Chapter 11 - What's Next?

The stars I saw when first came to this world, they were my classmates. I already knew that. If you think about it, there were like 20 stars and they all came from the same spot. I have 24 classmates plus the teacher and I left them all in the same spot. Its a weird conclusion to come up with after only that but my theory was confirmed when I saw the boy from the military kingdom and could immediately tell who he's supposed to be. I don't know how. Like instinct.

The Heaven's Favored. What's that supposed to mean? Is it something that I should know? It sounds really important. What could it mean though. Like the gods like me or something? No. There was a time when Clara told me something about heaven. When I asked about worship. But I don't remember. I can't ask her right now either. What'll happen in 15 years?

However, none of those caught my interest that much. I did not know that there were other continents in this world. I wonder how they are. Airi is in this world too. In another continent. I have to get to her. But how? There has to be a reason why I haven't heard about the other continent. For know, I'll focus on what's next.

The representatives of the the dwarves, elves, beast people, and every other being in Haven. The four lords, Giselle, and me, whose mana still hasn't returned. These were the ones present for the meeting to discuss the way forward. It took place at a garden where everyone sat in two rows that faced each other. At the center was some space for them to speak.

The importance of this meeting was like none other. The time had come for the humans to know of the birth of a new kingdom. If they hadn't already known.

Before the hero came, information about Haven had already began spreading. The first to hear the news was the emperor of the Reunen Imperium. Then the king of Aetheria who learnt it just recently. This was all the work of Nirvana.

As soon as the new map was drawn, she mad two copies and sent them to the humans in random places. She didn't expect it to get to world leaders. She wanted to see their reaction. Whether they'll take it seriously or not. Basically, a test. Because of this, our plans had to change.

Only two nations know about us. With that short amount of time they probably didn't communicate to each other about the matter. Which means that there's a low possibility that they believe the news. So the idea was to make them believe it. This was for them to acknowledge our kingdom. That way, we could prevent invasions and keep our secrets from the humans.

How can one be acknowledged. Through accomplishments? No. Not in this situation. But it could still work. How though?

This continent is massive. If I were to compare it with those in earth, I would say its around the size of Asia and two thirds of Africa combined. And there's still supposed to be others. Our kingdom runs from the western most point to the north eastern. What if a wall was to be built.

"A wall?" Those present asked in unison. The idea was brought about by the representative of the goblins.

"Yeah. Along the entire boundary. From west to north east."

"But that distance from west to east is over 5900 Leguas. That's without taking into account the shape of the boundary." Giselle said.

A legua is the same as 1.5 miles. Which means, over 8900 miles or 14300 km. That's the diameter of the continent.

"If we were to build a wall stretching across the entire boundary, it'll be much longer than that." Nirvana said. "The Aetheria kingdom has a long coastline but it's small. So the boundary goes south a little and is therefore extended by a few thousand leguas. Not to mention all the curves along the boundary."

"The total distance will be 17564 leguas." Said the representative of the dwarves. That's around 26346 miles or 42400km.

"We can't do that." Nephilim said. "That's impossible. At least, for us." Then they all looked at me, seated at the far end on a wheelchair. Then they looked at each other and started murmuring about how the idea might actually be possible.

"Everyone. Lets calm down. If we've all decided that the idea might be possible, then we'll ask our master once he's power returns." Nirvana said.

As soon as she said that, they felt a powerful aura coming from my direction. My mana had returned then instantly got to full power. Then my arm, which was made of solidified mana also returned. First order of business. "Growth." A large amount of mana came from me. It was more dense than usual. Even the four lords noticed it. Then it all came back, increasing my power by double.

"If you want me to build a wall of that size I'll need more power. Wouldn't you agree?" I said. Then I noticed them looking at me with weird expressions. "What?" Then they all pointed at their own left eyes, signaling that something is wrong with mine.

The blindfold fell and my eyes were exposed. The right eye was pink which is my new normal. But the left eye, which I didn't have for a while had now appeared, looking quite unusual. The eyeball was black, the iris blue and the pupil black. That was obviously new and was not the only thing different.

An earring appeared on my left ear. It had a character on it. Death. I didn't know what it was and tried to take it off to have a look, but it didn't come off. Its like it was a part of my body.

"What is this?" I said as I tried to pluck it out of my ear.

"That's an identification." Nephilim said as he thought, 'Never did I think that I'll see that identification again so soon. And now, its on our master. Truly, you are incredible, master.'

What's anidentification? I asked Clara.

"An identification is a blessing bestowed upon a being by heaven. It can be claimed through certain procedures such as completing trials, or by killing a being that already has one. In this case, you've completed the latter and was therefore able to obtain an identity as one blessed by heaven."

That reminds me. What is heaven? Is it like a collection of gods or something? You always talk about it like its a person.

"No compatible answer found for your question." Figures. A while ago, I discovered that Clara hides some information that I ask with that excuse. But why? And the eye. What's with it?

"After killing black death, you were able to keep its mana which is vastly different from regular mana. The situation is even worse with you since you're not from this world. Your body forced the new mana to one spot, where it originally began appearing. Your eye. That's why it has a different color."

Well, I'm not complaining. At least now I have an eye that I can open regularly. It also looks cool. I'm gonna keep it.

"For now, lets focus on the matter at hand." I told everyone. "You were saying to build a wall along the border, correct? What do we do afterwards."

"You're saying that you'll do it?" Giselle asked.

"Mmhmm. I don't see why not."

And, just like that, the decision was made to build a wall. This had to be done in record time for the entire continent to notice it. But accomplishments aren't the only way to be acknowledged. This can also be done, by fear.

At this time, everyone in the continent knows about how the dragon lord destroyed the capital of a kingdom that was later on abandoned by its people. It would be a shame if it were to just say quiet after doing such a thing. And what's scarier than a big dragon? A big dragon together with a big six armed monstrosity.

Nephilim had the ability to increase his size or become smaller. Since the time we met, he was always about 15 feet tall. Why not bigger. And so the first day of this important meeting ended with two conclusions.

The next day, I began the first part. I went to the furthest point in the west and sat down on the ground. Then I looked beyond. Nothing but forest. Not even a sign that there's any civilization. Behind me was the sea. A beautiful blue. In front were trees. Evergreen.

It hadn't occurred to me how big of a deal what I'm about to do is. In my previous world, the longest man made structure ever created was the great wall of China. Something that took over 2000 years and millions of people to make.

I'm about to build something twice the length, 20 meters high, 5 meters wide. In both worlds, this might just be the largest man made structure to ever exist. Now that I think about it. This is a very big deal.

One man, one task. No help, no witnesses. No one to assure me that it's possible. I only said I would do it because everything is possible in my eyes. But is that really true? The answer is obvious... Yes.

Who wouldn't notice something like this that appeared out of nowhere. One word. That's all it'll take. I already know where it will go, where it needs to turn or go through, where the gates will be, how much power I'll need. All was thought out.

My right eye opened. "Growth." Using this while my eye is opened means that the power obtained by opening it, the three times power boost, will be boosted again and be twice the first boost. That means, my power gets increased by six times.

There's also a skill that was left behind by black death. Overheat. He used it when he took over my body. While activated, steam comes from my mouth and I get a 50% power boost. In total, nine times the original. The definition overpowered. I was ready.

"Create object."

The ground shook. Birds escaped from the shaking trees. A grumbling noise kept getting louder and louder. These were the observations made by the people in Relvina, the town which goes through the border. Half was in Aetheria, the other in Havvothj'air.

The ground shaking intensified. Hanging objects began to fall. People began to loose their balance. Others screamed in confusion. The knights on top of the city walls looked at the direction where the disturbance was coming from.

None could believe their eyes. Others even dropped their weapons in absolute terror.

"QUICKLY! SOUND THE ALARMS!." Some ran to where the bells were, one took fire arrows and shot them in the sky. Three in total at the same time. Both gigantic bells in the middle of the city and those at the gates began ringing.

They were loud. Everyone ran to their homes. There was panic among the citizens.

"What's happening?!" The night commander asked a soldier who was at the top of the wall.

"Something is approaching from the west!" He said in terror. "Something big!"

"What?!"

"I don't know! But it might come through the city. Its going fast and..." He didn't finish talking.

The man was interrupted by a huge explosion like sound coming from the west side. Without even looking clearly, they felt a massive object pass by in the middle of the city. Civilians were smashed. Some were even severed apart. A great force of wind came with the object.

The commander looked at it. Then his legs became weak. "Oh merciful goddess... Why?"

Behold. In front of him was a massive wall, bigger than their own. The wall was moving at lightning speed. It moved like a snake, defying what is possible. The wall continued. It travelled along the border.

From far, it looked like a comet because of all the dust. Some people saw it from a distance. They couldn't believe their eyes. Not only because of the speed, but the size and the force too.

For thirty hours. the wall moved. From the west to the north east. The continent was divided. Witnesses feared the phenomena. Those who saw it only ran with one thing in their mind.

Its the end of the world.
