A sleek black Audi A7 rolled up in front of the Stacy residence, the headlights casting a soft glow over the driveway. The car was elegant but not excessive, exuding a refined yet understated class—perfect for the occasion.
Nova stepped out, adjusting the cuffs of his well-fitted black suit. The tailored outfit gave him a sharp, confident look, paired with a dark blue tie that added just a touch of contrast. A suit for prom? Absolutely. If he was going to do this, he was going to do it right.
Taking a steady breath, he walked up to the door and knocked twice.
A moment later, the door swung open, revealing Captain George Stacy standing in the doorway. The man had an unmistakable presence—broad-shouldered, upright, and exuding an air of quiet authority. His sharp gaze immediately locked onto Nova, scrutinizing him the way only a protective father and seasoned police captain could.
"Nova," he greeted, his voice calm but firm. "You're here for Gwen?"
"Yes, sir," Nova replied respectfully. "Is she ready?"
Before Captain Stacy could say anything else, the sound of heels clicking against hardwood floors drew both of their attention.
And then, Gwen Stacy stepped into view.
She was stunning.
Dressed in an elegant, sleeveless white gown with soft silver accents, the fabric hugged her figure gracefully before flowing down to just above her ankles. Her golden blonde hair was styled in a way that framed her face perfectly, and a delicate silver necklace rested just above her collarbone. Her signature confidence shone in her blue eyes, but there was a subtle hint of excitement too.
Nova, for all his usual composure, found himself momentarily at a loss for words.
Gwen smirked. "Speechless? I'll take that as a compliment."
Nova chuckled, shaking his head. "I was trying to think of something other than 'wow.'"
Captain Stacy cleared his throat, making it very clear that, while he wasn't opposed to the interaction, he was still very much present.
"You've got a curfew," he reminded Gwen, then looked at Nova. "And I expect you to bring her back safely."
Nova met his gaze with a steady nod. "You have my word, sir."
Gwen rolled her eyes but smiled, stepping forward to take Nova's arm. "Alright, alright, let's go before you start grilling him for my entire life story."
Nova led her toward the car, opening the passenger door for her. Gwen raised an eyebrow. "Oh? A gentleman now?"
"Only when it counts," Nova teased before closing the door behind her and making his way to the driver's seat.
As he started the engine, he cast one last glance toward the house. Captain Stacy was still standing there, watching.
With a quiet chuckle, Nova shifted gears, and the Audi smoothly pulled away from the driveway, heading toward a night they would both remember.
-----
The smooth purr of the Audi A7's engine cut through the quiet night air as Nova and Gwen cruised through the city. The car's interior was bathed in a soft blue glow from the dashboard, casting flickering reflections over Gwen's white gown. Outside, the city lights blurred into streaks of gold and red, adding a cinematic touch to their late-night drive.
Gwen stretched her legs slightly, adjusting the silky folds of her dress before glancing at Nova with a teasing smirk.
"So, is this how you impress girls? Fancy car, sharp suit, smooth driving?"
Nova smirked, eyes steady on the road as he flicked on the turn signal.
"You tell me. Is it working?"
Gwen hummed, tilting her head as if considering. "Mmm… maybe a little."
Nova chuckled, shaking his head. "Only a little? Harsh."
She grinned, shifting in her seat to face him more directly. "The car's nice. The suit? A solid choice. But the real test is—" she suddenly reached forward and flicked his tie "—how well you handle playful sabotage."
Nova let out a mock gasp, glancing down at his slightly crooked tie before flashing her a lopsided grin.
"You're lucky you're pretty, Gwen. Otherwise, I'd be reconsidering this whole prom thing."
She laughed, the sound light and genuine. "Oh please, you asked me, remember?"
Nova raised a brow. "Did I?"
Gwen narrowed her eyes playfully. "You are not about to gaslight me into thinking I asked you first."
Nova smirked, his voice dropping to a low, teasing murmur. "I don't know, Gwen. Maybe you just couldn't resist my undeniable charm."
She rolled her eyes but couldn't quite fight the small flush creeping up her neck. "Uh-huh, sure. Keep telling yourself that."
Nova stole a quick glance at her, noting the way the streetlights reflected in her bright blue eyes. There was something mesmerizing about her tonight, beyond just the dress and makeup.
"You know… you clean up really well."
Gwen arched a brow. "Only 'really well'? Not 'stunning'? Not 'breathtaking'?"
Nova chuckled. "Now who's gaslighting who?"
She smirked, crossing her arms. "I just like hearing it."
Nova shook his head with an amused smile. "Fine. You're stunning, breathtaking, and quite possibly the best-looking person I'll be dancing with tonight."
Gwen pretended to think about it, tapping her chin. "Hmm. I guess that'll do."
Nova let out an exaggerated sigh. "Tough crowd."
She laughed again, the warmth in her voice making the moment feel even more alive.
"Alright, alright, I'll admit it. You're not bad yourself."
Nova placed a hand over his heart dramatically. "I'm honored."
Gwen shook her head, a small smile tugging at her lips. "This is gonna be fun, isn't it?"
Nova shot her a sideways glance, his smirk deepening.
"Oh, you have no idea."
With that, the Audi A7 glided smoothly down the road, the bright city lights guiding them toward a night neither of them would forget.

Prom Venue – Entrance
The black Audi A7 pulled into the venue's parking lot, its polished exterior gleaming under the bright lights. Outside, the energy was electric—groups of students posed for pictures, laughter filled the air, and the thumping bass from inside hinted at the excitement waiting beyond the doors.
Nova parked near the entrance and turned to Gwen, watching as she made a final adjustment to her sleeveless white gown with silver accents in the mirror.
"You ready?" he asked, smirking.
She shot him a confident look. "I was born ready."
Nova chuckled, stepping out and circling the car to open her door. Gwen raised a brow but accepted his offered hand, stepping out with effortless grace.
Waiting nearby were Peter Parker and Michelle, dressed sharply for the occasion. Peter's well-fitted black tux made him look far more put-together than usual, though he still fidgeted like he wasn't used to it.
Meanwhile, Michelle, in a navy blue dress, wore her usual unimpressed expression—though Nova caught a slight, almost hidden smile.
"Took you guys long enough," Peter joked.
Nova smirked. "Blame traffic." Then he leaned in and spoke quitely," And someone needing to check the mirror a hundred times."
Gwen rolled her eyes, hit him with her elbow and said," I heard that."
Before they could continue, a sleek silver sports car pulled up—Harry Osborn and Liz Allan had arrived. Harry, exuding his usual confidence, stepped out in a deep navy suit, while Liz, in a shimmering red dress, looped her arm through his with practiced ease.
"Alright, we're all set," Harry said, glancing around.
"Not yet," Peter pointed out. "We're missing Ned."
Right on cue, a black sedan rolled up, revealing Ned Leeds and Betty Brant. Ned stepped out grinning, looking way too pleased with himself in his charcoal-gray suit, while Betty, in an elegant light blue dress, smiled as she linked her arm with his.
"Guys!" Ned called out excitedly. "You're not gonna believe this, but our driver—total legend—said he once picked up Tony Stark for a premiere!"
Betty sighed, amused. "Ned, I think he just said Tony. He didn't say Stark."
"I choose to believe," Ned declared dramatically, making Peter chuckle.
With everyone finally gathered, the last pair arrived—Mary Jane and Felicia Hardy.
MJ's crimson dress hugged her curves, her auburn hair falling in waves over her bare shoulders. Felicia, in a sleek white gown with a slit that rode just high enough to tease, exuded confidence with every step.
Felicia's eyes swept over the group, her smirk playful. "Damn, all dressed up and nowhere fun to go?"
MJ hummed, twirling a strand of hair. "Depends. What's everyone's after-party looking like?" Her gaze flicked between Nova and Gwen, lingering just enough to make them squirm. "Hotel? No parents? Soft sheets? Late checkout?" Then she turned to Gwen and got a teasing smile," Chocolate flavored? Or maybe… milkshake flavored?"
Felicia's grin widened as she turned to Nova, her voice dripping with mischief. "Oh, definitely milkshake flavored. Our Gwen loves milkshakes. So, be a dear and buy milkshake-flavored condo—"
Before she could finish, Gwen's hands shot up, clamping over Felicia's mouth, her face burning.
"Nope! We are not finishing that sentence," Gwen declared, glaring at the two troublemakers.
MJ giggled, biting her lip. "Aww, she's flustered. That's adorable."
Michelle crossed her arms. "I'm about two seconds away from walking back out that door."
MJ gave her half sister a look and turned to Peter and said," You know Peter, my sister's a screamer. I know that since I heard her fingeri...".
Michelle's eyes widened, and she immediately smacked MJ's arm. "Excuse me?!"
MJ just grinned, completely unfazed. "What? Just giving Peter a little insight. You know, in case things ever—"
"Finish that sentence and I will bury you alive," Michelle threatened, her face turning red.
Peter, for his part, choked on absolutely nothing, scrambling for words. "I—uh—what—no! That's—why would you even—"
Felicia cackled, leaning on her girlfriend. "Oh, this is fun. Keep going, MJ."
MJ smirked. "Oh, I'm just getting started." She turned to Gwen. "And don't think I forgot about you, milkshake girl."
Gwen groaned. "I will kill you both."
Nova shook his head, laughing. "I think we might need a referee at this rate."
Felicia winked. "Or a bigger hotel room."
Peter coughed, nearly stumbling. "Uh—"
Felicia grinned. "What, Parker? Never thought about it? Prom night's kinda a tradition, you know."
Nova raised an eyebrow. "You're really just saying it outright, huh?"
Felicia leaned in slightly, voice smooth. "Why not? We're all thinking it. Dancing, sweating, hotel rooms, then some intense se—".
Before she could finish, Gwen lunged, slapping her hand over Felicia's mouth again.
"Enough!" she hissed. "We are dancing now, and if either of you makes another comment, I'm spiking your drinks with soda instead of champagne."
Felicia's muffled laughter was all the confirmation Gwen needed that this was far from over.
Liz, rubbing her temples. "Oh my God, can you two not?"
Michelle deadpanned, arms crossed. "This is why we don't take you anywhere."
Betty shook her head, stifling a laugh. "Y'all are shameless."
Felicia placed a hand over her heart dramatically. "What? We're just embracing the spirit of the night."
MJ nudged her, voice teasing. "Besides, it's not our fault if someone's fantasizing already."
Peter went completely red. Gwen groaned. Nova smirked. Ned smiled shyly and Harry smirked.
Michelle gestured toward the venue. "Prom now. Whatever this conversation was? Never again."
Felicia sighed, looping an arm through MJ's. "They'll come around."
MJ chuckled. "Or we'll just lead the way."
With that Midtown ten and their dates all gathered, they headed toward the entrance, the night promising unforgettable memories. Inside, golden string lights illuminated the dance floor, and the music pulsed with anticipation.
Nova turned to Gwen, offering his hand. "Shall we?"
She smiled, intertwining her fingers with his. "Let's make this a night to remember."

Prom – Dance Floor
The venue was alive with energy—warm golden lights, a packed dance floor, and music thrumming through the air.
At the center of it all, Nova and Gwen moved in perfect sync. Her white dress flowed as she spun, his black suit crisp and well-fitted as he pulled her back into his arms.
That's when Nova noticed something.
Her body felt… different.
The spider bite had enhanced her physique beyond normal human limits, but her skin still felt soft, her body incredibly elastic under his grip.
Huh. Interesting.
If Gwen noticed his brief distraction, she didn't let it show. Instead, she smirked up at him.
"Something on your mind?"
Nova leaned in slightly, voice dropping to a teasing murmur.
" Yeah just processing that you love milkshake flavoured. Don't worry, I will buy it on the way to hotel."
