I ran through the door heading back to where I was being held before the experiment.
I doubt Brax was in the same room as last time. Still, this was as good a place as any to start looking for him.
I snuck around quietly listening to everything around me. I could hear people chatting and walking around. However one particular conversation caught my attention.
"How come we're still guarding this guy?" Someone just around the corner said complaining about his current occupation.
"I don't know man, we've already captured the main target. I don't understand why we're letting this guy live this long." I peeked around the corner and saw them. There were two men in camo clothing guarding a steel door.
The one that was speaking was holding a handgun of some kind. Whilst the other was holding an assault rifle.
Noticing they were using guns not knives threw a wrench in my plans. However I adapted quickly and started formulating a plan of action.
First I would throw a kunai at both of them aiming for their thumbs. I didn't need both of them, just the one on their dominant hand.
Then I would execute them. I made sure to make a mental note of this situation though. Next time I will have a few guns myself.
I swung around the corner quickly yet quietly. Immediately executing the plan.
The knives flew from my hands, slicing through the air with a swoosh.
Do to their proximity to the corner, I didn't have to worry about missing.
"AHHHH"
"What the fuck!"
They screamed as their thumbs fell to the floor. Their removed fingers still oozing blood from the wounds.
They tried to swap their hold on their guns to shoot with their left hand.
But naturally I wouldn't give them any time to do so.
I ran forward quickly throwing another knife at the guard closest to me. It penetrated his forehead causing him to drop on the spot.
The other one finally had the gun in his other hand. But he wasn't proficient with his left and since it was impossible to hold it with his right he dropped it.
"Fuck fuck fu-" He swung at me but I casually blocked it shoving my kunai into his heart and twisting it.
Then I picked up my weapons and wiped the blood off using their shirts.
This wouldn't be reported unless they wanted to go down with me. So I'll admit I decided to be a little reckless.
I grabbed their guns as well, deciding that I would put them to good use since they already had silencers on them.
I peeked through the window and saw Brax on a table unconscious.
I tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge.
"Of course it's locked." I whispered mentally facepalming.
I kneeled down and began searching the bodies for a key.
I found a total of 4 items from the two of them; A wallet, a pocket knife, a keychain without any keys, and piece of paper.
Curiously I unfolded the piece of paper and saw it was a sequence of numbers.

I looked back at the door and noticed the lock was key shaped. However there was also a keypad on the wall next to it.
I input the code into the system and the door immediately opened while making a VERY LOUD beeping sound.

"Fuck that was loud we gotta get out of here." I thought aloud as I rushed inside to get Brax.
I ran up to where he was laying and shook him awake.
"It doesn't matter what you do I'll never tell you anything." Brax said refusing to open his eyes.
"What? Brax come on it's me!" I shook him again but he didn't open his eyes or respond this time.
I looked around trying to see what I could find that could help me. But no matter where I looked I grew more confused.
They had a computer in the corner of the room so I sat down and began looking through it.
There were folders full of files however most of the actualy files were empty.
However they had one particular file that actually caught my attention. It said Information on student K with a abbreviated version next to it in parentheses.

All it said on this file was associate refused to cooperate / operation failed.
"What the hell…?" I thought aloud while looking at the computer.
I was at a standstill. I had no idea how to wake him up.
But I saw a shut down system option on the computer. So I tried it hoping for the best but alas it didn't work either.
Fortunately I knew how to shut down the computer. So I shut it down and when I did the visor over his eyes dimmed in brightness and it detached from his eyes, sliding off his face.
I stood up shocked and slowly approached Brax as he laid there.
"Wha..? You finally let me out of that simulation! I'll kill you!!!" Brax screamed jumping up and spinning around to face me.
But the moment he saw me he froze.
"I would never leave you Brax. I'm sorry I took so long to save you. They had captured me too." I said scratching my head. An awkward silence followed after that but I quickly ended it. Urging Brax towards the door so we could escape.
As I ran out the door with Brax following closely behind me I saw him.
Principal Warren was down the hall talking to a security guard about something. He began pointing in our direction before slapping the guard.
Then he pulled a gun and shot him twice in the chest. Tucking his gun he looked back up the hall angrily and upon seeing me he pulled a radio.
"Brax you gotta get the hell out of here don't worry about me!" I I screamed slightly pushing Brax away from Warren and towards where I first entered at.
However he wouldn't budge.
"No way! I'm not leaving without you! You didn't leave me here to die so why would I leave you?" He yelled balling his fists and pulling out two twin daggers.
However his expression faded from anger to fear.
I followed his gaze and saw none other than Deangelo making his way towards us.
I had no idea where principal Warren ran off to.
"JUST GO!!! The code is 2673 hurry up!!!" I urged Brax more and he finally listened. Taking off running towards the door I pointed towards.
It was the door to the elevator. It would lead him to safety.
Then I turned back around towards Deangelo. I knew It was time to finally face the man my father had a history with.
