For Ryousuke, it was a new beginning, he had been escorted to Konoha with Kushina after the extermination of his clan.
He was not a ninja, he was a writer in the land of whirlpools. Six years ago, and, at 6 years old, he had awakened the entertainment system, for anything he wrote, made or produced, he got a reward and how much hearts were touched added on to the reward.
For six years, his progress has been slow, he wasn't a mangaka, just an occasional book reader, his song selections had been extensive but he had to remember them to actually make something out of them, and forget about movies, how long will it take him to make something like that!
Except him, so far he's written 3 books, a book every 2 years, so the progress has been a little slow although people might argue otherwise.
He's now at an elite chuunin level, but his speed and sealing jutsu are exceptional making him potentially a special jonin.
For him, coming to Konoha can be said to be a boon.
But no-one can quantify the value of his closed ones dying, he was here for six years after all, he was treated good by everyone in the Uzumaki clan, he of course made bonds, tried to change minds, sometimes even with his books.
But at the end of the day, stubborn old people are stubborn old people.
He obviously had some resentment about Konoha just sitting back and reaping what they left behind.
But for now, he can't do anything.
Now that, he has been forced to take the graduation exam, he will just lie low after he gets his team.

" Alright, that's fine."
I say as I leave the Konoha publishing company.
My cut was 6%, not too bad, I guess? I'm not well known here, and they see me as just a kid wearing a mask.
If the book wasn't good, they might have not listened to me very seriously. I think this was enough for today, tomorrow is the day, teams get assigned, so it's going to be a big day.
It doesn't matter though, I'll lie low no matter who my sensei is.
Because in time, from the ashes of Uzushio, the new shall arise, and with all it's unyielding might, come forth to the redemption of the old.
Until then, I shall wait. And watch.
