Chapter 7
"Not the wiping out of the whole of humanity, but I do understand his anger. I would be pretty pissed if someone burned my wife alive and then celebrated it," he stopped as he looked back at them with utmost seriousness as they looked at him. "And I would be even more pissed if it was my Mother." This time, he looked at Alucard, who frowned a little and was about to say something when Levi chuckled. "Well, it's a good thing that I don't have a wife or mom to be burned as a witch," he said before he continued, humming his tune loudly.

The next morning, Gresit was still recovering from last night's raids. Inside some old decrepit house that was half broken, Trevor and Alucard were staring daggers at each other before they both turned towards Levi, who was sleeping peacefully in a sitting position. Trevor groaned, "How can he sleep comfortably in that position? And I have slept in some uncomfortable positions." Alucard chimed in, "Yeah, it's honestly a bit unsettling," he said in his usual low-toned voice. Suddenly, Levi leaped out of his position, yelling, "WANDA!" as he reached for something or someone, but there was no one there—just Trevor, Alucard, and Sypha, who had just entered.
Seeing the situation, Levi coughed as he chanted, "Oh magic, give a fresh sphere of room-temperature water." The magic listened, giving him a ball of water and, in return, taking a bit of his mana. Sypha asked, "You know, with your magic, you could help the survivors by providing fresh water." This just made Levi sigh as he said, "My magic is powered by a unique energy that I am compatible with—others aren't. Unless what you are asking is to poison and kill whatever is left of Gresit?" he asked jokingly. Sypha sighed, "So, how do we proceed?" she asked as Trevor said, "The old Belmont estate. Since Dracula's castle moves as if it is powered by magic, maybe there is something that can help us in the old Belmont estate." Alucard asked, "I was under the impression it was destroyed. Villagers, pitchforks, and torches, that sort of thing."
Trevor replied, "It was. But the value of the old house wasn't the house itself—it was what was underneath it. The Belmont Hold. Our family library and trove," Trevor said. Alucard chimed in, "The collected knowledge and material of generations of Belmonts who fought the creatures of the night." Levi's eyes stared as he thought, "Maybe there is something interesting." He smiled as he said, "That sounds interesting. Guess we know our destination," as Alucard skeptically responded, "If it survives…" which made Trevor groan as he explained, "If there are solutions to the problems of finding and killing Dracula, they are in the Hold." Alucard, continuing to be pessimistic, said, "You're guessing, though," as Levi spoke.
"You got a better idea? I'm not talking about walking into his castle, getting injured, and needing a year to recover," earning a glare from Alucard as Trevor chuckled. "I am guessing. I can't read or understand magic, but my family stored everything they found in the hold," Trevor said, making Levi excited as he got up. "Yup, we are definitely leaving. Come on, what are we waiting for?" he said before he walked away. "I am going to look for a carriage," he yelled as Sypha smiled. "It's nice to see him excited," she said as she ran after him, leaving Alucard and Trevor alone, which wasn't the best idea, as they immediately started cursing at each other.

Riding in a broken-down carriage that was barely able to run with weak horses, Sypha and Trevor steered while Alucard and Levi rode in the back. Levi was meditating—something the trio hadn't seen him do before—and he had been doing it for a while, strengthening his core to progress to the next stage. When he stopped, opening his eyes, Levi stretched for a second as the trio noticed he was out of meditation. "Now you look like a proper sorcerer," Trevor said in his usual tone. Levi chuckled, "Oh please, just because I carry around a guitar doesn't mean I'm not a sorcerer." Alucard looked at Levi, who noticed and asked, "What?" Alucard took a deep breath and asked, "Who is Wanda?" The entire carriage got quiet as both Sypha and Trevor tuned in, curious as to who Wanda was.
Levi sighed before he said, "Wanda is a cockblocking ghost." The moment he said this, the carriage got even quieter before they all burst into full-blown laughter. Every one of them started bawling as Trevor said, "Now that is a funny joke," and Alucard added, "I think that is a brand-new sentence." Sypha continued to giggle. "I'm serious," Levi argued, faintly aggravated. Alucard asked, "A cockblocking ghost?" making sure he had heard correctly. Trevor said, "I don't think that was in the family bestiary, and there are a lot of weird things in there." Levi sighed. "How does it work?" Sypha asked. Levi explained, "It started since I could lust. Every time I try to initiate a make-out session or even have such a thought, she literally pops up in my head. Her long bright red hair, her porcelain skin that was cracked, and from them, a faint purple and red light glowing from it, and her featureless face… Gosh, that was the worst part of the whole experience," he said.
Technically, this was the previous Levi experience, but it was the same thing as Trevor looked back and asked, "So every time you thought of kissing or having sex with a woman, she literally pops up in your head?" Levi answered shortly, "Yes." Alucard then said, "Why not just ignore it? I mean, the first time she appeared, it would put you off the mood, but by the 10th, 20th time, shouldn't you be used to it?" Levi replied, "Well, I tried to ignore her the third time, but she started to speak, threatening to kill me if I tried to touch another. She can get pretty scary at times with the details she described in killing me and whoever I was with," he said as he looked up. Trevor now started to feel bad along with Sypha, as Alucard suggested, "Maybe try a man," to which Levi just sighed.
"I am only into women," Levi said as he took out his guitar and chuckled, "You know, I am the first-ever virgin bard. Can you imagine? A virgin bard! It's like saying Belmont without alcohol—it just feels wrong." Trevor agreed, "You are right about that. A Belmont without ale? What a nightmare." The whole carriage fell into silence before Sypha giggled and mumbled, "A cockblocking ghost." Levi sighed as he said, "You know, I can do pretty wild things with magic, like, for example, providing ale to Trevor." They both turned toward him and spoke at the same time, "Please don't." "Can you?" Levi just chuckled as Alucard asked, "Have you tried getting rid of the ghost?" Levi simply replied, "At this point, I don't really care. I don't feel like having sex anymore," to which Trevor responded.
