Chapter 1 - Death of mu won

The Heavenly Demon Cult stands as one of the mightiest forces in the cultivation world. Shrouded in mystery, this unorthodox sect not only commands half of the world's population but wields power rivaling the gods in the legends.

At the heart of their domain towers the legendary Kunlun Mountain, its peak piercing the cloud's. Behind it was a deep pit , if a stone was thrown inside the pit, it will take two hours before the echo of landing could be heard, that's how deep the mountain was, it was so deep that it earned a name"The Depths of Hell."

At the top Kunlun's windswept summit stood a middle-aged man at the age of forty years old, draped in black and red robes, unmoved by the fierce mountain gales that whipped around him. His attire marked him as one of the heirs of the Heavenly Demon Cult - Mu Won, the firstborn, who at forty years old had chosen a path different from his siblings. Unlike them, he lacked talent for cultivation and had retreated into seclusion.

Five years ago, whispers reached his ears of five Philosopher Stones hidden within the cult's domain. Among the truths and lies woven into the rumors, one detail persisted: together, activated by blood, the stones could grant any wish. Now, with the artifacts finally in his possession, his face betrayed a complex mixture of triumph and sorrow.

As he gazed across the vast mountain range behind the sect, while standing at the top of kunlun mountain, his expression shifted from hope to bitter resignation. "It seems my wish will not come true," he muttered to himself.

Suddenly, twenty figures in black and orange robes descended upon the mountain like falling stars. The youngest among them, barely thirty, bore a fearless countenance that spoke of countless battles. These were the elders of the Heavenly Demon Cult, masters of both cultivation and martial dao.

Among them stood Cheon Won, the second son, whose talent had elevated him to the peak of mortal sage realm at an unprecedented age. Now installed as the young lord of the Heavenly Demon Cult, his authority was second only to the Heavenly Demon himself.

"Long live the young lord of the Heavenly Demon, may you reign for ten thousand years!" Mu Won knelt, greeting his younger brother with proper ceremony.

"Brother," Cheon Won's voice dripped with cold authority, "Father has ascended to the divine realm, and I now lead the cult. You know why we're here - those Philosopher Stones you've stolen could summon a wishing pearl. Did you think you could take them for yourself?"

Mu Won rose slowly, a resigned smile playing across his lips. When an elder brandished a blade at him, demanding answers, he remained unperturbed. Without cultivation base, nor anything to loose, he had nothing left to fear.

"Brother, do I look like a fool? I know your true nature - how you've eliminated our siblings one by one. None of that matters now."

Rage twisted Cheon Won's features. "Of all my siblings, I despised you most. Weak in cultivation, yet you survived every assassination attempt. Father constantly compared us, praising your intelligence over my power. You've been a thorn in my side long enough. Today, you die without even a burial place."

"Is that so?" Mu Won's composure never wavered. "Then I won't die alone. Haven't you heard? Swallowing even one of these stones causes an explosion. Imagine what happens when I take all five. It will take decades for new Philosopher Stones to form, and by then, the whole continent will hunt for them beyond the cult's reach."

As the elders watched in horror, Mu Won swallowed all five stones at once. Cheon Won, his thoughts racing between stopping his brother and securing the stones, hesitated a moment too long.

With a roar of fury, he unsheathed his sword and hurled it at Mu Won. The blade found its mark, piercing his brother's heart. As Mu Won plummeted into the Depths of Hell, a tremendous explosion shook the mountains to their foundations.

BOOOOOOOOOM!

The cult's ground trembled like a beast in pain. Above, thick clouds choked out the sun, as if nature itself mourned the passing of Mu Won. His flesh scattered to the winds, leaving nothing behind but the echo of his final defiance.

"A pitiful end," Cheon Won mused, his concern solely for the lost stones rather than his brother's fate. "But he brought this upon himself."

"I didn't die, I survived. Where am I?"

It was dark, too dark. Why I'm I blue,is this my soul, that means am Still dead right?

Mu Won couldn't believe his eyes. He found himself in an impossibly dark place, yet he knew with certainty that he had died.

"Is this the underworld? What a pitiful way to die."

"But this is good, I finally have peace."

"I always wanted to create my organization if I ever started cultivation, but that world wasn't for me. There were too many powerful foes. I wasn't strong enough to face them all." His face displayed deep sadness.

In this dark emptiness, Mu Won grew bored. Time seemed to stand still in this space, to the point where his thoughts drifted from his death to the very nature of time itself.

"How long have I been in this space? A week? A month? It's as if time isn't moving at all. I wish I could reincarnate in a place where I would reign with power. Perhaps with the ability to control time itself. How wonderful would that be? I might even create an organization stronger than the Heavenly Demon Cult. Haha... too bad that's impossible now."

"Stop speaking in my head and show yourself! You're making strange noises I don't understand!"

[It's been detected that the host doesn't have a body]

"Body? That's the only word I understood. Is it referring to my previous body? I was always cold—that's why I couldn't cultivate. But now I feel hot suddenly. It's uncomfortable."

[Generating a body that's immune to cold and heat]

"Just like that? I'm feeling normal for the first time. Is this voice responsible?"

"Is it answering my wishes? Does this mean I will truly reincarnate? It must be the philosopher's stone. I wonder how many wishes it will grant."

Two minutes passed in silence.

"If I really reincarnate into a new world, I will become the strongest no matter what. I'll come back and seek revenge on the heavenly demon cult once I'm powerful enough. I will devour all that exists in that world."
