Jaden was pacing on the stage, getting ready to give a speech, and the audience was buzzing with excitement. He said he would make an announcement soon, and everyone began to speculate.
"Maybe his Luna got cold feet," someone said.
"I heard she's cold in general," replied another.
"Yeah, now she is going to be a royal bitch!"
Della stifled a laugh as she listened to the gossip. She would withhold judgment, but she was fairly certain only a certain type of she-wolf would be willing to tolerate Jaden's shenanigans.
Jaden stood up on the stage where his ceremony was going to take place, and Della reached for Jax's hand. But Jax wasn't there.
"Jax!" She called out, ignoring the glares from the people around her. Alexander began calling out for him too.
"Our son is missing," Della yelled frantically. "Please, help!" People began looking around, and she was actually grateful when Jaden, from the stage, made an announcement.
