"Roar!" The one who knocked Abomination down was none other than the Hulk, whom everyone had temporarily forgotten. It seemed he had just rested for a while and regained a lot of strength. He quickly made his way over and slammed into Abomination, knocking him down.
"Is this the real Hulk?" At that moment, Tohka noticed that Hulk's power had increased significantly. She could clearly feel a faint energy surrounding him, and that energy was slowly increasing. Tohka knew that as Hulk's energy recovered and strengthened, it would become much more difficult for her to fight him. At least her current sword would no longer be able to easily injure him.
As expected, Hulk was no longer at a disadvantage in his battle with Abomination. In fact, he grew stronger and eventually completely overpowered him.
"Roar!" Hulk let out a roar and slowly but surely subdued Abomination. Then, he did something that surprised Tohka. He walked behind Abomination, pinned his arms, rendering him immobile, and turned his chest toward Tohka.
"I see now, it seems Dr. Banner is controlling the Hulk." Understanding the situation, Tohka descended from the air, wielding her sword, and drove it straight through Abomination's chest.
"Roar!" Abomination let out a scream. Even with his heart pierced, he didn't die immediately. Instead, he struggled desperately, attempting a final attack. Seeing this, Tohka quickly stepped off his chest and jumped backward. As she did, her sword naturally left Abomination's chest, and green blood erupted from the wound like a fountain.
"Roar!" Stimulated by the blood, Abomination's struggle grew more intense. He even broke free from Hulk's grip and charged toward Tohka with all his might. His hatred for Hulk had completely shifted to her. He only knew that if it weren't for this damn little bug in front of him, his goal would be complete. Now, he just wanted to drag Tohka down with him.
"Tch, dying struggles?" Tohka glanced at Abomination charging toward her. She had no intention of battling this dying beast. So, she bent her knees and leapt into the air, watching Abomination below.
"Roar." Seeing the little bug flying away, Abomination realized that he could no longer do anything about her. He let out a frustrated roar, his vision blurred, and then collapsed to the ground, losing his life. Green blood flowed from his chest, staining the ground.
"It's over. You alright, big guy?" Looking at the fallen Abomination, Tohka knew the battle was finished. She relaxed, then jumped down and greeted Hulk.
"Little girl, thank you." Looking at Tohka as she landed, Hulk greeted her with his deep, rugged voice. He was grateful for her appearance, as without her, that last moment might have been deadly for everyone except him.
However, at that moment, the sound of footsteps approached. A group of well-equipped U.S. soldiers emerged from the surrounding streets, surrounding the two of them. Their weapons were aimed at both Hulk and Tohka.
"Tch, a bunch of Monday quarterbacks." Tohka paused for a moment but didn't say anything else. For one, she wasn't sure if their weapons could even harm her, and besides, they weren't aiming at her—they were focused on Hulk, who was standing next to her. Even though Hulk had helped her deal with Abomination, the military had suffered considerable casualties trying to capture him earlier. So, they remained cautious of him, but they didn't attack, as General Ross hadn't given the order yet.
"Alright, everyone stand down, you can leave now." At that moment, General Ross walked over with Coulson. His expression was grim, not just because the whole city now knew about the situation, but also because he could see there would be significant casualties and property damage, especially considering how many U.S. soldiers had been hit by Abomination. All of this was his responsibility. He knew his military career was over, and he was lucky not to be sent to a military tribunal. On top of that, he had been outmaneuvered by S.H.I.E.L.D., who had been watching him the whole time. But since they had saved him, Ross couldn't say much. And his daughter... All in all, Ross was feeling the pressure, but it was not the right time to make a move on Hulk. Although it looked like Tohka could stop Hulk, she was part of S.H.I.E.L.D., and he knew she wouldn't intervene to help him.
"Alright, it looks like you have no more problems. Well then, farewell, Hulk."
Seeing this, Tohka took the initiative to bid farewell to Hulk, considering it a send-off to her temporary comrade-in-arms.
"Goodbye, little girl." Hearing Tohka's words, Hulk gave a heartfelt glance at General Ross's daughter before leaving. However, Tohka knew that there would likely be no conclusion between the two. Not to mention, in future movies, Hulk's girlfriend was replaced by Black Widow. The main issue was Dr. Banner's identity. Hulk was an unstable factor, and for normal people, even a small mistake could lead to casualties.
"Well done, Consultant Tohka." (Just to clarify, the former agent role was not suitable. I didn't think much about it when I first wrote it, but after being reminded by the comments, I've made the change here. From now on, she will be referred to as a consultant.)
"So, this is Stark's daughter, huh? First time meeting you, I'm Thaddeus 'Thunder' Ross. I never expected Tony to have such an impressive daughter. Looks like you'll probably be on the front page of the newspaper tomorrow. You're going to be a big star soon." Seeing Tohka, General Ross took the initiative to greet her. After all, she had saved him, and it was clear that she was a helper sent by S.H.I.E.L.D., which had not been involved in this mess, so his expression softened, and he even joked a little.
"Mm?" Hearing Ross's words, Tohka finally noticed the situation around her. The people who had hidden due to the battle were now coming out, and a swarm of reporters had arrived. Tohka realized that all the cameras were pointed at her. After all, amidst a group of modern soldiers, her retro-style armor was incredibly conspicuous.
"What the fuck." Tohka was a bit stunned, wondering how things had ended up like this.
