Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Star Palace and the Gift

Location: Unknown

3rd POV

Feldway stood frozen, staring up at the massive, cyan-colored dragon before him. Just as he opened his mouth to speak, the dragon's deep, commanding voice cut him off.

"Well, that's probably a lot to take in, but now, come with me."

Before Feldway could protest, an unseen force compelled his body to move. In an instant, he found himself standing atop a grand mountain, the cold wind biting against his skin.

"Welcome to the Star Palace," Veldanava said, stepping forward. "This place exists outside your reality, completely separate from the Cardinal World."

Feldway turned, his gaze landing on a stunningly androgynous man with black hair speckled with white like the stars. His piercing blue eyes radiated authority, and black dragon horns protruded from his head, adding to his divine presence.

Feldway's POV

I took a moment to absorb the breathtaking view, but my focus quickly returned to the man standing before me. Something about him felt oddly familiar, like a memory lingering just beyond reach. After a few seconds of scrutiny, it finally clicked.

I smirked. "Hey, aren't you that overgrown lizard who claims to be a self-proclaimed R.O.B?"

I made sure to put extra emphasis on "lizard" just to get a reaction. Sure enough, his face twitched in irritation.

He crossed his arms. "Hey! I created you! Show some respect. Impressed that you recognized me so easily? I have a human form now. Since you're my first creation with an ego, I'll give you something amazing."

I raised an eyebrow. "By gift, what do you mea—"

Before I could finish my sentence, a sudden notification rang in my head.

"NOTICE: Individual Feldway has received intrinsic skill [Administrative Authority]."

Skill Abilities:

Law Manipulation – Grants the ability to alter the world's laws, whether magical or scientific.

Apotheosis – Allows transformation into the user's true form, limited only by race.

Space-Time Domination – Enables warping of space-time and teleportation anywhere.

Thought Communication – Facilitates telepathic communication across the world and beyond, depending on Magicule levels.

Analysis – Allows instant analysis of objects or opponents' abilities.

Thought Acceleration – Speeds up thought processing by a million times.

I stared blankly at the list before my brain finally caught up. This overgrown lizard had just handed me one of the most broken abilities I had ever seen.

Veldanava smirked. "You know I can hear your thoughts, right?"

I glanced up, noticing the tick mark forming on his forehead. Uh-oh.

"This is an intrinsic skill that could rival even an Ultimate Skill, but you can't fully utilize it yet because you lack a true form."

I frowned. "A true form? What do you mean?"

His smirk widened. That wasn't a good sign.

"Great question. Because my gift isn't over yet."

With a snap of his fingers, a blinding white light engulfed me. Instinctively, I braced myself—I really didn't want to go through the reincarnation process again.

"What the—!?"

When my vision cleared, I found myself staring at… a new body. It resembled Veldanava's human form but had black armor, white hair, and blank eyes. Its horns mirrored his in color, glowing faintly. Before I could process anything, my current body disintegrated, and I was pulled into my new vessel.

As I opened my eyes, I caught my reflection. My new eyes were now a deep, dark blue instead of the empty void they once were. I looked… incredible.

Wait… was I simping for my own body? That was weird.

Veldanava chuckled. "You like it?"

I simply nodded, still in awe. He puffed out his chest in pride.

"This body was crafted by none other than me, using a combination of special dragotite, Magicules, gold for easier control, and Hihiirokane for durability."

I narrowed my eyes. "Why did you give me this power? What if I turned against you?"

My voice carried a mix of concern and irritation. How could he trust me, a complete stranger, with this much power?

Veldanava smirked. "First, you're now my employee. Second, if we fought a thousand times, I'd win every single one. So don't stress about beating me—KUAHAHA! You look adorable when you're angry."

Before I could argue, something suddenly hit my face.

"What the hell!?"

I picked up the object—it was a sword.

Veldanava grinned. "That's [Ark], a legendary-grade weapon. Hope you like it."

To be continued…
