Chapter 6 - Alucard(chapter 6)

Chapter 6

That is right, Levi's hunter was chaos magic personified. While he had the ability to communicate with magic, it was quite ironic, which is slowly growing on him. Although the look of horror that Sypha and Trevor gave him was quite entertaining as well. "What?" he asked as the vampire finally turned towards Trevor and asked, "How about you? Are you in search of a mythical savior?" He asked as Trevor replied nonchalantly, "I fell down a hole." However, it seemed like Sypha wanted her story heard as she said, "Dracula is abroad in the land. He has an army of monsters. He's determined to wipe out all human life wherever he finds it," as the vampire asked, "Is that what you believe?" as Trevor answered. "That Dracula's released his horde in Wallachia? That's fact. There's no 'belief' involved," he said as the vampire replied, "But that's not what you're asking," as Trevor narrowed his eyes. "No," he replied as Levi smiled before he asked, "Hey magic, make me a chair from the rubble behind him," which magic did in exchange for mana as a throne chair manifested behind him. Sypha stared at him, giving him a strange glare while the two men ignored him as Trevor asked, "You're asking if I believe you're some sleeping messiah who'll save us, and no, I don't." The vampire didn't reply as Sypha yelled, "Belmont!" as Trevor said, "I know what you are," which seemed to amuse the vampire as he asked.

"And what am I?" to which Trevor replied, "You're a vampire. So, I have to ask myself, have we come down here to wake up the man who'll kill Dracula, or did we come here to wake Dracula?" which confused the vampire who said, "You call me Dracula?" as Trevor replied, "I'll call you anything you like if you're gonna show me your teeth." That is when the vampire said, "She called you Belmont. House of Belmont?" he asked, to which Trevor replied, "Trevor Belmont, last son of the house of Belmont." The vampire floated towards the trio as he said, "The Belmonts fought creatures of the night, did they not? For generations," as Trevor replied, "Say what you mean," the vampire sighed as he said, "The Belmonts killed vampires," to which Trevor replied, "Until the good people decided they didn't want us around. And now Dracula is carrying out an execution order on the human race." The vampire looked at Trevor as he asked.

"Do you care, Belmont?" Trevor smiled as he said, "Honestly, I didn't, no. But now… yes, it's time to stop it." He said as he circled the vampire, who didn't move an inch as he asked, "Do you think you can?" The vampire asked as Trevor reached onto his whip. "What I think… is I'm going to have to kill you." Of course, Sypha yelled at him to stop, "Belmont, no! He's the one we've been waiting for," but Trevor was not having it. "No, he's not. He's a vampire. And he's not been waiting here for hundreds of years, have you?" He asked as the vampire frowned.

"I don't like your tone, Belmont," he said as Trevor spoke. "This place is old, but it's not been abandoned. It's alive and working. So, go on, vampire, tell her exactly how long you've been waiting down here?" He asked as Levi, in the midst of all of this, was observing the two with a smile on his face. The vampire asked, "What is the year of your Lord?" He looked at Sypha, who answered, "1476," making Levi ponder, "Oh gosh, I have gone back in time, nearly 600 years into the future," he thought. The vampire answered, "Perhaps a year, then," which was the answer that Trevor was looking for as he said, "And there it is. And on top of that, what kind of messiah creates mechanical death traps to buy himself an uninterrupted nap in a stone coffin?" As the vampire explained himself.

"My defenses were not for you," to which Trevor sarcastically replied, "You could have told your defenses that," making the vampire reply, "They are machines, nothing more. They were not intended to protect me from you. I asked you a question… do you care?" The vampire asked as Trevor replied, "I care about doing my family's work. I care about saving human lives. Am I going to have to kill you?" Making the vampire telekinetically retrieve a long silver sword as he asked, "Do you think you can? If you're really a Belmont and not some runt running around with a family crest, you might be able to—" but his words were cut short from a single whip slash from Belmont, who sent the vampire flying as he said, "Let's find out," as the two started to fight.

"Belmont, you can't do this!" Sypha tried to stop them as the two lunged at each other, clashing before they both jumped back. "Tell it to your floating vampire Jesus here," as the vampire replied with a growl, "You've got nothing but insults, have you?" As they started to fight, with Trevor and his whip having the advantage as he pushed the vampire, before the vampire disarmed him of his whip. The fight evolved into that of a sword fight, and it was there where the vampire shined, eventually pinning Trevor, who managed to stab the vampire. They were both at a stalemate until Sypha intervened, pushing them both back with her magic.

"Enough!" She yelled as she said, "My goal is to stand up for the people, just like him," she said as the vampire sighed before he looked at Levi, who was sitting on his stone throne. "And what about him?" As they all looked at him. "Honestly, I am not sure, but he is a sorcerer, and he is not weaker than any of us," she said as the vampire chuckled. "Good, a sorcerer, a speaker magician, and a vampire hunter. You guys will do," he said before he introduced himself. "I am Adrian Tepes, known to the Wallachians as Alucard, son of Vlad Dracula Tepes. I've been asleep here in my private keep under Gresit for a year to heal the wounds dealt by my father when I attempted to stop him from unleashing his demon armies," he said as Levi finally spoke. "Interesting. Isn't Alucard just Dracula spelled backward? So you are like the opposite of your father?" He asked as Alucard said, "Yes, that was the intent behind the name." Levi then got up, letting the stone throne crumble into rubble as he said, "Good. A vampire, a vampire hunter, a speaker magician, and a bard. We almost make a team. All we need is an archer/thief as well as a tank, and we are a full party," he said happily as the three of them looked at him. "I didn't realize this before, but you are pretty weird," said Trevor as Levi replied, "What an obstinate observation, my friend," mockingly as he walked past them. "Now then, shall we go? We have an angry vampire, who, in my opinion, has every right to be angry, by the way," he said, walking away as the three of them were a little taken aback by what he said. "Wait, you agree with the evil vampire trying to wipe out all of humanity?" Sypha asked as Levi chuckled.
