"It's okay, kid, I got you," she heard a familiar voice saying. Jaden. Mila raced towards the sound, he paws pounding on the forest floor, sending sticks and dirt flying around her.
She came skidding to a stop, almost running in to Jaden, who was carrying a terrified looking Jax. He looked unharmed, and Mila sniffed him thoroughly.
"Mommy?" Jax asked, looking at Mila. Mila nodded her head and licked his face. That got a smile out of him. "Why are you dressed up like a wolf? Is this a costume party?"
Mila shook her head, and Della struggled with what to do. She didn't want to shift and be naked in the forest with Jaden. She assumed Jaden had shifted, so Jax must have seen it.
Jax can you hear me? Mila said, if Jax had his wolf there was a small chance he would be able to use the mind link since she was his mother. Murphy? Are you there?
I can hear you, but I am not sure if Jax can yet. I came to him early, I don't know if that part of his brain is fully developed.
