Chapter 28 - 14.The Heist Blueprint

Location: Mobile Safehouse (Undisclosed location)Time: 10:45 PM

Vincent, Feynman, Angie, and Aiden sat in a loose circle. It was time to bring Dominic down.

Objective:

Disrupt Dominic's cash flow

Collapse his political and military network

Damage his public image through coordinated narrative warfare

A direct attack wasn't going to cut it. This wasn't a war—it was a heist.

Phase 1 – Cut the Money Supply

Feynman opened his laptop and projected a map.

"Dominic's money trail is a labyrinth. On paper, it looks clean—legit investments. But under the surface? A massive laundering operation."

Dominic's key financial routes:

Offshore shell companies → crypto → laundered funds

Military contracts → falsified bookkeeping

Political donations → black money influencing public perception

Aiden crossed his arms.

"So if we expose this in the press, it all collapses?"

Feynman grinned. "Not quite. We freeze it before we expose it."

Plan:

Hack into Dominic's covert accounts

Leak classified intel from government and defense insiders

Hit PMC and financial systems simultaneously

Vincent nodded."Then we need access to internal networks."

Phase 2 – Information Warfare and Narrative Control

Aiden tapped the table.

"I can work the media. But if we go in too hard, too fast, we risk backlash."

Angie smiled."So we manipulate the tempo."

Information Operations Strategy:

Stir internal discord using Dominic's own network

Seed false narratives to force premature reactions

Leak scandals gradually to build cumulative damage

Aiden nodded. "So not a knockout punch, but slow erosion."

Angie looked at Feynman."This can't just be media. We need digital chaos."

Feynman typed rapidly."Social media, search algorithms, ad platforms, even internal government memos—we spin it all. By the time Dominic tries to speak, the world will already see him as guilty."

Phase 3 – Collapse from Within

Vincent spoke low.

"Dominic isn't a man. He's a system. To destroy him, we break that system."

Internal Collapse Strategy:

Manipulate him into purging his own

Fracture loyalty within his PMC and security personnel

Use psychological operations to turn his inner circle against him

Angie folded her arms."So we either plant a mole or weaponize someone already cracking."

Vincent replied simply,"Exactly."

But There's a Problem – We're Shorthanded

Feynman can't run the digital war solo.Aiden is already pushing limits on the media front.Vincent and Angie need to stay in the field.

Aiden sighed."So… do we have anyone else we can trust?"

Feynman hesitated."…I've got a shortlist."

Candidates:

Info-warfare specialist

Master of disguise (for infiltration)

Demolitions/weapons expert for PMC contact

Vincent's fingers drummed against the table.

"This isn't a mission. It's war."He met their eyes."And we'd better win it."

*****

Ally or Traitor?

Location: Mobile Safehouse (Undisclosed location)Time: 11:10 PM

A detailed plan sat on the table. But something bothered Vincent—lack of combat muscle.

Dominic had a private army.And worse—he had Specter.Vincent couldn't handle that solo.

He needed someone.A name surfaced: Gabriel.

Vincent closed his eyes. The last time they fought…

Gabriel was strong. He was abandoned by Dominic. But could he be trusted?

Angie raised an eyebrow."You seriously wanna bring that guy back in?"

Vincent replied bluntly."We're out of options."

Feynman muttered, "Yeah, but he might shoot us on sight. He works for the highest bidder."

Angie smirked."Or stab us in the back mid-op."

Aiden knocked on the table."Then we'll need leverage—something to keep him loyal."

Vincent nodded. They had to make sure Gabriel had no better option.

Last Known Location:

A shabby motel on the outskirts of New York

Sightings linked to former PMC contacts

Vincent strapped on his gear."I'll go myself."

Angie gave him a look."It's dangerous."

He grinned."If it's not dangerous, it's not my job."

Location: Motel Outside NYCTime: 2:30 AM

Vincent stepped quietly into the building. It was quiet. Worn-down. Cold.

Gabriel was here.He wouldn't welcome visitors.

Vincent knocked.

Nothing.

He pushed gently on the door.

Click.A gun barrel met him instantly.

Gabriel stood in the shadows.

"What do you want now?"

Scarred. Wounded. Still lethal.

Vincent smiled."I need you."

Gabriel's eyes narrowed."What do I get out of it?"

"Survival."

Gabriel didn't lower the gun.He didn't trust Dominic.Didn't trust Vincent either.

Vincent pressed on.

"We're taking Dominic down. You have a role."

Gabriel chuckled."You saying if I say no, you'll take me out?"

Vincent smirked."No need. You don't have better choices."

Gabriel's expression darkened.

"Explain."

"Dominic knows you're alive. And he doesn't recycle old tools."

Gabriel's knuckles whitened around the grip.

"You betray us? You're dead.""You help us? Maybe you live."

Gabriel exhaled slowly.Thoughts raced. Weighing every outcome.

Finally—he lowered the gun.

"You think you can trust me?"

Vincent grinned."I don't. But I know we need each other."

Gabriel paused. Then nodded.

"Fine. But get one thing straight—this isn't your command. It's a partnership."

Vincent nodded."That's all I ask."

"Betrayal and Deception"

Location: A quiet street, downtown New YorkTime: 3:45 AM

Angie stood in a dark alley, holding a cellphone to her ear.But she wasn't speaking directly to Dominic.

"Where are you?"The assistant's voice was low and cautious.

Angie lit a cigarette, watching the smoke disappear into the darkness.

"Tell Dominic…"Her voice was calm."They're looking for someone new."

A brief silence followed.

"Someone new?"

Angie flicked the cigarette to the ground, twisting it out with her heel.

"A fighter."

She didn't elaborate. But what she said was enough.

Vincent's group was recruiting combat personnel.

That meant they were currently undermanned.

And if Dominic knew that, he'd act fast.

The voice on the other end returned, more measured.

"Why are you leaking this?"

Angie paused.She didn't answer directly.

"That's for Dominic to decide."

Location: Dominic's Private OfficeTime: 4:10 AM

The assistant entered quietly.Dominic hadn't slept. He was sipping wine, staring out at the New York skyline.

"Speak."

The assistant stepped forward and gave a brief report.

"Angie contacted us."

Dominic slowly turned his head.

"What did she say?"

The assistant kept it short and precise.

Vincent's group is seeking a new combat asset.

They're low on manpower.

Which means they're currently defensive, not offensive.

Dominic smiled.

"Interesting."

He placed his wineglass down and stood.

"If Angie's passing intel, then at least for now, she's still on our side."

He gently tapped his fingers on the desk, a quiet rhythm building in the still room.
