The entire evening, Amara was busy enjoying herself. She ignored the judgemental eyes of the pack members, she was focusing on herself.
People were going to judge us no matter what we do. We can be the world's most perfect human and they will end up pulling out something that's wrong with us.
They will always try to find ways to make us insecure and Amara refused to cage herself in others opinion anymore. She was now a free bird, she was the owner of her own moods and wishes.
At one point, everyone was dancing and Nicolas asked for her hand in dancing.
"I might not be a perfect dancer but I promise that I am haIf not as bad. Would you give me the pleasure of dancing with you?" He asked, forwarding his hand for her to take.
She looked at him with an amused look before nodding her head and putting her hands on his.
"Gladly," she said and they danced and danced until their feet started hurting.
Amara was introduced to Nicolas's cousins and they became good friends almost instantly. Especially Amara and Alexander.
He was watching a side of her that he hasn't seen before, the carefree and mischievous Amara.
One day became two and in a blink of eye, it was already a week after she was introduced to the other pack members and also the day, they are going to hunting.
"Alpha, I have a request for you. My friend, Aurora who is also a omega of the pack is currently on a vacation. If you give permission, can she come along with us?" Amara said in a pleading tone.
"Brother, I am ready to take care of her. You don't need to worry about how she will go there. I am going to take her full responsibility," Alexander said, joining in.
An amused look crossed Nicolas's face.
"What if I say no?"
"You are the greatest of all. Kindly accept my request. I would be forever indebted to you," Amara started buttering him.
"S*it, I have never been such an ass kisser but this guy always finds ways to bring out uncovered sides of me that were even unknown to me," Amara thought.
"You are the kindest brother I have. You definitely won't crush our little hearts under your feet," Alexander dramatically said.
"I will allow you to bring her along but at a condition -"
"Condition accepted," Alexander and Amara both shouted together.
Nicolas raised his left eyebrow.
"I haven't even said what the condition is."
"You don't have to. We accept your condition," Amara chirped in.
"But you still need to hear my condition first. You both must behave yourselves there and make sure that you don't get yourselves into trouble."
Amara and Alexander nodded their heads in sync.
In such an small time, they have made an bond which is unbreakable.
"You shall go and ask her to get dressed for the hunting."
Amara happily nodded her head before going back to bring Aurora along with her.
Alexander went near Nicolas as soon as she left.
"Bro, we usually go hunting in the summer season when the sun is good outside as well as the weather. But now is the rainy season. The ground is muddy and slippery. We definitely won't find good prey and the chances of us getting into an accident are high," he paused.
"Then why are we going to hunt today?"
He smirked after saying this.
"It's not because of what you think it is! We are going hunting today because the river is clear and nature is more lively nowadays. It will be good for our mental health," Nicolas said clearing his throat.
"Are you sure? Or it is because some certain brown-eyed beauty wants to see the waterfall?" He said with a teasing look.
"I haven't ask you why you want to take Aurora with us yet. Could you tell me why?" Nicolas asked with a scary smile plastered on his face.
Alexander gulped down his own saliva and started praying for his safety.
"I just remembered that I left something in my room. I will go and bring it back with me in a second. See you later, bro," Alexander cheekily smiled before running out of the room to save his life.
Nicolas shooked his head with an amused smile plastered on his face.
He wasn't the most expressive person but he loved his family members to death.
"I am surrounded by crazy people.."
"Aurora get ready. The Alpha has agreed to bring you along with us," Amara cheerfully said.
"But how?"
"We, I mean Alexander and I, agreed not to cause him any trouble or get ourselves into trouble. Then he agreed," she smiled happily.
"Oh, that was easy. Seems like the Alpha has feelings for you," Aurora said with a teasing look plastered on her face.
"Don't be ridiculous. He definitely doesn't have any feelings for me. Now get ready fast. We need to leave as soon as possible."
Aurora nodded her head before looking at her appearance.
"I think that I look good."
"Of course, you do. But what I meant by getting ready is comb your hair and tie it down. It's windy out there. You will definitely have trouble with your hair," Amara said giving Aurora a comb.
In such an short span of time, Amara and Aurora has also made an sister like bond. Amara would take care of Aurora like an older sister and that includes helping her with her work as well.
"Are you a magician or something? How do you have a comb with yourself?"
"I already knew that the Alpha is going to agree and then you would need to go back to your room to find a comb. Hence, I kept one with me. Just in case, you know."
Aurora combed her hair and tied it down in a bun.
