"W-what are these achievements?" Dylan was in a daze. The little coalball beside him stuck out its tongue and licked his palm.
"Moo…" it seemed to say.
"Good, go play somewhere else," Dylan patted the little shadow creature's head, his mind still trying to process the strange achievements.
He carefully examined the new achievements that had been unlocked.
"Super affinity with Dark Magic? Three max-level Forbidden Curses? Release Dark Magic without negative emotional influence???"
Dylan couldn't help but click his tongue.
Was this system really legit?
"Are you really an achievement system? Because I'm starting to feel like you're a Dark Magic system in disguise!" Dylan muttered, starting to doubt the system's intentions.
He scrolled down for a long time before finally spotting the new achievements.

"Uh... why does Dark Magic just keep getting boosted while normal magic affinity and potion affinity only get a simple +1?" Dylan felt slightly awkward.
Despite that, the rewards from these achievements were quite substantial.
He started getting excited as he ticked them off one by one.
First up was the Dark Magic talent.
Not only did his affinity for Dark Magic rise dramatically, but he also gained the ability to use Dark Magic without being influenced by negative emotions!
Moreover, it felt like no matter what Forbidden Curse he studied next, he would master it in no time.
Beyond that, he sensed that if he used the Unforgivable Curses now, their power would be even stronger than before.
"With my Dark Magic talent, if I become a Dark Wizard, those Death Eaters don't even need Voldemort anymore. Grindelwald won't stand a chance either. They'll all kneel to me," Dylan mused to himself, eyeing the achievement — "I'm a Good Kid."
He noted the reward for this achievement: no one would be able to indirectly trace the magical marks he left behind. That meant that if anyone tried to track his magic, they'd have to face him directly, eye to eye!
This reward was something Dylan was extremely satisfied with.
It was incredibly useful!
In case he ever had to use the Unforgivable Curses one day, as long as he dealt with the target directly, no one would be able to trace his actions afterward.
These benefits made Dylan feel like being called the Dark Lord wasn't so unacceptable after all.
What was wrong with embracing the darkness? The darkness was lonely, after all!
"I wonder which three Dark Magic spells I'll get this time," Dylan thought, looking at the three dark orbs hovering at the top of the achievement panel, looking like black stars.
He clicked them one by one.
In an instant, the dark stars erupted into blinding light.
Dylan once again felt a familiar sensation. It was the feeling of having mastered a spell — no, three spells in an instant.
[Message]: Congratulations! You have mastered the full-level spell — Fiendfyre!
[Message]: Congratulations! You have mastered the full-level spell — Morsmordre!
Dylan's eyes widened.
[Message]: Congratulations! You have mastered the full-level spell — Parasitopossio (Parasite Possession)!
"These Dark Magic spells…" Dylan muttered to himself.
The first two were familiar to him: Fiendfyre and Morsmordre.
Fiendfyre could even destroy Horcruxes, making it one of the rare substances capable of doing so. Its power far surpassed that of the Fiery Curse, and no ordinary water could extinguish it.
As for Morsmordre, it summoned a skull, which acted like a signal flare but also had some capability to intimidate spirits and dark creatures.
But the last one, Parasitopossio...
Dylan quickly sensed the nature of the spell.
He realized this Dark Magic could forcibly affect a dying life form and transfer its soul into another living body. By doing so, the life force of the second body would help sustain the life of the first.
However, after the merging, what exactly would happen to the two beings was unclear.
The first thought that came to Dylan's mind was Professor Quirrell's strange behavior. Specifically, how his body seemed to have been taken over, his head a literal manifestation of Voldemort's parasitic nature.
"Yuck…" Dylan shivered at the thought.
"This Dark Magic... it's even more twisted than I thought…"
Dylan shook his head. He had already mastered six Dark Curses — all high-level ones, including the Unforgivable Curses.
Each one was more evil than the last!
"I can't believe this…" Dylan muttered, though a part of him was still impressed by how much power he was gaining.
Thankfully, the next set of achievement rewards seemed somewhat more balanced.
"Infinite Currency Storage? Storage space?"
He quickly glanced at the new system feature.
After opening the wizard hat icon, he found an additional information bar.

Upon reviewing, it seemed that the system's storage space allowed Dylan to store items that weren't part of the system's rewards. These items could be accessed via the Items section.
As for the Infinite Currency Storage, that was much easier to understand. The Money section in his information tab was the newly unlocked area by the system.
"So, I can store all my money and items directly into the system's panel?" Dylan thought, starting to grasp how this new feature worked.
With this new ability, Dylan realized he could freely store and access his belongings, potentially giving him an edge in many situations, especially as his collection of dark and magical items expanded.
