Chapter 1: The Abandoned Infant of Dragon Valley

Douluo Continent — an unknown valley.

Colorful clouds floated in the sky, and on the ground stood towering skeletal remains.

These skeletons exuded an ancient and primal aura, as if they came from a time long past.

Though only bones remained, their noble and domineering presence was still palpable.

"Waa… Waa!"

Suddenly, in the silence of the valley, the cry of an infant echoed.

From where the sound came, a dazzling nine-colored light shot up into the sky.

In an instant, the entire valley trembled violently.

From the sky, countless colorful clouds surged frantically toward the source of the nine-colored light.

Red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, black, gold — clouds of every color rushed over in a frenzy.

Even the skeletal remains that had been standing silently seemed to come alive.

Low, deep dragon roars rang out continuously, echoing throughout the entire valley.

And deep within the valley, another brilliant burst of nine-colored light exploded.

Two beams of nine-colored light seemed to respond to each other, growing ever more radiant.

No one knew how much time passed.

"Buzz!"

Suddenly, a hum rang out.

Above the valley, space tore open, revealing a pitch-black rift.

Then, a silver figure appeared silently from within the rift.

Suspended in the air, the silver figure wore a silver gown, her face hidden behind a silver veil, and her long silver-white hair cascaded down to her waist.

Her gaze shifted to the place where the clouds frenziedly gathered.

Soon, she caught sight of the radiant nine-colored light.

She was stunned for a moment — her violet eyes flashed with astonishment.

She immediately reached out her right hand, delicate and pure as the finest jade.

With a gentle motion, the nine-colored light flew into her hand.

A quick glance revealed it to be an infant, not even a month old.

Her beautiful eyes narrowed as she sensed a familiar yet incredibly powerful force. Beneath the veil, her expression changed subtly — disbelief mixed with irrepressible joy.

She suddenly turned her gaze toward the depths of the valley, where the other beam of nine-colored light continued to flicker, as if trying to communicate something.

Her eyes shifted again, becoming firm. She glanced one last time at the massive skeletal remains below, a trace of sorrow in her expression.

A flash of hatred flickered through her eyes. Hugging the infant, her figure flickered and disappeared into the space rift.

As they vanished, the previously chaotic valley gradually returned to silence.

Tianhun Empire

In a remote area near the Star Dou Great Forest, a small city stood quietly.

This city was far from bustling — unlike major cities, it was home to mostly common folk, with few nobles.

In the northwest corner of the city was a row of modest houses — a residential area for the poor.

"Huff... Huff..."

Heavy breathing echoed through a narrow alley.

A boy, around six years old, was running while lifting a massive cauldron.

Compared to the giant cauldron, his figure was tiny, yet he carried it with determination — an item most adults couldn't even budge.

Each step he took was firm, and clear footprints were left on the ground behind him.

"Creak!"

"Bang!"

After a few laps, he stopped in front of a courtyard.

With a loud bang, he kicked open the tightly closed door and stepped inside.

He placed the massive cauldron down in an open area.

Boom! The sound of it hitting the ground was dull and heavy, as if it had shaken the earth itself — a clear indication of its weight.

"So tired!"

The boy muttered, wiping sweat from his brow, his face flushed red.

The cauldron weighed over a thousand pounds — even a grown man couldn't lift it.

Although he was born with great strength, running several laps around the alley while carrying it had exhausted him.

"Better take a bath first. Uncle Tian and Aunt Bi will be here soon."

Muttering to himself, the boy shuffled into the house on short legs.

Ignoring his sweat-soaked body, he boiled a pot of hot water and took a soothing warm bath.

Afterward, he dumped a basin of cold water over himself, instantly feeling refreshed.

Cleaned and dressed in fresh clothes, he felt completely rejuvenated.

Biting into a fruit he found in the kitchen, the boy leaned against the doorway in boredom. His big, dark eyes shone with a wisdom and calm far beyond his years.

"It's been six years… Without realizing it, I've already spent six years in the Douluo Continent."

He sighed internally.

Yes — he wasn't a native of Douluo Continent. He had transmigrated here.

And not just his soul — his entire body had crossed over.

It was similar to being reborn.

The Douluo Continent was entirely different from the world he came from.

Here, the strong reigned supreme. The powerful had everything, while the weak could only submit to fate.

Without great strength, one could never control their destiny.

"The worst part is… this is the Douluo 2 timeline. If it were Douluo 1, life might've been a bit easier."

He shook his head in frustration.

In Douluo 2, all sorts of monsters and demons roamed, and mighty god-kings sat high above, manipulating the fates of all beings.

In contrast, Douluo 1 — while chaotic — didn't have evil soul masters running rampant.

There was at least a bit more security.

And in Douluo 2, if you didn't have background or status, rising to the top was nearly impossible.

For a commoner to rise up — it was even harder than it was ten thousand years ago.

"Uncle Tian and the others are coming soon to take me for my martial soul awakening. But I'm a transmigrator — how could I have a martial soul?"

A flicker of worry crossed his eyes.

In Douluo Continent, everyone had a martial soul — regardless of talent or spirit power.

But he, as a transmigrator, didn't know what martial soul, if any, he would awaken.

Without a martial soul, how could he survive in a world where martial souls reign supreme?

Could he rely on his innate strength?

He didn't even know why he was so unusually strong — but no matter how strong, without a martial soul, he'd never reach the peak.

Sure, he was powerful — but not powerful enough to break all laws by strength alone.

He couldn't even defeat a Soul Elder, let alone someone stronger.

Strength alone doesn't equal combat power!
