Act 3: "Memories"
(Lights come up on Phoebe standing center stage. A soft spotlight on her. The background shows a faded image of a school building — "Eastern High School." She smiles as she talks directly to the audience.)
Phoebe (narrating):
Eastern High School.
Home of the Eagles.
And home to some of the best — and craziest — memories of my life.
(She walks slowly across the stage, looking around like she's seeing old memories.)
Freshman year?
I got lost on the way to my first class... and ended up in the janitor's closet.
(She laughs at herself.)
Sophomore year, I met some of my best friends... and some people I wish I hadn't.
(She shrugs playfully.)
Not every memory was perfect.
But they're my memories.
And somehow, they all matter.
(She stops and looks directly at the audience, more serious.)
I learned that sometimes, the people you think will stay forever... don't.
And sometimes, the ones you least expect end up being your biggest cheerleaders.
(Pause. She smiles warmly.)
I'm excited about this year.
Excited to try things I've never tried before.
Like joining the drama club... even though public speaking terrifies me.
(laughs)
Or maybe finally talking to my longtime crush instead of running the other way.
Or pulling off a huge senior prank... maybe. Maybe.
(winks)
(She steps back, looking at the audience like she's sharing a secret.)
This is the beginning of the end.
The last first day.
The last homecoming.
The last exams, the last dances, the last late-night cram sessions.
(She places her hand over her heart, a little emotional.)
I don't want to miss a thing.
I want to make every moment count.
Because after this... everything changes.
(Lights fade out slowly as Phoebe exits the stage, full of hope.)
