Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The Creator and His Disciple

3rd Person POV

Location: Star Realm

In the vast, infinite skies of the Star Realm, two figures hovered amidst the clouds. One, a golden-haired angel, plummeted downward, crashing into the soft clouds below. A searing energy beam had struck him, sending ripples of force throughout the realm.

The attack's name?— Creator's Nova.

From above, the dark-haired figure descended gracefully, his aura radiating untouchable power. Veldanava, the Creator. His laughter echoed through the heavens, taunting the fallen angel below.

The angel's eyes burned with irritation. Without a second thought, he thrust his hands forward, light gathering into a condensed sphere.

"FIRE SPELL: INFERNO OVERHAUL!"

The radiant of blue plasma shot toward Veldanava with incredible speed. But in a mere flick of his wrist, the Creator negated it effortlessly. In response, he extended his arm, forming a series of blazing star-like projectiles.

"Star Buster."

A barrage of energy blasts rained down upon the angel, who barely managed to weave through them, each explosion sending shockwaves through the air.

Veldanava smirked. "Kuahahaha! I thought you'd be nothing more than a lifeless corpse after taking my Creator's Nova, but you've gotten quite durable over the last four decades! Don't worry, once you learn to control your power and evolve your skills, I'll teach you how to use Stardust properly"

His smirked widen as he continued,

"This is just a taste of what it can do—or maybe you'll figure it out yourself!—Wait, I remember now… Didn't you say you had something to show me? A 'new discovery,' you called it?"

Feldway POV

I sighed, rubbing my temples. "What do you mean by evolving my skills? And by properly using my Stardust energy? How can I fully utilize this broken, destructive force?

After not getting a single response, I simply stared at my now boss-turned-teacher, who was just laughing maniacally while spewing nonsense. What's wrong with this guy?—

Before I could even process my words in my mind, a fresh wave of Star Busters pelted my face. I barely had time to register the impact before Veldanava landed in front of me, arms crossed. A visible tick mark formed on his forehead.

Oh no. He was mad.

"You do realize I created you, right? Which means I can hear all of your thoughts—past, present, and future." His golden eyes bore into mine. "So I suggest you choose your words more wisely, Feldway."

Silence hung between us for a moment.

Veldanava cleared his throat. "Anyway, you can use Stardust particles because—if I'm not mistaken, which I never am—your soul consists of over 89% Stardust energy. Lucky you! But it also means you can't use other energies since you don't meet the same threshold."

"…What?"

"What?"

I blinked. He blinked.

I sighed again. "I'll just… figure it out myself." But deep down, one question had been burning inside me for the last forty years."

I took a deep paused before beginning with my barrage of questions—

"What world are we in? And how did you create this entire reality? And why was I the one who is here?"

The atmosphere shifted in an instant. The playful glint in Veldanava's eyes faded, replaced by an expression I had never seen before.

"…This will take a while to explain," he finally said, his voice quiet. "Let's start with the reality we all reside in."

To be continued…
