Sitting on a tall rock in the middle of the forest, Axton had his back turned to the rustling leaves behind him.
After a while, frightened groaning filled the air as a dirty, brown-eyed rogue was forced to his knees by Ronan, his hands bound behind him and his mouth taped shut.
"What do you think?" Axton suddenly questioned without glancing behind him.
Ronan glanced around, his furrowed brows relaxing slightly.
"It's been seventeen hours and this is the first rogue we're seeing in the forest. Chances are, they've already left and moved on to another one."
The words were yet out of his mouth when Axton exhaled, "I was asking the rogue."
The rogue's eyes instantly widened as Ronan promptly stepped forward and ripped the tape from his mouth.
"M-me? What could my lord possibly be asking me?" He sputtered fearfully, his eyes cautiously traveling up Ronan's unsmiling face.
Axton raised his eyes toward the sky and grunted in amusement.
