Chapter 4 - The Uchiha Clan Meeting!
[Naruto Renji]: [I've got a rough plan. Let's start with the clan meeting!]
After some thought, he decided to start with the clan meeting.
For now, the primary goal is to see if he can gain the support of other Uchiha clan members.
This way, he can oust Fugaku. Fugaku is a decent clan head during peaceful times, but now is different. The Uchiha clan doesn't need a dove as their leader.

After figuring out a solution, Renji decided to take action. At least while there's still a chance, he doesn't want to defect just yet.

With God Valley approaching, he needs to focus on training. If he wastes any more time, he might really die at God Valley.
To participate in God Valley, he needs at least the strength of someone like Golden Lion or Shiki.
Otherwise, people like Silver Axe and Captain John, who died at God Valley, will be his fate.
The God's Knights, Garp, the Roger Pirates, and the Rocks Pirates.
This war is even more intense than the Marineford War.
Basically, all the top fighters of this era will be there.
A three-way battle between the World Government, the Marines, and the pirates. If you're even slightly weak, you'll die.
And this battle has plenty of treasures.
Kuma's Paw-Paw Fruit, Kaido's Dragon-Dragon Fruit. But honestly, Renji is more inclined toward the latter.
However, Devil Fruits in the One Piece world often choose their users.

In the One Piece world, Devil Fruits are mostly supplementary. What truly matters is Haki.

At the meeting venue, Renji pushed the door open and entered. The noise inside immediately made him feel irritated.
He's attended quite a few Uchiha clan gatherings recently.
As an elite Uchiha ninja with a Three-Tomoe Sharingan at his age, Renji has always been a key focus of the clan's cultivation efforts.
Especially after Itachi and Shisui started leaning toward Konoha and distancing themselves from the Uchiha clan.

Among the radicals, Uchiha Setsuna waved at Renji, signaling him to come over.

On the other hand, he wanted to reap benefits from both sides. After all, once the Uchiha clan was wiped out, most of the clan's assets and techniques would likely be taken by Konoha's F4.
If he didn't take them now, they would just end up benefiting the Third Hokage and Danzo.
But now that he had decided to take action, he would have to have a proper talk with both of them afterward.

Uchiha Tetsu and Uchiha Setsuna, who had been arguing heatedly, suddenly calmed down.
They turned their heads, both looking at Renji with expressions of disbelief. They clearly hadn't expected Renji to say something like this.
They had invited Renji many times before to have private discussions, but Renji had always found excuses to avoid them, never giving them a chance.
But now, he wanted to talk to them privately?
Why both of them, and not just one?
Although they were still a bit confused, they didn't dwell on it too much and quickly agreed. After that, they stopped arguing over where Renji should sit and instead resumed their earlier quarrel.
It wasn't until Uchiha Fugaku arrived that the room finally quieted down.
Looking at the crowd below, Fugaku sighed inwardly. Itachi... still hasn't come, has he?
Although the clan had already stopped allowing Itachi and Shisui to attend clan meetings—since they had joined the ANBU and might report to Hiruzen Sarutobi—they were no longer fully trusted by the Uchiha clan.
Moreover, Fugaku had recently begun to feel that he no longer understood Itachi.
Now, Itachi didn't even bother to show up. What was that child thinking?
Fugaku felt a pang of sadness. He began to wonder whether sending Itachi to be a spy had been the right decision.
