"I refuse! Who would play such a childish game? No one cares about who pees farther! Humph." Uchiha Madara snorted, his voice carrying a nasal tone. As expected, he truly deserved the title of the number one tsundere in the Naruto world.
"I think it's a good idea, Madara. It sounds interesting. Although I've never tried it before, since he's so confident, maybe he really is good at it." The ever-naïve Hashirama found Su Xiuyu's suggestion amusing. Only someone with a brain like Hashirama would actually take it seriously.
"Well, since everyone thinks it's fine, let's get started," Su Xiuyu announced, already preparing to take off his pants before Madara could protest. He couldn't give this tsundere a chance to back out. Sure enough, the clueless Hashirama also started untying his waistband, and Madara, his face flushed red, hesitated before following suit.
"The loser has to fulfill a small request from the winner!" Su Xiuyu declared. "Ready... go!" He didn't even wait for them to agree before shouting the start.
And so, the three of them stood by the river, competing to see who could pee the farthest. Su Xiuyu focused all his effort into his "technique." No one would ever believe that the future ninja gods were once three fools competing to pee by the river.
In the end, the results were clear: Su Xiuyu took first place, Hashirama came in second, and Madara, unfortunately, placed last.
"Damn it! How could I lose?!" Madara cursed. "This isn't fair! I didn't drink enough water today!" His frustration was evident—he knew he had just done something incredibly stupid, yet he still cared about the outcome.
Hashirama patted him on the shoulder, trying to comfort him. "Madara, it was just a game. A loss is a loss. Alright, alright, I believe you didn't drink enough water."
Then, turning to Su Xiuyu, he said, "Alright, you're the big winner. What do you want us to do? But if it's too difficult, I won't do it."
Su Xiuyu exhaled in relief and glanced at the young Madara. Thank god Hashirama was here. If he weren't, Madara might have actually killed him over this ridiculous contest.
"My request isn't anything major. I just want a little bit of your blood."
The two were momentarily surprised, but after a moment, they shrugged it off. In the Warring States era, shedding blood was a common occurrence.
Without much hesitation, they used their kunai to make small cuts on their palms and each handed Su Xiuyu a bit of their blood.
"What's your name, little brother? We still don't know it," Hashirama asked absentmindedly, only now realizing they had never introduced themselves.
"My name is Su Xiuyu. I'm just an ordinary person. You two are both ninjas, right?"
Su Xiuyu?
Madara and Hashirama exchanged a glance. Doesn't seem like a name from any of the major ninja clans. His clothes were also different from those worn by elite families. He looked more like someone from a noble background—one of those pampered aristocrats who rarely saw battle.
In this era, war dominated everything.
With his delicate features and soft skin, Su Xiuyu resembled those nobles who lived in luxury, avoiding the harsh realities of the battlefield.
"I also want to be a ninja—one as strong as you two," Su Xiuyu added.
Madara's eyes brightened at that statement. Heh, so this rich kid admires my strength.
After all, even though Su Xiuyu had just defeated him in that embarrassing contest, he seemed to understand who the strongest was. Seeing that the kid was sensible enough, Madara decided not to kill him.
The three of them lay on the riverbank, covering their eyes with leaves, chatting about their dreams.
"As for me, I want to build a village where everyone can live together without conflict. Children won't have to go to the battlefield, and people can enjoy peaceful lives," Hashirama said, launching into his idealistic vision once again.
"As for me, I just want to stand at the top—not for power, but to see further, to witness the world's prosperity from above," Su Xiuyu said.
"Oh wow, Su Xiuyu, that's quite the ambition," Hashirama remarked with a grin. "What about you, Madara?"
"Me?" Madara glanced at the sky, his voice uncharacteristically soft. "Didn't I already say it? I want to build that village with you. And I also want to make sure Izuna stays safe."
At the mention of Izuna, Hashirama's cheerful expression darkened slightly. His thoughts drifted to the many brothers he had lost. The atmosphere grew heavy for a moment.
The three young boys lay there, talking about their dreams. They were still too young to truly understand sorrow.
Su Xiuyu listened quietly, his emotions complicated. Neither Hashirama nor Madara knew that he was a visitor from another world.
For now, at least, there were no barriers between them.
This peaceful afternoon in the forest was something that would never come again.
"Well, Hashirama, I probably won't be able to come out later. My father might notice that I've been meeting with you in secret," Madara admitted dejectedly.
The young Madara was still just a child. At this stage, he had no power to change his father's views, let alone influence the entire Uchiha clan.
The same was true for Hashirama. The Senju were just as stubborn as the Uchiha. After so many years of war, both sides had fought until they no longer had the capacity for reason.
At this point, Hashirama hadn't yet developed his Wood Release strong enough to end the chaos.
Watching these two "confide in each other," Su Xiuyu was incredibly relieved to have entered their circle at this time.
With the system's help, he was sure he could keep up with their pace and carve out his own legend.
"Don't be discouraged," Su Xiuyu said. "I have a way to find you even if you can't leave your home. Just don't regret it when I show up uninvited."
He found it genuinely enjoyable to hang out with these two guys his age.
"Alright! Come find me whenever you want!" Hashirama said enthusiastically. "It gets boring at home."
"Who wants to play with you?" Madara scoffed, his tsundere nature kicking in again. "I still have training to do—I don't have time to waste on you two."
"Yeah, yeah, I get it." Su Xiuyu smirked. "Anyway, I'm heading home for today. I'll come find you two later."
---
After saying goodbye to Hashirama and Madara, Su Xiuyu traveled back through the woods. When he opened his eyes again, he was in his familiar room. He glanced at the alarm clock on his table—almost midnight.
Getting up, he quietly opened the door and peeked into the master bedroom. His parents were sleeping peacefully. Good. They didn't notice anything.
If they ever found out he was traveling to another world, they'd be worried sick. After all, in this world, interdimensional travel wasn't just a myth or legend—it was real. But the mortality rate was sky-high, even worse than going to war. He had no intention of telling them for now.
Sitting back down, he summoned the system panel.
System: The blood of the Child of Destiny, the blood of Ashura and Indra, has been successfully collected.
Bloodline Potion has been created. It is recommended that the host use the Bloodline Potion.
Su Xiuyu exhaled. It was finally time.
If he wanted to stand alongside the future ninja gods, he couldn't afford to fall behind. Taking out the Bloodline Potion, he followed the system's instructions, using the intravenous serum syringe to complete the injection.
System: Serum syringe recovered and automatically destroyed.
Su Xiuyu tensed, bracing for intense pain—but nothing came.
Surprised, he let out a small sigh and didn't overthink it. Before long, sleep took over.
The next morning, despite going to bed late, he woke up feeling incredibly refreshed.
Summoning the system panel again, he checked his progress.
System: Su Xiuyu's bloodline is evolving… Estimated completion time: three months.
So that's how it works.
The transformation wasn't instantaneous—it would take time. It made sense. How could something as complex as bloodline fusion happen overnight?
That said, his vision already seemed sharper. This was the first real step toward transcendence.
---
At breakfast, Su Xiuyu ate a ridiculous amount of food. His mother frowned at him with concern.
"Don't rush. Eat slowly," she chided gently. "Growing boys need to take care of their health and eat in moderation."
Su Xiuyu, however, wasn't really paying attention. After quickly finishing his meal, he grabbed his bag and rushed to school.
On the way, he ran into Wei Haoyu, both of them sprinting at full speed—they were nearly late.
"Hey, why the hell are you running so fast today, Su Xiuyu?!" Wei Haoyu gasped, struggling to keep up. "Wait for me!"
In the end, Su Xiuyu barely made it into the classroom on time. Unfortunately for Wei Haoyu, he was one second too slow and had to stand outside, staring at Su Xiuyu with resentment.
---
During the break, Wei Haoyu grumbled at him.
"You're disloyal as hell, man."
Su Xiuyu smirked and dragged him toward the practice room.
"If I slowed down, I'd be stuck outside with you. And as your brother, you definitely wouldn't want that, right?"
Wei Haoyu rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. Anyway, have you decided on your future? Senior year's almost over. Are you aiming for Martial Arts University or a Cultural University?"
Su Xiuyu shook his head. "I might not go to college at all."
Wei Haoyu froze. "Huh?"
Su Xiuyu hadn't really given it much thought, but he knew one thing—school wasn't his priority anymore. The path he was walking was taking him far beyond ordinary education.

Martial Arts Class
"Today's lesson is practical combat," the instructor announced. "We'll be drawing lots to decide combat groups. Each person will fight twice. Now, pick your matchups."
Su Xiuyu pulled out two names—Lei Gang and Cheng Yaojia.
Lei Gang was a martial arts fanatic, ruthless but straightforward—the type to take fighting dead seriously. Cheng Yaojia was quiet and shy, but incredibly popular due to her gentle personality and beauty.
Of course, Su Xiuyu wasn't blind. He understood why she was well-liked.
"Now, let the battles begin!"
At the teacher's signal, the students engaged in combat.
Lei Gang moved like a thunderstorm, charging in aggressively. He was the top fighter in the class, and when he saw Su Xiuyu standing there calmly, he thought, Oh, he's looking down on me? Let's see if he can handle this.
He rushed in, planning to slam Su Xiuyu onto the ground.
But the next moment—
Boom!
Lei Gang was the one who got thrown instead.
Gasps filled the room.
No way.
Lei Gang was 6'2" and over 190 pounds. Meanwhile, Su Xiuyu was only about 5'7" and barely 130 pounds. There was no logical way for him to pull off that throw.
But the reality was right in front of them.
Lei Gang lay on the ground, stunned. His face flushed red, but he wasn't the type to cheat his way out of defeat.
"I lost."
He got up and admitted defeat on the spot. He wasn't dumb—he knew Su Xiuyu had gone easy on him.
That throw should've been bone-crushing, but Su Xiuyu had controlled his strength, making it surprisingly light.
"You awakened, didn't you?" Lei Gang asked.
Su Xiuyu nodded. "Yeah. Last night."
Lei Gang exhaled, relieved. That explained it.
Awakenings had started appearing over the past few years, and while rare, they weren't unheard of. Most awakenings simply enhanced physical abilities, but some had special powers like controlling metal or breathing fire.
For now, awakened abilities weren't game-breaking, but they still gave people an edge in exploring different worlds.
Awakening wasn't just about power—it also determined what kind of training path you were best suited for. Talent and effort were important, but choosing the right direction mattered even more.
Now that he knew Su Xiuyu had awakened, Lei Gang didn't feel as embarrassed about losing.
Su Xiuyu, meanwhile, knew Lei Gang was a good guy.
He was stubborn, sure, but he never used his strength to bully people. In fact, he had stepped in to stop troublemakers before.
Overall, he was someone worth respecting.
