I was in the room yelling for Brax. They still had me restrained, however they had allowed me to speak.
So naturally, I used the move Shan taught me, so I could speak with him without others hearing me.
Only, I wasn't getting a response from Brax. Even though I tried to specifically project my voice to Brax I got no answer. Was he even able to answer since he was only a shadow assassin?
I tried projecting my voice across every room in the area, hoping to hear someone, anyone at all.
Nonetheless I wasn't even getting a response from another potential demon-assassin or anything. No one yelled back or answered my call.
"Wait your turn Kamelio, we'll be calling on you soon." A voice spoke on the intercom, laughing at me before disconnecting.
"Who was that…?" I wondered aloud to myself. The voice that spoke wasn't the principal's voice. In fact it wasn't even a guy speaking, it was a woman.
As confused as I was, I understood this meant there was someone else who watched the cameras.
Or at least they were watching them right now. So it might be daytime and the principal might be continuing his facade.
Or it might be nighttime and he might be experimenting on someone. No matter how I thought about it, it would be easier to find out this places secrets now.
What better way to shut something down than to do it from the inside.
*Beeeeep*
A loud beep sounded and a heard what sounded like a gate opening. Then I heard slow heavy footsteps, sounding almost militant.
I stilled my breathing and tried to steady my growing nerves. The presence of these newfound people brought chills down my spine.
However, it also excited me. I loved to fight, so naturally I would enjoy witnessing a strong enemy make their presence.
I continued to listen to their every movement until the footsteps stopped.
"This is the one." I heard Principal Warren's voice.
"Open it." A deep dark voice sounded causing alarm bells to ring in my head once more.

-open the damn door-
-HURRY THE FU-
"Sorry Warren, I didn't realize my power was active." The deep dark voice sounded again. "I hope I haven't caused too much trouble."
"Were you testing me Deangelo? Don't forget who gave you that power." Warren said oddly without opening the door.
His tone of voice was low yet extremely hostile. Which is new because personally I have never seen him that way.
"Your father gave me this power. You had no part in it whatsoever. However, respect is earned not given, I don't care who your father is." The dark voice spoke again not seeming to have a care in the world. All I could do was sit here trapped and powerless to change it for the time being.
"We'll talk about this later." Warren said before opening the door
Once the door was opened two people walked in. Warren came in first, and then came in another man.
Well, he sounded like a man he looked like a monster. His eyes were pitch black all around. His face and body was scarred with a body full of scars.
You could tell he was someone with a arduous backstory.
"Kamelio! You look just like your father." The man said after he walked in the room.
"Huh? What relationship do you have with my pops?" I asked immediately becoming even more vigilant. His statement seriously put me on alert and for very good reason.
If he and my father had a good relationship in the past he might help me out for old times sake. Simply because he knew my father.
However if he and my father had a bad or violent history with one another…
I didn't want to think about what that meant for me. Especially being that I was already in a very precarious situation.
"That doesn't matter now, it was a long time ago. But I know the relationship me and you are gonna have." He smiled eerily at me before turning around.
"Bring this one to the lab." Warren said turning around and walking with Deangelo
Suddenly the men outside the room walked in and grabbed me. I heard a ding from the back of my chair and then they began rolling me out the door.
"What do think about the place Kamelio?" He raised his hands out in front of him, as if he was showing me this hall for the first time.
However, this was the same hall I ran down as I was looking for Brax.
"I dont like it." I stated quietly deciding to bide my time. I had no idea what to do for once. Warren had fully and completely outsmarted me.
"Yeah well, you'll learn to love it." Warren said before they brought me through to the gate at the end of the hall. The gate said prison so I knew where I was going.
But if they were gonna experiment on me then why were we in the prison, and not the lab?
As they continued pushing my chair down the hall I saw gates lining both sides of the hall. Oddly enough, most of them were empty.
I probably only saw around 5 people who were actually confined behind those bars.
"Got another one for me?" A man standing at a counter with a clipboard had suddenly addressed them.
Was this their doctor?
I looked at his face trying to take a mental note of what he looked like. I had to make sure he would get what's coming to him later on as well. All of these sick people should pay for what's happening here.
"Indeed, this is Kamelio. Kamelio this is the doctor. He's all yours doc!" Warren looked happy, he was damn near smiling from ear to ear.
"Kamelio huh? I've heard of you, we've been expecting your arrival for a long time now." The Doctor said as he went to open the door.
"If I was you I'd play nice. Doc hates a violent patient." Warren whispered in my ear before walking away.
The strange man named Deangelo looked at me for a moment more, before he too left.
And just like that, I was in the care of a man who wanted to experiment on me.
What could go wrong..
