This is absolutely crazy. Initially kidnapped to a shoe shop, invited to drink together at a bar, kissed, and now an impromptu proposal. Serena became even more furious when she saw her brother-in-law's shameless actions today even though today was Lariette's death day. What Asher did today seemed like he was having an affair, if Lariette were still alive, Serena would immediately report everything that happened to her today.
Staring into the intense blue eyes, Serena didn't show any nervousness. However, that didn't mean she wanted to answer this impudent proposal which made her even more confused. She was still curious about whether Asher was really the murderer who killed Lariette or not. Actually, what was Asher's purpose in suddenly wanting to marry her on the day Lariette died? Is Asher's way of killing people just by making a woman his wife and then killing them when he gets bored?
Her right hand pushed Asher's sturdy body. "Are you crazy?! You suddenly want to get married at a time like this?"
"Why? You don't want to?"
"You're not human, Asher! If you were human, you wouldn't have proposed to me on the day Lariette died! Even animals have more conscience than you!"
Even though he was severely cursed by his sister-in-law, Asher still wore a sinister smile. "You'll regret it someday, Serena."
"I'll regret it? I think you were wrong, Asher. I actually hate you even more because now you think of me as a Barbie doll. You suddenly brought beautiful shoes for me and are now proposing to me in a strange way. Do you think of Lariette as your doll too?"
"If you reject my proposal, you will suffer the consequences. You have to sleep with me at the hotel today!"
If this strange conversation continues, Serena will really go crazy and destroy the entire bar. This time she took the initiative to distance herself from this crazy man.
Spontaneously got up from the chair and took off the beautiful shoes that Asher had given her. "I won't accept your trashy gifts! Thank you for taking me to all those useless places and wasting my time."
It doesn't matter that walking barefoot makes her feet cold now because the bar tiles are cold like a refrigerator, Serena's principle has always been that she doesn't want to marry a jerk. What's more, marrying a murderer.
She had already taken a few steps now, when she wanted to reach the bar door, suddenly her body was lifted by her brother-in-law, making her eyes widen. For a moment, she turned his head and looked at her brother-in-law. His actions were getting crazier, even though there were bar visitors watching this crazy and embarrassing scene.
"What are you doing?!"
"Can you keep it down? People are looking at us now."
"I won't care if your reputation is suddenly destroyed because of your crazy actions."
"I told you the consequences before. If you reject me, you have to sleep with me tonight!"
Asher didn't mess around with the crazy words he said. He actually took Serena into an executive hotel room. Serena continued to pound Asher's muscular chest. Now she felt like she had really been kidnapped by the killer and now if she looked at the position of Asher's body which was on top of hers, would Asher rape her now?
Asher brought his lips closer to his sister-in-law's neck with a deadly smile. "What do you think now, Serena?"
"Now you want to rape me?"
Asher flicked Serena's forehead gently. "Lariette really doesn't know her sister. Even though you are known to have a very innocent attitude. It turns out you like to think strange things."
Serena immediately glared at Asher while pushing the burly body away from her. "You perverted man! I have to report you to the police."
When Serena wanted to take her cell phone, what Asher did now was very different from what she was currently thinking. Asher took off his coat, then lay down on the bed. Seeing Asher's movements, which looked like an ordinary person, Serena gave up her intention of pressing the emergency contact.
"I won't do anything to you today. I'm very tired," said Asher weakly with his eyes closed.
"Then, I'm going home now." Suddenly Asher's hand was held tightly.
"You have to stay in bed with me."
Serena folded her arms. "Are you trustworthy?"
Asher still pursed his lips. He turned around to sleep facing Serena now.
Serena felt like she was now trapped in the killer's deadly game. Will she be able to survive since she was trapped in a strange relationship with her mysterious brother-in-law?
The next day, Serena immediately ran away from the hotel before Asher woke up. Actually, she was confused about her purpose now. If she returned to her step family's residence, she would be tortured and enslaved again. Is it the right choice to return to this demon family?
When Serena just set foot at the main door of her residence, she was dragged by her stepmother up the stairs one by one like a barking dog. Her body is now covered in bruises from being dragged by force.
The stepmother dragged Serena into a room in the attic. In the room, all the family members were waiting for her. Tears filled her eyes when she saw that her family did not ask how she was running away all day, but instead wanted to torture her even worse.
"Where have you been? Why aren't you home?!" Aaron shouted pushing the wooden chair.
Serena tried to remain strong and faced her stepfather with a sharp gaze. "I have the right not to go home! Why do you always make me your dog?"
Barbara pushed Serena onto the bed while slapping her cheeks repeatedly in satisfaction. "You ignorant child! On the day Lariette died, you made trouble! Lariette will definitely hate you!"
"No. Only she still treats me as a human. Not like you guys who for decades tortured me just because I was an outcast child."
All these demon family members walked out of the attic room. The stepmother took the keys while showing it to Serena.
"Because you ran away the day Lariette died, you must reflect on your actions for a week in this room! You will not be given any more food!"
