The fight below was getting messy—real messy. The Teen Team was getting their butts absolutely kicked by the mutated villain, and it wasn't looking good.
Robot was still doing his thing, his one metal hands tapping away at other hand screen while he dodged tentacles and shouted orders.
"Recalculating strategy—Dupli-Kate, maintain distraction! Eve, reinforce your barriers!" His voice was steady, like he was running numbers in his head, even as a tentacle slammed into the ground near him, cracking the pavement.
Dupli-Kate kept sending her clones out, same as always. "Take this, you slimeball!" one of her copies yelled, waving its arms before getting snatched up and smashed into a wall.
Another clone ran in, shouting, "Hey, over here!" only to get flattened by a giant foot.
She popped out another one from behind a dumpster, panting but smirking. "You're gonna run out of juice before I do, ugly!" she called, though her real self was starting to look tired.
Rex Splode lobbed another explosive ball, grinning despite the chaos. "Eat this, freak!" The blast hit the villain's arm, blowing off a chunk of goo, but it just roared and swung back.
"Robot, you got a plan yet, or we just gonna keep throwing stuff at it?" Rex yelled, ducking a swipe. Robot's head tilted.
"Patience, Rex. I'm analyzing its weak points." Rex groaned. "Yeah, well, analyze faster!"
From my spot on the rooftop, I munched my candy bar, watching the whole thing unfold. The Teen Team wasn't exactly winning, but they weren't totally losing either—they were holding on, barely.
I couldn't help wondering why they were letting this fight wreck so much stuff. Cars were flipped, buildings had holes punched through them, and the road was a mess of craters.
Sure, they were keeping the villain busy, but at this rate, there'd be nothing left to save. I figured I'd let them get beat up a little longer—see how they handled it.
If it looked like real danger (which I doubted it would), I'd step in, take out the mutant, and introduce myself. No rush.
A few minutes later, though, things took a turn. The Teen Team was running out of steam. No reinforcements had shown up, no Guardians, no Omni-Man, nobody.
'Would they even show up for something this small.'
They were on their own, and it showed. Rex Splode chucked another explosive, but the villain caught it mid-air with a tentacle and flung it back.
"Heads up!" Rex shouted, diving out of the way—too slow. The explosion went off near him, and then a tentacle slammed into his chest, sending him flying.
He crashed into a nearby building, smashing through a window. When he hit the ground, he coughed, blood trickling from his mouth, one arm limp.
"Ow… crap," he muttered, trying to push himself up.
"Rex!" Atom Eve yelled, her voice sharp with worry. She glanced at him, then back at the villain, her face hardening.
"You're done," she growled. Her hands glowed pink, and she formed a big energy hammer in one hand and a shield in the other.
"Eve, wait!" Robot called, but she was already charging straight at the mutant. "I've got this!" she snapped back.
She swung the hammer hard, smashing it into the villain's side. It roared, stumbling, but then swung a tentacle down.
The hammer cracked, pink shards flying, and a second hit shattered her shield. She staggered back, breathing hard. "Okay… maybe not," she muttered.
Dupli-Kate sent another clone in, shouting, "Eve, fall back!" The clone got grabbed and hurled into a streetlight, snapping it in half.
"We're running out of tricks here, Robot!" she yelled, ducking as debris rained down. Robot dodged a swipe, his voice still calm.
"I'm close to a solution—just hold it off!" Rex, slumped against the building, wiped blood from his chin and forced a laugh. "Yeah, sure, we'll just… keep dying 'til you figure it out."
I leaned forward on the rooftop, tossing the candy wrapper aside. Rex was hurt, Eve was pissed, and the team was at their limit.
The villain roared again, slamming a fist into the ground, sending cracks racing through the street.
They were tough, I'd give them that, but this was getting ugly. I could step in now—teleport down, end it fast, and play the mysterious hero. I smirked, cracking my knuckles. Time to make an entrance.
The Teen Team was hanging on by a thread—barely even that.
The mutated villain was in full-on rage mode now, its slimy green body heaving as it roared loud enough to rattle the broken windows around us.
Its tentacles whipped wildly, and its glowing red eyes locked onto Rex and Atom Eve. Rex was still slumped against the building, clutching his side, blood smeared on his face.
Eve stood in front of him, panting, her hands glowing faintly as she tried to summon another shield.
The rest of the team was scattered—Robot dodging attacks, Dupli-Kate down to her last few clones.
The villain stomped forward, cracking the ground with each step, its voice a guttural snarl.
"You little pests! I'll crush you—starting with the loudmouth and the pink girl!" It pointed a tentacle at Rex and Eve, slime dripping from its jagged teeth. Rex coughed, forcing a weak grin.
"Loudmouth? Man, you're the one yelling." Eve shot him a look. "Not the time, Rex!" The mutant roared again, "I'll rip you apart and scatter the pieces!" It charged straight for them, tentacles raised, ready to smash them flat.
Up on the rooftop, I'd seen enough. Time to shine. I stood up, brushing candy crumbs off my new white shirt, and grinned.
This was my moment to introduce myself to the Teen Team, and I wanted it to be good. My brain started spinning with ideas. 'Maybe I could teleport in with a cool one-liner, like, "Hey, ugly, party's over!" Nah, too basic. What about dropping from the sky, hands in my pockets, all casual—"Miss me?" Nope, they don't even know me yet. Ooh, or I could pop in, wink at Eve, and say, "Don't worry, your VIP's here!" Heh, that'd be funny—Rex would hate it. Gojo Satoru's gotta have flair, right? Something chill but flashy, to stick in their heads.'
I settled on a plan—teleport right into the action, stop the villain mid-charge, and play it cool.
No big speech, just show up and let my powers do the talking. I cracked my neck, flexed my fingers, and focused.
"Alright, let's make it fun," I muttered to myself. With a thought, I teleported, vanishing from the rooftop and reappearing smack in front of the charging mutant, right between it and Rex and Eve.
The villain skidded to a stop, its massive feet gouging the pavement. It glared right straight at me, tentacles twitching, clearly confused by the random guy popping up out of nowhere.
I stood there, hands in my pockets, head tilted, smirking like I didn't have a care in the world. Infinity around me, a faint shimmer in the air.
The mutant's eyes narrowed, and it bellowed, "Who're you, runt? I'll squash you like the rest!" One tentacle scooped up a huge chunk of busted road, concrete and rebar sticking out, while another grabbed a crushed car, lifting it high. "Die, you white-haired!" it roared, hurling both at me with full force.
The road chunk came first, soaring straight for my head. It stopped dead, inches away, like it hit an invisible wall, Infinity doing its thing.
The car followed, smashing into the same barrier and crumpling like tin foil, metal groaning as it hung there.
I didn't flinch, just kept smirking. Behind me, I heard Eve gasp, "What the—?" and Rex mutters, "Okay, who's this guy? Did Cecil send him and if yes… why didn't he do it sooner or was he waiting for getting our ass whoop." The villain froze, its tentacles drooping, staring at the floating wreckage. I shrugged.
"Heh! Nice try, big slime tentacle guy. My turn now."

A/N: Hey guys I know it is very early to say this but send some power stones to this book for it to reach more readers, and comment how was the chapter, like you liked it or there was something missing etc…. It helps me knowing people are reading this which then help me to write more chapters faster and more funny and interesting.
A question: Should this fanfic be little bit slow pace or like little bit fast pace?
