"Fine woman, whatever you want to buy, just tell me and I'll help you look for it." A bubbly voice suddenly piped up behind her.
Aurelia didn't turn around as she was too preoccupied with a dent on the wall she just noticed.
Running her fingers over it, her gaze dimmed slightly.
Why did it feel so familiar? Had she, perhaps, made this dent during one of her past exploits into the city?
"Good Miss, are you having second thoughts about what to buy? If it's the cost, you have nothing to worry about, I'll get you whatever you want at half the price!" The person spoke up again, stepping toward her.
Finally, she deeply exhaled and took a step back, turning her head to glance at the speaker.
It was a shabbily dressed boy, likely in his mid-teens.
Though he had tried his best to appear neat, the numerous holes in his clothes betrayed the truth, he wasn't what he was trying to sell.
Noticing her gaze, his cheeks pulled back into a wary smile.
