Chapter 2 - The Alley

Yejun barely processed what was happening. When he finally realized he wasn't in his room anymore, confusion hit him like a brick. This wasn't a dream. Where the hell was he? He looked around, and that's when he noticed Doyun standing next to him. He looked at him for a few seconds in confusion, why was Doyun here of all people?

"Doyun?"

Doyun glanced over at him, his gaze as playful as always. "Where the hell are we?"

Yejun just blinked, still trying to make sense of things, but Doyun didn't seem as rattled. He sighed, but the playful smirk never left his face. He hesitated for a few seconds as if questing of he can or should answer that, but after a few seconds of whatever that was he finally opened his mouth "you wont believe me anyways if i tell you but, this is the magic world. Welcome, Yejun"

Yejun smirked and ruffled his hair. "Pfft. Funny joke. Now get real." to be honest that second caught him off gaurd but he didnt wanna show it, of course what Doyun said had to be fake, there was no way that was true, besides whatever Doyun says cant be trusted, but still those words echoed through his mind, the answer felt too right, but it cant be..

He didn't take Doyun's words seriously. No way. He stood up, Doyun following, and started looking around. The moment his gaze moved past the alley, it hit him. People. Lots of people, all dressed in a oddly manner, all where dressed in a really weird old school manner . The whole setting was like something from a fantasy novel—vivid but dark at the same time, as if the whole story couldnt just be told through visuals.

It wasn't just the strange clothing. The noise. The bustling. The talking—loud, confident voices filling the air. But what really caught Yejun's attention was how people were staring at them. Whispers ran through the crowd, it was as if people knew who he was, but that just cant be possible, he didnt even know where he was, or if this was even real, so how would they know who he is?

"What the hell is that, Doyun? I thought he decided to stay in the normal world?"

"Wait… isn't that Yejun? No way…"

A group of teenagers snickered. "Pfft, am I seeing things? Yejun and Doyun together? Strange."

Then, a woman started walking toward them. Her walk powerful as if the crowds around didnt bother her a single bit, it was just her and this world. There was an unsettling aura around her—like she owned the place. She had short black hair, piercing dark brown eyes, and a silky black dress going bellow her knees that was way too fancy for an alley like this. Her white gloves and silver jewelry gleamed in the dim light, a purse around her shoulder, again it was a mysterious black, with silver accents.

When she reached them, Yejun noticed Doyun's eyes narrow in irritation. "Chandra?"

The woman smirked, almost too smug. Doyun's annoyance was obvious as he asked, "Why'd I suddenly get sent here?"

Chandra sighed, like she was tired of answering questions. "You know you were never meant to be in the normal world. People like us belong here, not with… them." it was as if she was annoyed even talking about whoever the people where.

Yejun's eyebrows shot up a smirk playing at the corner of his mouth, confusion washing over him. "You know her?"

Doyun shot him a sarcastic look, his smile just as fake as his tone. "I do—"

But before he could finish, Chandra abruptly pushed him aside with a loud thud, her smile twisting into something sharp. Then Doyuns reaction came "Chandra, what the hell?!"

She ignored him, now focusing on Yejun, who was still processing the situation. She tilted her head, eyes wide in surprise. "Yejun? Is this really you?"

Yejun couldn't help but frown. How did she even know his name? "Uh, yeah…? What's the deal?"

Chandra's eyes sparkled as if she just found a long-lost treasure. "I look up to your father. He really inspires me. It's such a shame what happened to him, though."

Yejun's mind froze. "Wait, what?" His confusion only grew as he tilted his head. "What the hell are you talking about?"

Chandra blinked, equally baffled by his confusion. She glanced over at Doyun, who had pulled out a mirror to check himself out, clearly not giving a damn about what was going on. Seriously, this guy…

"Doyun," Chandra said, sounding more annoyed, "Does he not know?"
