"Chase, why did you come into the house just like that? You frightened me."
Chase—I tried to talk slowly, not sure if he noticed that I was pissed off. With an Alpha, I needed to act submissive, and most importantly, he was my dangerous bully. I had been in a contract of love with him.
Chase grinned, walking towards the bed. His eyes grining along with his lips. When he got to me, he leaned in close, his hands pressing on the bed, and the bridge of his nose almost touching mine.
"Bunny, little me, I told you that I'd make you pay for this, didn't I?"
My breath hitched at the meaning behind his words. I understood what he was saying. My body seemed to move back in resistance, but my eyes refused to leave his. I wanted to turn my face away and not look at him, but Chase caught my chin with his hand.
"Do you still think that you are a powerful Luna?" he said with a grin. "That you have all the right to yourself? That you can easily control me?"
