"You know which one?" Asked a warrior.
The rogue pointed to someone.
"The one in the middle."
Hearing the rapid approaching footsteps of the warrior speaking with the rogue, cold sweat instantly broke out on Aurelia's forehead.
The closer the person got, the more she tensed.
As he drew an inch closer, her eyes darted around, quickly scanning for an escape route.
Surely, half the warriors in the residence had come running the moment they heard there was a rogue around.
So, running and scaling the fence would be easier… as long as there was no one was waiting for her once she landed outside the walls.
The plan had just formed in her head, her heart palpitating harder than ever, when the warrior brushed shoulders with her, his outstretched hand yanking the unsuspecting maid in front of her.
Suddenly shoved to her knees before Carmen, the maid's eyes quivered uncontrollably.
"I-It's not me! I was born and raised here in Cinder Pack!"
