Oliver stopped the monster and countered with his martial arts. Punching and kicking the monster until it started bleeding from its nose and mouth. While the monster was getting pushed back, Oliver found a chance to break the monster's arm, leaving it limp and dangling.
Catching his breath, Oliver analyzed the monster. Thinking only one more clean punch would end the monster for good. Oliver rushed to deliver the final blow until the monster smirked, its once broken arm was now fixed and stopped Oliver's punch. The monster's nose and mouth stopped bleeding and its face looked good as new. It also started fighting with more ferocity and energy than before.
Everyone realised this monster also had some sort of super power, which helped it regenerate its wounds quickly. The monster was stronger than expected and now flipped the fight in its favor. The only thing Oliver could do was catch its punches, but he was still getting pushed back.
"Does anyone else have some sort of super power, I really need some help right now!" Oliver pleaded, hoping he wasn't the only one that got this "record."
Two people stopped retreating and with determined faces rushed towards Oliver and the monster. One of them stopped and raised his hands in front of him, like he was pushing something. Then fire started bursting out of his hand like a flamethrower right towards the monster's face.
While the monster was dealing with the fire to his face and Oliver, the other soldier started to swing an imaginary bat at the monster as well. There was nothing in his hands until a blue light materialized a 3 foot sword in his hands.
With all three of them and their super powers, they were able to fight against the monster. While the monster was blinded and distracted by the flames, Oliver and the other soldier knocked the monster down by taking out its leg. Oliver sweep kicked one leg and the other soldier hit the other leg. While on the ground, the monster was getting punched, slashed, and burned. It couldn't do anything 1 vs 3.
Before long, the monster stopped moving and gave out its last breath. But this didn't stop the soldiers from attacking. They remembered the powerful regeneration the monster had and they didn't want to take any chances.
After a minute of attacking they checked on the monster, it still wasn't breathing.
"YEAAAAHHHH!!!" All the surrounding soldiers and Oliver yelled. Celebrating the fact the monster was actually dead.
The monster was a symbol of fear, no modern firearm or even tank could hurt it or even make it use its regeneration. Until soldiers with super powers teamed up and defeated something not even an army could defeat.
"Captain Star, and privates, I think some honors will be awarded don't you think." The major general rushed towards the heroes to thank them.
"Hopefully, I hope it ends with just this." Oliver wanted this to be over. He looked behind him, at the black hole. "The hole hasn't closed up yet. That's the only thing I'm worried about."
All the soldiers and officers stopped celebrating after hearing Oliver, everyone then turned towards the black hole.
"Everyone back to your stations. Even if we do no damage, we can still distract them!" The general yelled.
Many soldiers wanted to leave after the slaughter the monster caused, but with the 3 heroes here, their hopes were reinvigorated. All the soldiers got back to their positions and surrounded the black hole. The three heroes were at the vanguard, the closest to the black hole, ready for more monsters to pop out.
While everyone was surrounding the black hole, the Major General was receiving communications from various people across the city and country.
"There are giant bipedal wolves attacking…"
"Please help, they are bur…"
"We need more reinforcements at…"
The General put down the radio and looked down in despair and mumbled, "We're doomed."
Back with Oliver, all the soldiers finished preparing and loaded their weapons until the black hole expanded. Growing two times its size it finally stopped. Green monsters started walking out. Like an army, more and more kept popping out.
"Hopefully this upgrade helps" Oliver whispered, and then glanced at the window that popped up.
