"You look beautiful," Eva assured her, as Della stood in front of the door, gazing at it with true longing in her eyes.
"I've never seen her like this," Cori said, and Jared nodded in agreement. Della looked happier than she had in years.
"I heard that," Della muttered, turning around and leaning against the door. Her summery red dress, flowy and feminine, paired with strappy black sandals, gave her an almost bohemian style that was very attractive.
"Don't be nervous, you are irresistible,"
Eva said, "he will be speechless."
"Thank you, but flattery will get you everywhere," Della smiled at Eva. Cori had cooked Chinese food, and hers was the absolute best.
They watched on the doorbell camera as a man made his way to the door, after stepping out of a limo. "Rich guy, I see," Cori said, "at least you know he's not a gold digger."
