The wreckage shifted, and a low rumble echoed through the broken ballroom as dust and debris settled. Gwen, MJ, and Peter remained on edge, muscles taut, breaths shallow. Their eyes stayed locked on the ruins where Morlun had been buried.

Then—movement.

A chunk of collapsed ceiling rolled aside as something stirred beneath. A moment later, Morlun emerged, pushing aside broken stone and splintered wood with unsettling ease. He stepped forward, unfazed, his coat barely disheveled. His crimson eyes gleamed, his expression composed, almost amused.

"Impressive effort," he admitted, dusting off his sleeve. "But ultimately meaningless."

Peter exhaled sharply, flexing his fingers. "Of course it didn't work," he muttered. "Why would it ever work?"

Gwen shot him a glare. "Not helping, Pete."

Morlun took a slow step forward, the ground cracking beneath him. "Shall we end this charade?"

Peter didn't wait for an answer.

He moved first, pushing off the ground in a burst of speed. His web-shooters fired, two strands latching onto Morlun's shoulders as he yanked with all his strength. Morlun barely budged. Instead, he snapped one of the webs with a flick of his wrist before grabbing the other and pulling—hard.

Peter was yanked forward, barely twisting in time to land on his feet. Morlun struck instantly, a brutal backhand that sent him skidding across the debris-strewn floor.

MJ and Gwen moved next.

Ghost-Spider fired off a rapid volley of webbing, aiming for Morlun's face to blind him. MJ lunged from the side, swinging a length of steel rebar like a bat.

Morlun tore through the webbing mid-air, his hand blurring as he deflected each strand. He pivoted just as MJ's swing came down, catching the steel bar with his bare hand. His grip tightened—metal groaned—before he wrenched it from her grasp and sent it flying across the room.

MJ rolled under his counterattack, narrowly avoiding a swipe that would have caved in her ribs.

"Okay," she gasped, backing up toward Gwen. "New plan?"

Gwen didn't respond immediately. She was too busy trying to keep her distance, searching for an opening. Peter groaned as he pushed himself up, rubbing his jaw.

"Guys," he wheezed. "I think we—oof!"

Morlun slammed a foot into his gut, sending him flying again.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Underneath the rubble, the Omnitrix pulsed faintly.

Nova remained motionless, barely conscious, his body struggling to respond. Everything ached. His ribs burned with every breath.

[Host condition: critical. Scanning injuries.]

The words blinked across the Omnitrix's display, the interface shifting as it assessed.

[Damage detected: Internal bruising. Fractured ribs. Muscle strain.]

[Analyzing… Deploying regeneration function.]

A faint hum filled the air. Warmth spread from Nova's wrist, flowing through his veins like liquid energy. Pain dulled, muscles tightened, fractures mended. His breathing eased as his body repaired itself at an accelerated rate.

Above him, the battle raged on.

Gwen darted between the ruined pillars, dodging Morlun's pursuit. MJ was doing her best to stay out of reach, throwing whatever she could find—chunks of debris, metal rods, even a half-broken chair. Peter swung in again, a kick aimed at Morlun's head—only for Morlun to catch his foot mid-air and slam him into the ground.

"Ahhh—!"

[Regeneration complete. Stabilizing vitals.]

Nova's fingers twitched. Strength was returning. His mind cleared.

But the Omnitrix wasn't done.

[Analyzing current threat.]

It pulsed again, scanning the battlefield, assessing the danger.

[Selecting optimal countermeasure.]

Nova felt it—something shifting, aligning within him. His body tensed as the Omnitrix's dial twisted on its own.

Beep.

A surge of energy erupted from the rubble.

Bright green light exploded outward, bathing the entire room in an eerie glow. The air crackled with power.

Everyone stopped.

Gwen skidded to a halt, eyes widening as the light engulfed Nova's form. MJ took a step back, shielding her eyes from the sudden flare. Peter groaned from where he lay but forced himself to look.

Morlun stilled. His expression remained unreadable—but for the first time, he hesitated.

The light faded.

And Nova was no longer the same.

His body was encased in sleek, black armor, smooth yet metallic, with glowing green circuitry pulsing along its surface. Two thick cables extended from his back, their tips crackling with raw energy. His fingers twitched—electricity arced between them.

Gwen exhaled. "Nova…?"

Nova rolled his shoulders, the last remnants of pain completely gone. He clenched his fists, feeling power coursing through him.

"Yeah," he said, voice steadier, deeper. "It's me."

Peter let out a weak chuckle. "That's… new."

At the end, all of them looked surprised at Nova form, because previously he used human fusion mode, which gave him strength of four arms in human form, so despite him getting bulkier and tall he still looked human, but now? He looked different different.. something like an alien.

Gwen blinked hard, trying to process what she was seeing. One second, Nova had been buried under rubble, injured and struggling. The next, the a green light, a surge of energy filled the air, and now…

He was different. He was healed.

Not just bulkier or stronger like before. Different different.

The sleek black armor molded perfectly to his form, smooth yet segmented in a way that felt organic rather than mechanical. Vibrant green circuits pulsed along the surface. Two thick cables extended from his back, their tips sparking with electricity. His fingers flexed, and arcs of green lightning snapped between them.

He wasn't human anymore.

And from the stunned silence around him, the others knew it.

Nova looked up—only to find Gwen, Peter, and MJ staring at him like they had just seen a ghost.

Peter took an instinctive step back, eyes wide. "What the hell—?!"

MJ's jaw dropped slightly. "That… that didn't just happen, right?"

Ghost-Spider's breath caught in her throat. "Nova…?"

Her voice was hesitant, unsure—because whatever she was looking at right now wasn't the Nova she knew.

Before this, they had noticed his changes—how his strength had skyrocketed, how his body had become more muscular, his presence more imposing. But he had still looked human. Maybe a bit too perfect, like someone had dialed up his physique to peak condition, but human nonetheless.

But now?

Now, there was nothing human left.

His face, his skin, his entire structure—everything had changed. He was something else now, something undeniably alien.

Nova—now Feedback—exhaled, rolling his shoulders as the last remnants of his injuries faded. His fingers flexed, arcs of energy flickering between them. He could feel everything—the stray electrical currents in the air, the flickering lights, the faint pulses of electricity from the bodies of those around him. His senses had expanded beyond human limits.

"Yeah," he said, voice steady, though slightly altered, carrying an almost synthetic undertone. "It's me."

The Omnitrix let out one final chime.

"Transformation complete. Cellular regeneration successful."

Peter was still gaping at him. He blinked, as if trying to process what he was seeing. "Dude… you're not human anymore."

MJ slowly shook her head. "No kidding."

Gwen's eyes roamed over his form, searching for any trace of the Nova she had known minutes ago. "What are you?"

Nova flexed his hands again, feeling the hum of energy flowing through him. It wasn't just power—it was him.

"Feedback," he muttered, the name surfacing from the Omnitrix's data like an instinctive memory.

The air crackled around him as the circuitry on his body pulsed, drawing in stray energy. He could sense it all—like a living conduit, a breathing power grid.

Peter let out a slow breath. "Okay. That's… a lot."

Then—Morlun stirred.

The brief moment of curiosity on his face faded, replaced by cold calculation. His crimson eyes locked onto Nova, narrowing slightly. "And what, exactly, are you supposed to be now?"
