A few stubborn hairs were kissing her cheeks but she didn't bother setting them.
"Now, you are good to go."
They reached the Alpha's room and Aaron was already standing there with Ereza.
Alexander, who was hiding behind a pillar waiting for everyone to join in so that he could show himself, let out a breath of relief.
He didn't want to get teased by the Alpha. Hence, he was waiting for everyone to join in. Had it been him alone with the Alpha, he was afraid that the Alpha won't hesitate to tease the crap out of him.
As strict as Nicolas was, he could be just as mischievous when he wants to and that side of him was scarier than his angry side.
He would tease someone untill their cheeks become brighter than a tomato.
"Everyone is already here. I won't tease you now. You are in the safe zone. Come out from behind of the pillar now," Nicolas said looking at the sky.
Alexander came out from his not-so-secret-hidden place with a pout on his face.
"I made sure that no one noticed that I was present there. Still, you found out just like this. That's unfair," he sulked.
"Who said that I knew you were hidden there? I just threw a random guess and it landed on the correct ground. The only place someone can hide on the entire floor is behind the pillars. You were just stupid enough to show yourself," Nicolas said with a blank face.
"You are so clever. No wonder you have so many achievements under your name," Alexander said with an impressed look.
"Life lesson number five learned from the Alpha: If you manage to tell a lie with great confidence then everyone will be forced to believe in your lie. Just like how if you tell something will confidence, everyone is going to feel your confidence only," Alexander chirped.
"What are the other four rules?"
"That's for me to know and you, never find out."
"Let's get going," he said looking at Amara whose eyes widened.
Everyone nodded their heads before starting to walk.
They reached the main door.
"I got a few dresses yesterday, do you want to see them? If you like them then I can lend you a few. I am sure that you are going to love them either way," Ereza excitedly said.
"I would love to see them. It doesn't matter whether I like them or not, at least, I would get some more sense about fashion. You honestly have an amazing fashion sense. I can't help but feel like praising you everytime," Amara said with a smile and Ereza returned her smile.
Her motive was successful. She wanted to impress Amara with her fashion sense and she succeed.
"I got a new book a few days ago. It's about nature and has lots of beautiful pictures, taken from all over the world. If you see it then I am sure that you won't be able to control yourself just like me. If you want then I can give you it," Aaron said and she excitedly nodded her head.
"Obviously! I would love to see that book. Can you give me it after we go back home?" Amara asked and Aaron nodded his head.
After getting officially introduced as a newly added pack member, Amara was given her own house just like the others.
Her home wasn't too big. It was just perfect for her and it has such an homey vibe to it. She has decorated it with lots of different plants.
Anyone who enters in her room would instantly know that she loves flowers and plants the most in this entire world.
Surprisingly, Aaron was just another nature lover. His love for nature was just as big as hers.
If he could fill the entire world with nature, he would have done that without a second thought but he wasn't as expressive as Amara.
He would admire an view and move on but Amara would stand there for minutes, drinking the entire view with her eyes until there's nothing left for her to see.
"Bro, everyone is so busy trying to get your attention. I don't think that I will get your attention but no harm in trying, would you watch a movie with all of us tonight after going back to home?" Alexander asked.
"All of us as in?"
"All of us as in you, me, Aurora, Aaron, Ereza and Nicolas. You all are going to join us, right?" He gave them puppy eyes.
"Another reminder: even though we will look cute together because of our height difference. Our neck is not going to love this whole thing. I would always have to tilt my head to directly look into his eyes and he would always have to bend down," Alora thought.
Nicolas looked at Amara who was looking at Alexander with excited eyes.
Alexander was returning her gaze with the same effort.
Nicolas shooked his head with a small smile plastered on his face.
"Sometimes I think, Alex should have been her brother instead of mine. But they have that sibling-like bonding, so it's kind of the same, " he thought.
It was only the six of them present there.
They started walking.
Amara awed at the same clear river and road.
The banana pads were looking exactly like the previous day.
Raindrops were again sitting on the of them like proud crystals.
The river looked fuller than before. It must have been because of the rain.
The road was a little muddy and slippery but they managed to walk on it.
"The water is so clear that we can see what's inside. It's really beautiful," Aaron said observing the river.
A few fishes were swimming to their heart's content. It was super cute to look at.
Their tiny tails taking them go so far!
"Bro, the banana pads look like a gate. It's actually so cool," Alexander said with an awed look.
Aurora was looking everywhere with admiration in her eyes.
Amara was confused by their reaction.
"Is it the first time you guys came here?"
Alexander chuckled followed by Ereza and Aaron.
"It's definitely the first time we are walking there this calmly. We usually rush towards it and go there in the summer. The breeze never seemed as pleasing as today's one," the Aaron said with a soft smile.
"We never thought to walk the whole way there. Maybe if we had thought about this, we could have witnessed this blissful feeling before," Ereza said breathing in the fresh air.
It was just right after dawn. The atmosphere was also slightly cold due to the rain.
The perfect atmosphere for going out, had the roads not been muddy.
"Once I wanted to go there by walking but my father refused by saying that I would get tired because of the sunlight and won't have any energy left for hunting," Alexander said scratching the back of his neck.
"So you are not a wolf yet?" Amara asked with a surprised look and Alexander shook his head.
She awed at his reaction.
"It's my first time going there. I have never been there, although I heard about it before," Aurora said in a small voice.
Everyone looked at Nicolas, waiting for him to say something.
"I have been there more times than you all combined and I often go there walking," he shrugged off his shoulder after finishing his sentence.
Alexander had a look of betrayal on his face.
