Chapter 8 - Chapter 8:Take off

Garon looked down at the boundless white world, the snow-covered ground five hundred meters below the dragon nest, and couldn't help but feel a little apprehensive.

Compared to his dragon brothers and sisters, who mainly acted on instinct, Garon, with his much higher intelligence, had more doubts and hesitations, and for a moment, he didn't dare to take off directly.

This was because Garon's previous human self had a bit of acrophobia, feeling uneasy once he was high up, and often having a suicidal urge to jump when standing at a height.

Although that feeling was gone now, he still felt a little hesitant in his heart.

"Five hundred meters high, if I don't fly well and fall..."

Garon sucked in a breath of cold air, seemingly seeing a large pile of minced meat.

However, as a dragon, flying in the sky was his destiny, and avoidance wouldn't solve any problems.

Garon took several deep breaths of the cold air, suppressed the agitation in his heart, and then looked left and right at his dragon wings, which were about the same length as his body.

With a thought, the folded dragon wings moved as easily as his arms, spreading out and flapping rapidly at the same time.

As the dragon wings moved, the magic energy in the surrounding space leaped and danced like elves, surrounding Garon's body, and a buoyant force was generated. Garon's thick lower limbs instantly lifted off the ground, more than three feet.

His entire dragon body floated up.

Dragon flight actually relied on a passive spell-like ability.

It was equivalent to being blessed with a fixed flight spell, and a very high-level one at that.

Although the dragon wings were wide and powerful, according to their structure, they clearly couldn't support the tonnage of a dragon's body.

On the other side, while Garon was still test-flying, the little female dragon and the dragon brothers had already excitedly flapped their wings and leaped, leaving the dragon nest and soaring freely under the clear blue sky.

Even on their first flight, they showed full agility, as if they were born with the ability to fly.

"Garon, why aren't you coming yet?"

Hill nimbly circled in the air, then turned her head to look at Garon, who was several times larger than her, and said to Garon in Dragon Language.

Her light, crisp voice and pleasant syllables sounded like silver bells dancing in the wind.

The two dragon brothers also looked at Garon at the same time and said in Dragon Language, "Garon, are you scared?"

Garon glanced at dragon brother number one and dragon brother number two, whose names he couldn't be bothered to remember, snorted lightly, and said, "Is that the tone you use to speak to your elder brother?"

He raised his head and looked at the boundless white world, towards the faint golden horizon in the distance. Suddenly, his dragon wings shook, and his entire dragon body, carrying a gust of wind, left the dragon nest.

The biting cold wind and scattered, cotton-like snowflakes rushed towards Garon.

Looking down, he was fully five hundred meters above the snow-covered ground. The distinct snowflakes were like sand, covering the entire ground in his field of vision.

The imagined fear and discomfort did not come.

Garon paused slightly, and then only felt his chest open up and his vision broaden. A heroic feeling of a dragon soaring freely in the sky spontaneously arose.

He immediately wanted to soar, dancing in the boundless ice and snow world, enjoying the cool pleasure of the wind and snow sweeping across his body.

However, there was one more thing to do before that.

"Hmph, let me teach you a lesson first, what it means to treat a dragon with respect!"

Garon's eyes narrowed as he looked at the two dragon brothers a dozen meters away.

Perhaps influenced by the white dragon's evil nature, Garon's personality had become less friendly. Just as the two dragon brothers couldn't help but provoke him, after being provoked, he also wanted to retaliate in kind and teach them how to be dragons.

Garon felt the subtle changes in his personality compared to when he was human, but he didn't resist it. Instead, he found it quite interesting.

He chose to actively accept this change, feeling it necessary to make the dragon brothers recognize who the boss was here.

Dragon brother number one and dragon brother number two exchanged a glance, both seeing the meaning in the other's eyes.

A second later, they simultaneously flapped their wings and flew towards Garon from the left and right.

Dragons were creatures that respected strength, especially evil dragons, whose familial bonds were extremely weak.

Even dragonets would fight to establish their position.

Although Garon was the eldest son and a size larger than them, if his true strength wasn't enough to suppress them, he wouldn't be taken seriously by these proud creatures.

Size alone wasn't enough to determine everything.

Dragon brother number one was slightly faster. His body, the size of an adult wolf, quickly crossed the ten-meter distance, his dragon claws reaching unceremoniously towards Garon's face.

Garon directly lowered his head, and his body, already the size of a Siberian tiger, rammed over like a heavy tank.

Under his imposing aura, dragon brother number one was clearly flustered.

Bang!

Dragon brother number one was knocked away, like a rag doll, his neck locked by Garon's dragon claws. Garon then dragged him down and pinned him to the snow-covered ground, creating a dragon-shaped pit mark.

Then came a head-to-toe beating.

Dragon brother number one was unconvinced, sticking out his neck and glaring at Garon with a roar.

"Awoooo...woo?"

Just as he uttered a sound, Garon's dragon claws tightly gripped his entire face, pressing it into the snow and rubbing it back and forth. Helpless whimpering sounds were incessant.

Although size didn't represent everything, it was enough for him to beat up a small dragonet.

Cough, although it wasn't something to be proud of, the violent factor within Garon was stimulated, and he enjoyed it.

Dragon brother number two, who had charged towards Garon along with dragon brother number one, immediately tucked his tail between his legs and chickened out after seeing Garon instantly deal with dragon brother number one like he was dealing with a child. He flew dozens of meters away in mid-air, watching the one-sided beating without daring to intervene.

The exquisite and beautiful little female dragon Hill approached dragon brother number two and said in a somewhat bewitching Dragon Language, "Why don't you go help Charles? Otherwise, after Garon finishes beating Charles, you'll be next."

Charles was the name of dragon brother number one.

"Go help Charles now and join forces to deal with Garon. You still have a chance."

The little female dragon's intelligence seemed to be slightly higher than that of ordinary white dragon dragonets. Unlike the two silly dragon brothers, who dared to actively provoke Garon head-on despite his size.

Dragon brother number two hesitated slightly, then his expression hardened, and he swooped down, pouncing towards Garon.

Slap!

Garon swept his dragon wing, not even turning his head, directly swatting dragon brother number two into the snow.

Then, with one claw on each, he pressed down on the two dragon brothers' silly heads, making them intimately rub against the cold ground beneath the snow.

A hundred meters in mid-air, Hill watched this scene, and a happy, melodious dragon roar couldn't help but escape her mouth.

"Poor Tom, tricked by the great Hill into getting beaten up like that."

Tom was the name of dragon brother number two.

A few minutes later, Charles and Tom were completely subdued by Garon, their faces bruised and swollen, their bellies turned up in fear, indicating their surrender and submission. This also meant that they were willing to listen to Garon in the future and treat him as their true elder brother.

The elder brother released the silly dragon brothers, raised his head to look at Hill, and said faintly, "Great Hill, I heard everything you just said."

Hill's proud expression froze slightly, then she looked at Garon warily and said, "Garon, what do you want?"

Garon squeezed his dragon claws and said gently, "Fly down now and let me punch you twice, and I won't pursue the matter."

"Or you can start running, and then you'll be caught by me like those two and get a good beating."
