After leaving Alice's dorm, Vander headed towards his dorm all the way on the other side of the city. The long trek there took six hours, arriving at the dorm gates around 7:00 PM.
"Welcome to the Male 1st year Beta Dorms. My name is Alex, I will be your dorm manager. Can I see your ID?" The dorm manager greeted Vander politely, unlike the female dorm manager.
Showing his ID, the dorm manager held up his clipboard. He started turning pages trying to find Vanders name.
"Vander Hall. You'll be on floor 2, room 38. Here's your key card. You'll be able to see the dorm rules inside your dorm. If you have any questions let me know."
"Thank you." Vander said his farewell and went inside the dorm.
Going up to the second floor, he found his room. Using his key card to unlock the door, he entered. Inside the room were two bunk beds, one on each side of the room. On each corner of the room, there was one desk and drawer. Next to the desks on the far end of the room were windows.
Both the top bunks were already occupied, so Vander chose the left bottom bunk.
"Hello my name is Vander, nice to meet you." Vander greeted the person on the top bunk.
He had red hair and glasses. Looked really skinny, but still had more muscle than Vander.
"Sup, I'm Klint." He responded back.
"Which desk and drawer did you choose?" Vander asked Klint.
"The one closer to the door." Klint pointed at the desk and drawer towards his feet.
Vander started to unpack his luggage and stored them in his drawer. While putting his clothes and items away, he noticed there was a paper on his desk:
Opening ceremony will be held at the 1st year main hall at 8AM opening day
-Dorm rules-
1. Curfew at 10:00 PM
2. Quiet Time 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
3. Keep your room clean
4. No fighting
5. No guests allowed, unless permitted by dorm manager
6. No smoking
7. No drugs
Finishing up unpacking, Vander went up to the other person in the room to introduce himself.
"Hello nice to meet you, I'm Vander."
"Nice to meet you too. My name is Marcus, but you can just call me Mark." Mark had dark brown hair and a full grown beard. He was also short, making him look like a dwarf.
Getting down from the top bunk, he gave Vander a handshake, a proper greeting.
After greeting Mark, Vander took some clothes and went towards the public bathrooms to take a shower. After his shower, Vander went back to his room and laid down on his bottom bunk. Taking out his phone he started texting.
How was are the dorms - V
It's fine, I already made some friends. - A
Is it ok for us to be texting tho. The phone bill will be high - A

After texting Alice, Vander put his phone under his pillow and went to sleep. He needed to wake up early tomorrow.

Waking up at 5 in the morning, Vander got ready to meet up with Alice. Both his roommates were still in bed sleeping. Not wanting to disturb them, he opened the door slowly and walked out.
The three hour walk tired Vander, but seeing Alice already at the student center revitalized him.
"Where should we go first Alice?"
"Let's go see the classrooms."
Heading over to the first years classrooms, they stopped by a breakfast place. After their breakfast, they saw other students heading towards the 1st year classrooms. Lots of other first years started to explore too.
Arriving at the 1st year district, Vander and Alice saw many buildings. They wanted to visit all the buildings, but they started with the student hall building. Since this is where the opening ceremony will take place, they wanted to scout things out.
The student hall was gigantic, mainly made of marble. It had thick marble columns holding the roof up. The hall had plenty of room to hold all the first years. In the back of the hall was a stage.
After the student hall, they visited the classrooms. There were tens of classroom buildings only for first years.
Because all the walking and exploring all the first year buildings, hours went by. It was already getting late, so Vander and Alice went to eat dinner.
While eating, they made plans for the next day. They wanted to explore the regular city.
After their food they split up and headed towards their respective dorms. Getting back to his dorm, it was already past 8 PM.

The next day Vander and Alice met at the same time in the student center. Leaving the university's premises, they headed towards a karaoke bar.
Before classes actually started, Vander and Alice wanted to have some fun. They sang songs for hours and ate some food. Vander figured out he couldn't sing at all. While Alice was the best singer he ever heard, she had the voice of an angel.
After karaoke, they visited the city mall. They were checking out all the stores while window shopping.
While passing by an arcade, Vander dragged Alice inside. They started playing arcade games together. In the end, Vander won a teddy bear for Alice from a claw machine.
Exiting the arcade, Alice pulled Vander to the movie theater.
"Let's go watch a movie together. I want to experience my first movie with you."
Being in a struggling household with only one parent, Alice didn't go out too much. Even though they were childhood friends, Alice only hung out with Vander in school or at the bakery. When both turned 15 they started working at the bakery together. Alice wanted to work to help her mom, and Vander joined to help his family business.
Vander bought tickets to a romance movie that Alice wanted to see. As a new couple, this had to be a tradition.
They bought popcorn because Vander wanted Alice to get the full experience of the movie theater. There were only a couple of others scattered across the room, but Vander and Alice didn't even pay attention to them. Getting to their seats, they sat side by side. They softly leaned on each other waiting for the movie to start.
The room then dimmed and the movie began. The couple were lost in their own world, engrossed in the movie and by the partner by their side.
When the movie was about to end, they shared a moment. They looked at each other at the same time and leaned in closer. They shared their first kiss while the movie screen casted a hue on their faces.
They both whispered in each other's ear.
"I love you."
"I love you too, Vander."
