Chapter 47 - Odin

"Well, this isn't right." But no matter how hard Tohka tried, the hammer only wobbled and then remained still.

"Forget it, looks like no one can lift this hammer." Seeing Tohka exhausted and panting, yet still looking incredibly cute, Coulson could only laugh and offer some comforting words. After all, who knows about this thing? They hadn't been 100% sure either.

"Wait a second, don't come over." At that moment, Tohka called out to Coulson who was about to approach. Just now, she had clearly felt the hammer move a little, and then looked at her hands. She almost slapped herself, "I'm such an idiot, why did I have to use strength? This thing can't be lifted by pure brute force."

After coming to her senses, Tohka immediately summoned her spirit armor. Then everyone saw a flash of light, and Tohka appeared before them, clad in blue and purple armor, exuding heroic energy. Although it wasn't the first time they'd seen Tohka in this armor, Coulson still couldn't help but marvel.

"Let's see if I can't lift you, you bastard." After muttering that, Tohka grabbed the hammer again. This time, she didn't try to lift it; instead, she poured all her spiritual energy into the hammer. If it had been any other weapon from Earth, even Tony's armor would have exploded by now. However, there was no reaction from the hammer; at least, Coulson couldn't see anything with his naked eyes. But in the control room above, the energy fluctuations inside the room were increasing rapidly.

At the same time, the originally clear sky suddenly became overcast, with thunder and lightning flashing. Meanwhile, Thor, who was drinking in a nearby town, ran out and looked up at the scene in disbelief. He had already felt the godly power of thunder surging within him, but what scared him the most was that he realized his power was being gradually suppressed. After all, the godly power of thunder was one of the top powers in all of Asgard, yet at this moment, it was being suppressed by someone.

"My God, she really lifted it." Others might not know, but Coulson, who was closest to Tohka, was knocked to the ground by the gust of wind created by her. As for the guards on the second floor, they were each gripping the railing tightly to avoid being blown away by the storm. They could clearly see that the hammer was slowly rising from the original mound, gradually being lifted by Tohka.

Tohka didn't know about others, but she knew that the godly power of thunder residing within the hammer was being gradually suppressed by her. After all, the conditions to lift the hammer were either gaining the approval of the God of Thunder's power or conquering it.

What excited Tohka was that her spirit power was ranked higher than the God of Thunder's power. As her energy slowly infused, the resistance of the hammer became smaller. Just as she was about to lift the hammer, suddenly a much larger force surged out, directly clashing with her power. The force was so sudden that Tohka had no time to react, and her hands instinctively let go. The hammer fell back to its original position, and Tohka was thrown to the ground by the force, while all the recorders in the area exploded.

At this moment, Thor, not far away, let out a sigh of relief because the power sealed within him had finally returned to normal. Then, at that moment, several people appeared in front of him, and they were none other than his subordinates from Asgard.

At that moment, Odin, deep within the core palace of Asgard, suddenly opened the single remaining eye. His pupil shifted slightly, as if it had crossed the universe and looked directly at Tohka on Earth.

Then, his lips moved slightly, and he uttered three words: "Kabbalah," before closing his eyes again. It was unclear whether he fell asleep or was thinking about something.

All of this happened in the blink of an eye, and even the queen beside him didn't notice.

"Huff, huff, huff." At that moment, Tohka let go of the hammer and sat on the ground, wiping her cold sweat. What just happened really scared her to death.

"Is this Odin's power? The movies really lied. It's terrifying. With that idiot Loki, there's no way to defeat Odin." Just when she was about to tame the godly power of thunder, Odin's power suddenly surged and disrupted her own.

On one hand, it came so suddenly that Tohka couldn't react in time, and on the other hand, it was due to Odin's overwhelming power. As for her own power compared to Odin's, Tohka wasn't sure, but the kingly power that had been passed down in Asgard for generations was far too intimidating.

At least in terms of sheer magnitude, it surpassed her own power by far. And just now, she felt like she was being stared at by a one-eyed, white-haired, dignified old man. As for who this person was, Tohka immediately realized it was Odin.

"Are you okay, Miss Tohka? What just happened? You were clearly about to lift it!" At that moment, Coulson hurriedly ran over and helped Tohka up. Just as Tohka was about to lift the hammer, something unexpected happened.

The explosion of energy at the end scared him quite a bit, but thankfully, the energy only aimed to repel Tohka, not to attack. Otherwise, everyone here would have been in danger. After all, except for Tohka, everyone else, including him and Hawkeye, was still within the realm of ordinary humans. There was no way they could have survived such a situation.

"It's nothing. At least I know who the owner of this hammer is. Also, are you sure you really want me to lift this hammer?" Tohka, who had been helped up by Coulson, took a deep breath before continuing, "I know who the owner of this hammer is."

"Who is it?" Upon hearing this, Coulson immediately asked. After all, this was important information, and he needed to record it no matter what.

"Thor, the God of Thunder who governs war and agriculture in Norse mythology, and also the eldest son of Odin, the Father of All Gods. This hammer belongs to him, and the power that sent me flying earlier was the Odin's power attached to this hammer. Oh my God, guess what? I actually saw the chief god of Norse mythology, Odin, just now. Tsk tsk, it's amazing."
