The sun had barely climbed the sky when everyone gathered in Harry Osborn's mansion, the morning light spilling into the lavish living room. After the chaos of the previous day, the group had finally gotten a chance to breathe. There was still an unspoken tension in the air—Morlun's threat lingered in their minds—but for now, they were together, safe, and trying to make sense of everything.
Then Spider-Man stood up, stretching his shoulders as he glanced around at the curious, waiting faces. With a small sigh, he reached up and grasped his mask. "I think it's time I properly introduce myself."
He pulled it off in one swift motion.
The man standing before them was familiar—yet not. He looked a little older than them, maybe around 22 or something? His features more refined, his frame slightly more muscular. His brown hair was unruly, sticking up in places, and his sharp, intelligent eyes held a weight that suggested experience—hard-fought battles, victories, and losses alike.
He exhaled, running a hand through his hair before saying simply, "My name is Peter Parker and yes, I am parallel counterpart of your Parker."
The room went dead silent.
For a moment, there was only the sound of a clock ticking somewhere in the background. Then, Peter Parker—their Peter Parker—let out an audible choke. His body went rigid as his eyes widened in sheer disbelief.
"What the hell?!" Peter's voice cracked as he shot to his feet, pointing a shaking finger at Spider-Man. His face was a mixture of shock, horror, and complete and utter bewilderment. "You—You look different, but your name is Peter Parker?!"
The weight of his words hit the group like a freight train.
Harry Osborn, who had been lounging on the couch, slowly leaned forward, his brows furrowing. "Wait… You're telling me that this guy—" He gestured at Spider-Man. "—is another Peter Parker?"
Liz's eyes flickered with sharp curiosity as she studied Spider-Man's face, comparing it with Peter's. "He is a Peter Parker," she murmured, her voice filled with a strange mix of fascination and disbelief. "But… not ours."
Betty, who had been jotting notes in her ever-present notebook, nearly dropped her pen. "Parallel world Peter Parker is Spider-Man, a superhero?! Cool!!!"
Ned's entire body stiffened before he leaned forward, staring at Spider-Man like he had just seen an alien land in their backyard. "No way. No freaking way."
Michelle, who had been sipping from her coffee mug, lowered it slowly, her gaze sharp and skeptical. "So, let me get this straight. In his world, Peter Parker isn't just some awkward, nerdy science guy?" She gestured vaguely toward her Peter. "He's a full-blown superhero?"
Spider-Man smirked, tilting his head. "Pretty much."
MJ crossed her arms, shifting her weight onto one leg as she gave Spider-Man a once-over. "Well, this is officially the weirdest thing I've ever seen."
Gwen exhaled heavily, rubbing her temples. "Multiverse shenanigans…"
Meanwhile, Peter Parker was still malfunctioning. His brain refused to process what he was looking at. His mouth opened, then closed, then opened again, but no words came out. His eyes flickered between Spider-Man's face, then his suit, then back to his face.
"You're—you're actually me?" Peter finally managed to get out, his voice barely above a whisper. "But—What? How?!"
Spider-Man let out a small chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck. "Long story, dude."
Felicia, who had been quietly observing, let out an amused hum, a smirk curling on her lips. "Well, this just got interesting."
Nova, arms crossed, smirked as he leaned against the wall. "Took you guys long enough to put the pieces together."
Peter groaned, dragging both hands down his face. "This is the weirdest day of my life."
Michelle snorted. "Parker, let's be real—your life was already weird."
Harry smirked, shaking his head. "I gotta admit, this is surreal. I mean, imagine waking up and finding out that some other version of yourself is running around in a tight suit, swinging from buildings."
Liz hummed thoughtfully. "It's both cool and a little creepy."
Betty shuddered. "I mean, yeah, but also—it's kind of insane how different they look. They're both Peter, but…" She gestured at Spider-Man. "You look older. More… serious?"
Ned, still struggling to form coherent words, just shook his head and flopped back onto the couch. "Man, this multiverse stuff is crazy."
Spider-Man, now fully enjoying their reactions, grinned as he crossed his arms. "You'll get used to it."
Harry, who had been processing everything at his own pace, suddenly turned to MJ and Gwen, pointing an accusatory finger at them. "Hold on—you two never told us that you're Ghost-Spider and Spider-Lady!"
His voice carried a mix of shock and mild betrayal, which immediately caught the attention of everyone else in the room.
Liz's eyes widened as she turned to face them fully. "Wait, what?!"
Betty let out a breathless laugh, shaking her head. "Oh, this just keeps getting better."
Michelle, who had initially been sipping her coffee with an air of boredom, now gave Gwen and MJ a narrowed-eyed stare. "You mean to tell me that, on top of everything else, you two have been swinging around New York as superheroes, and not once did you think to mention it?"
Gwen shifted slightly, running a hand through her hair as she sighed. "In our defense, it's not exactly something you just bring up in casual conversation."
MJ smirked, completely unbothered. "Yeah, imagine that conversation. 'Hey guys, pass the fries—by the way, I fight crime in my free time.'"
Betty, still trying to process the two revelations back-to-back, gestured wildly between the two of them. "So—so you're saying that for months, while we were all hanging out, this was happening?"
Liz let out an amused hum, tilting her head. "You know, it does explain why you two were always conveniently 'busy' or 'out of town' whenever something major went down."
Ned suddenly sat up, eyes huge with realization. "Oh my god. That's why MJ was always sneaking off at weird times! I thought she was just ditching us to make out with Felicia."
Peter nearly choked. "Excuse me?!"
MJ rolled her eyes but smirked. "Well, I was doing that too."
Liz pinched the bridge of her nose. "Okay, so let me get this straight. We have two Peters, of whom one is Spider-Man. Then we have two Spider-Girls, and a whole mess of secrets that have just been dumped on us?"
She let out an exasperated sigh, looking around at the group like she was struggling to process everything at once.
Suddenly, Felicia smirked and turned toward Nova. "Hey, you forgot our perverted Genie."
Nova groaned, rubbing his temples. "Why do I always get dragged into this?"
MJ arched an eyebrow, her smirk growing. "Because you are a perverted Genie?"
Betty grinned, nudging Nova. "Come on, grant us a wish, oh great and mighty Genie."
Nova shot her a flat look. "I hate you all."
Felicia let out a laugh, tossing her hair over her shoulder. "Oh, you love us."
Nova muttered under his breath but wisely chose not to engage.
Harry chuckled, shaking his head. "I swear, every time we get together, it just gets weirder."
Michelle crossed her arms, giving Nova a pointed look. "Okay, but for real—your wish-granting thing. How does that work?"
Nova exhaled, running a hand through his hair. "You just make a wish, and I decide whether to grant it or not. Also, the wish shouldn't be too overpowered or reality-breaking, or else it could backfire on me."
Spider-Man raised an eyebrow. "So you do have limits?"
Nova nodded. "Yeah. If a wish is too extreme, it could put me in a coma, or worse."
Gwen frowned. "Like last night?"
Nova sighed. "Yeah. If I'd granted the wish exactly as you said, I would've passed out."
Betty leaned forward, intrigued. "So what happens if you do push too far?"
Nova rubbed the back of his neck. "Best-case scenario? I get knocked out for a while. Worst case? I might never wake up."
The room went silent at that.
After a while, Spiderman asked," So if I wish to got home right now, can you directly send me to my home?"
Nova frowned for a few seconds, he raised an eyebrow and answered," Well I can send you back home without any problem."
Spider-Man blinked in surprise. "Just like that?"
Nova shrugged. "Yeah, just like that."
The room fell silent as everyone processed what he had just said.
Harry raised an eyebrow. "Isn't dimensional travel supposed to be difficult?"
Nova nodded. "It is difficult. But sending someone back to their home dimension is a lot easier than pulling them into another one. Your world already exists—I just need to lock onto it and open a stable path."
MJ crossed her arms. "And you're sure there's no risk?"
Nova smirked. "No more risk than stepping through a regular door. As long as Spider-Man walks through, he'll land exactly where he needs to be. No alternate timelines where everyone's a lizard, no weird reality shifts—just home."
Spider-Man let out a breath, rubbing the back of his neck. "Man, that's a relief. Not that I don't like you guys, but I've got my own world to protect."
Felicia smirked. "Aww, already tired of us?"
Spider-Man chuckled. "Let's just say my New York might fall apart if I'm gone too long."
Gwen leaned forward. "So… are you going to leave right away?"
Spider-Man hesitated, glancing at the group. "I mean, if Nova can do it now, I probably should. But if you guys don't mind, I'd like to stick around for a little longer."
Betty grinned. "Might as well stay for a proper send-off, right?"
Nova chuckled. "Take your time. When you're ready, just say the word, and I'll open the portal."
Spider-Man relaxed, nodding in appreciation. "Thanks. And, uh… thanks for everything, guys."
Spider-Man relaxed, nodding in appreciation. "Thanks. And, uh… thanks for everything, guys."
Suddenly, a thought struck him, and he turned to Nova with a curious expression. "Wait a second… how did you turn into that black alien? It was an alien, right?"
The room, which had started to settle, instantly refocused on Nova.
Michelle raised an eyebrow. "Alien?"
MJ nodded, smirking. "Oh yeah. Our perverted genie turned into some kind of energy-absorbing and energy-releasing alien that completely wrecked Morlun."
Ned's mouth fell open. "Wait, wait, wait—you're telling me Nova can turn into an alien? Since when was that a thing?"
Felicia leaned back, arms crossed, her smirk growing. "Oh, this just keeps getting better. What else have you been hiding, Nova?"
Nova sighed, rubbing his temples. He had been hoping to avoid this conversation for at least a little longer. But now, with everyone staring at him, waiting for an explanation, there was no escape.
He exhaled and finally admitted, "Yeah… it was an alien."
Peter Parker adjusted his glasses. "And you just casually have the ability to do that? Transform into aliens?"
Nova shrugged. "It's not casual—it's complicated."
Gwen narrowed her eyes. "Complicated how?"
Nova ran a hand through his hair before replying, "It's called a Kineceleran. It's an alien species that absorbs kinetic energy. The more force that hits me, the stronger I get. And when I release that energy… well, you saw what happened to Morlun."
Liz let out a low whistle. "So… you're telling me you get stronger the more people hit you?"
Nova nodded. "As long as I don't take too much damage at once, yeah. I can store up the energy and use it however I want."
Ned groaned dramatically. "That is so unfair."
Betty leaned forward. "Okay, but how do you turn into an alien? Is this some weird wish loophole?"
Nova hesitated before shaking his head. "No, this isn't related to my wish ability. This is something else."
Spider-Man crossed his arms. "Something else, huh? Sounds pretty secretive."
MJ arched an eyebrow, her smirk growing. "Our dear perverted genie is full of surprises, huh?"
Nova groaned. "I hate that nickname."
Felicia grinned. "Oh, honey, you earned it."
The teasing continued, but Gwen soon steered them back. "Okay, but seriously—how many aliens can you turn into?"
Nova hesitated, then smirked. "Wouldn't you like to know?"
A chorus of groans filled the room.
Michelle rolled her eyes. "Yeah, okay, keep your secrets. But don't think we're letting this go."
Nova chuckled. "Didn't expect you to."
