wolves ventured deeper in the forest looking for Keith but they found nothing. As they turned back and were about inform their alpha, their heads got severed from their bodies by Keith's katana. He went from group to group each one falling lifelessly to the ground.
None could escape his grasp no matter if they heightened their senses or used as many defense talents as they could. Some even tried attacking him even though they didn't know where he was or if he was even there to begin with. It was like being hunted down by an enemy you couldn't perceive no matter how you tried.
[Killing Level 3 Soul Soldier snow wolves will no longer grant you any soul crystals] the system informed him. Keith didn't have a look of disappointment on his face because he was kind of expecting it to happen.
The reason he was no longer be granted soul crystals was because after reaching Level 4 Soul Soldier killing a monster below your level no longer grants you soul crystal. So, the only way to get more soul crystals is by either slaying a soul beast of the same level or higher.
"Twenty-four down, one more to go," he said as he dashed to location of the alpha, his speed as fast as cheetah's.
He found the alpha wolf lazily sleeping on top of a giant rock. The wolf's eyes fluttered open and upon laying its eyes on Keith, it attacked him without any hesitation.
