Della gave her daughter, Lily, a kiss and told her to be good, since she was leaving her with Cori and Sheila for the night. Lily's eyes watered a bit when she realized Jax wouldn't be staying, but she quickly forgot about it when Cori suggested they get the paints out.
Della and Alexander bought the couple a house down the street from them, making it a surprise so they couldn't protest. It didn't have the ocean views, but it was a beautiful home that also backed to a forested area. "We will have to do another run soon, that was so amazing seeing all of those huge trees!" Della said, lingering for a moment.
"That was the most fun I've had in forever, and my wolf loved it!" Cori agreed.
"You guys have a fun night, and we will make sure Lily here has fun too," Cori gave her a reassuring smile.
