Keith looked as his current stats and decided to use a few of his extra stat points. He decided to put 3 into his Strength, 2 in defense, 2 in perception and one in intelligence. His body was shrouded by a blue ethereal glow once again and he could fell changes in his body. His five senses were sharper, his body felt lighter and his skin became harder and he could sense the Soul Essence in the air and his mind became sharper.
Keith decided to go and look for his friends and tell them that he had slain the soul rift boss but before that, he went to body of the soul rift boss and removed its pure white fur and removed one of its canines. When he was researching online, he found out that the tooth of the soul rift could be used to make a dagger so he planned to go a blacksmith and request a dagger be made for him.
After collecting everything he needed, he dashed towards a certain direction. He used his soul essence to increase to increase his speed whilst using Flash step. After a while, he reached his location and saw a man with white hair lazily on top a mountain of corpses. The man eyes fluttered open and laid his eyes on the man who had just arrived.
"I guess you came here to tell me that you killed the boss," Suguru whilst he was yawning.
"How did you know?" Keith asked.
"The pelt and that abnormally large tooth," Suguru answered as he stood up and hopped down from the mountain of corpses and said, "let's go find that battle maniac and leave this place."
The both of them dashed through the forest until they found her sitting on top of a mountain of five-hundred corpses. Her whole body was covered in the blue blood of the dead wolves and was littered with scars all over her body that began to heal.
"I guess I lost the bet," Keith said in a somber tone. He had counted how many wolves that Merlin had killed and they numbered up to three hundred which was higher than his by a hundred. He was hoping that Kayla would at least kill less wolves so that he doesn't lose his money but it seems like Kayla let her battle maniac side loose and killed a lot of wolves.
Kayla looked down at Keith and saw the distressed look on his face and figured that he must have killed less wolves than her and Merlin. She smirked and said, "I will be expecting my money in cash."
"Sure," he said dejectedly. "I should never bet again," he thought to himself as he started recalling some memories where he would bet some of his money and he would always lose the bet even if he was the one who initiated the bet or even if he initiated a bet, he knew he could win.
"Kayla we should get of this place since I already killed the Rift boss," Keith said in an urgent tone.
"Alright," she said as she jumped down from the pile of corpses. The trio dashed through the forest at lightning-fast speed. After running for a few minutes, they finally reached the soul rift that will send them back home but a horde of level 4 wolves was waiting for them. In Soul once you defeat the boss, you are given two hours to escape the soul rift that sends them back home closes. If they don't go through the soul rifts before it closes, their soul and body will be transformed into a soul beast. So, soul Awakeners had to get to the soul rift in time but the soul rifts won't make it easy for them. They will be horde of monsters guarding the soul rift. This surprised the trio because soul rifts in their universe were never guarded by a horde of soul beasts.
Keith drew his sword and Kayla put an arrow in her bow ready to attack but Suguru stopped them. "Let me deal with these mutts," he said with a wide grin plastered across his face.
"Soul summon," As he said those words, his shadow became broader and longer. Twenty shadowy wolves with bright blue eyes emerged from his shadow. Each one of the wolves gave of a menacing and eerie aura that sent shivers down the spines of the wolves guarding the soul rift. "Attack my minions," he said in commanding tone.
The shadow wolves took a formation with the damaged dealers in the front and the casters at the back. They damage dealers lunged forward and attacked the other wolves using their claws to slash them and use their tails as whips. The casters used all of their talents to attack and help the wolves on the front lines. Ice spike, ice lance lances rained down on their enemies.
The wolves on the other side were dropping like flies. They tried to retaliate by using all of the talents they had in their arsenal and the wolves on the front lines tried their best to attack the shadow wolves but no matter how many they killed, the shadow wolves would always regenerate and keep on attacking them.

Each time his shadow wolves perished it would take ten soul essence to regenerate. Even though his wolves were doing a good job in taking down the horde, it would only be a matter of time before he ran out of soul essence. "Time to use my trump card," he thought to himself as he raised his hand and said, "Soul summon." The nun that was in charge of their awakening ceremony emerged from his shadow.
"Use Omega Fireball," he ordered her and she did as her master asked. She outstretched both of her hands and a giant dark orange magic circle appeared and from it a fireball that was 50m in diameter. The scorching hot flames of the fireball melted the snow around them and the air around them became hotter. She aimed the fireball at the horde of snow wolves and shot it with pinpoint accuracy. The fireball shot forward at the horde of snow wolves with incredible speed and accuracy.
When the fireball reached the middle of the horde, it exploded and killed all the snow wolves that were left.

The three of them went to the rift exit and touched it at the same time and exited the soul rift Frozen Fang.
