"Thank you, Captain Su, for your help!" The person in charge of the Special Service Bureau was very polite to Su Xiuyu. He was an insider who understood Su Xiuyu's strength, so there was no way he would dare to be disrespectful. Besides, the director had already informed him that Su Xiuyu not only had power but also had strong backing. Knowing this, he made sure to act accordingly.
With the help of a small lifting device, the mutant deer were loaded onto several heavy trucks.
"Captain Su, I've contacted the barbecue chef as you requested. He'll be here tonight to handle the roasting."
"Alright, we'll eat the two dead deer together. Let's make it an evening feast. You must do me a favor and stay for it." Seeing how busy the man had been, Su Xiuyu extended the invitation.
"Of course! See you tonight."
That evening, inside the Secret Service compound, several chefs set up a massive grill. The two mutant deer, now stripped of their antlers, had been skinned and cleaned. Their hides were so tough that it had taken several people the entire afternoon to remove them properly.
The sight of the enormous mutant deer roasting over the fire was nothing short of spectacular. Almost all the Secret Service personnel gathered around. With two such massive deer, there was more than enough for everyone to enjoy. The air buzzed with excitement as the chefs coated the meat with various spices, salt, and seasonings before lighting two huge fires to begin the roasting process.
As the director, Lei Jiangang gave a short speech, primarily to thank the special operations team for their contributions. Of course, everyone knew that most of the credit belonged to Su Xiuyu.
Su Xiuyu's parents had also been invited to the barbecue. Seeing the confidence on their son's face, they finally realized that he had grown up.
Everyone had a great time, enjoying the unique taste of the giant mutant deer. It wasn't the most refined meal, but the novelty of it made it special.
Later that night, Su Xiuyu politely declined an invitation from Lei Jiangang and his son to continue the gathering. Instead, he returned home with his parents, who had recently moved into their new residence.
---
The next day, Su Xiuyu made his way back to Uchiha Chisato's intensive care unit. Chisato had yet to regain consciousness, but his vital signs had stabilized significantly. It was safe to say he had passed the critical stage.
Finding a secluded area without surveillance, Su Xiuyu once again returned to the Naruto world.
Three days had passed since his last visit, when he had saved Chisato. The battlefield between the Uchiha and Senju was now stained with dried blood. The bodies of fallen clansmen had likely been retrieved by their respective sides, while the corpses of enemy soldiers had probably been left to the wild beasts.
"Madara."
Su Xiuyu moved discreetly, making his way toward Uchiha Madara, who was still imprisoned.
When Madara saw him, his face lit up with excitement. "Tell me quickly—how is Chisato?"
"Don't worry, he's not dead. He's still in a coma, but his life is no longer in danger," Su Xiuyu reassured him.
Madara let out a sigh of relief. "That's good. I was worried..."
"Why were you put in solitary confinement?" Su Xiuyu asked. He had been too focused on saving Chisato last time and hadn't paid attention to the aftermath.
"It's nothing serious. My father put me in here as punishment for my actions. If I hadn't acted decisively, Chisato would have died for sure. I don't regret it." Madara leaned back against the pile of straw in his cell, looking relaxed.
"Besides, I've already awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. It's only a matter of time before I surpass my father." He spoke with unwavering confidence.
"You might have awakened it, but you can't fully control it yet," Su Xiuyu countered. "If I'm not mistaken, you've only managed to activate the Mangekyō temporarily. In real combat, your body won't be able to handle the strain."
Madara scoffed. "Su Xiuyu, you don't understand the true power of the Uchiha." He dismissed the warning, unwilling to believe an outsider could comprehend the strength of their bloodline.
Su Xiuyu smirked. "Madara, look into my eyes."
As he spoke, he activated his Sharingan.
Madara fell silent, staring at him in shock.
"Su Xiuyu... You never told me you were from the Uchiha clan. Why reveal it now? Were you afraid our clansmen wouldn't accept you?" he asked, finally understanding.
"Strictly speaking, I do have Uchiha blood now," Su Xiuyu replied vaguely. Of course, he couldn't explain that his bloodline had been integrated through the system. That secret would remain buried forever.
Madara processed this revelation quickly. Suddenly, everything made sense—Su Xiuyu's rapid progress, his intense concern for Chisato. If he was an Uchiha, it was only natural. In Madara's mind, Su Xiuyu had now become a legitimate member of the clan.
And, according to their ages, that meant...
A smirk crept onto Madara's face. "So, I have another younger brother now."
Su Xiuyu sighed internally, knowing exactly where this was going.
"From now on, should I call you Uchiha Xiuyu or Su Xiuyu?" Madara teased.
Su Xiuyu rubbed his forehead in exasperation. "Call me whatever you want. Just stick with Su Xiuyu."
"Then I'll call you Xiuyu," Madara decided smugly. "That way, it sounds closer. My little brother—hahaha!"
"Cut the crap! Don't call me your little brother!" Su Xiuyu shot back. "You're the little brother!"
----
"It's pointless to argue. You're younger than me, so that makes you my little brother. Just accept it." Madara had dropped all pretense, revealing a rare moment of sincerity.
Su Xiuyu sighed, knowing there was no use in refuting Madara's logic.
"Hey, Xiuyu, once my father's anger cools down, let's go and wipe out the Blood Pond Clan together," Madara said, his Sharingan glowing ominously. "I can't forgive myself for being so powerless back then. Chisato almost died right in front of me… I'll never forget the look of despair in his eyes."
Madara clenched his fists, his voice filled with cold determination. "I want the Blood Pond Clan to pay the price they deserve."
"And if this cycle of hatred continues?" Su Xiuyu asked, watching him carefully.
"Then I'll kill every last member of the Blood Pond Clan and end this hatred completely!" Madara's blood-red Sharingan gleamed as he spoke, his words carrying the weight of absolute conviction.
"Got it," Su Xiuyu said, shifting the mood. "I brought a bunch of desserts today. Let's eat."
Madara's tense expression relaxed instantly as Su Xiuyu handed him the snacks he had prepared. Without hesitation, Madara dug in.
"Xiuyu, today is actually a pretty good day," he said between bites. "Not only did I learn that Chisato is still alive, but I also gained a new cousin."
Then, as if suddenly remembering something, he smirked. "Oh, right. I forgot to mention—Chisato isn't a boy. He's actually a girl."
Su Xiuyu nearly choked on his food. "Wait… What? Not a boy? Then why do you keep calling her your brother?"
"When I was little, my mother tricked me, saying she had given me another little brother. I took it seriously," Madara admitted. "Even after I found out the truth, I was so used to calling her my brother that I just never stopped."
Su Xiuyu shook his head. "And your mother?"
"She passed away."
"And your father?"
Madara's expression darkened. "Don't bring him up."
---
A moment of silence passed before Madara spoke again, his voice unusually heavy.
"Xiuyu, it's not just Izuna and Chisato. I used to have more siblings. But now, only those two are left. If it weren't for you, I would've lost Chisato too."
He stared at the ceiling, lost in thought. "We ninjas carry hatred and serve as hired weapons for war. We fight against other clans, slaughter each other, and drown in endless grudges."
"We stain our hands with blood, and sometimes, we can't even protect the ones we love."
"I barely remember what my two dead brothers looked like. Their faces show up in my dreams sometimes, but the war has blurred those memories. And one day… I'll forget them completely."
Madara sighed deeply. "Xiuyu, when do you think this cycle of hatred will finally end?"
Su Xiuyu thought for a moment before answering. "War will never truly end. As long as humans exist, there will always be conflict."
Although the world in his previous life was relatively peaceful, local wars had never completely disappeared. There was no such thing as eternal peace.
"Human greed makes war inevitable," he continued. "But… it is possible to control its scale. We can create a system that maintains stability and prevents large-scale wars, keeping them from disrupting the world's balance."
Madara's eyes flickered with interest. "What are you getting at?"
"If you want to stop unnecessary wars, the key is unity. If the world were unified under one nation, disputes would be handled through negotiations instead of war. The foundation of peace is a strong, centralized organization."
Madara narrowed his eyes. "Are you saying you agree with Hashirama's ideals?"
"No." Su Xiuyu shook his head. "Hashirama's ideas make sense, but he's too idealistic. He believes that true peace can be achieved through mutual understanding. But that's just a dream. Human nature isn't that simple. People may have noble traits like sacrifice and bravery, but they also have selfishness and greed."
"Betting the future on 'mutual understanding' is laughable," Su Xiuyu said bluntly.
He actually liked Hashirama's personality. It was hard to dislike a guy who genuinely cared about others. But his dream of people understanding each other was nothing more than a fragile illusion—one that would shatter at the first sign of reality.
"So, Madara," Su Xiuyu continued, "why not start small? Build a village where different clans live together. If that works, then create a unified country. And eventually… a unified world."
"People's hearts are unpredictable. But with a strong system in place, you don't need to rely on something as unreliable as human nature."
Madara fell silent, absorbing Su Xiuyu's words.
For years, Hashirama had preached about a future where people understood each other. But deep down, Madara had always doubted whether such a future was even possible.
Now, Su Xiuyu was telling him something different: even if people never truly understood each other, peace could still be achieved through structure and control.
A slow smirk spread across Madara's face.
Hashirama… you're too naive. Peace will come, but not through your dream. It will come through me and Xiuyu.
"Madara, what are you thinking so hard about?" Su Xiuyu's voice snapped him out of his thoughts. "That's all stuff for the future. Right now, shouldn't you be more worried about getting out of solitary confinement? Your father still has you locked up."
"Tch. I know!" Madara grumbled. Then he suddenly turned to Su Xiuyu. "Hey, help me escape!"
"No way. I can't even beat you yet. If your father catches me, he'll kill me." Su Xiuyu crossed his arms. "I'm not crazy enough to mess with Uchiha Tajima right now."
Madara clicked his tongue in frustration.
"Xiuyu… do you think we'll ever live to see that peaceful world?"
"You might see part of it before you die," Su Xiuyu answered casually. "And maybe… you'll see most of your dream come true after you're gone."
"As for me?" He glanced at his system panel, smirking to himself. "I think I'll live forever."
He already knew that in the future, Tobirama would develop the Impure World Reincarnation Technique. Even if Madara died, he could always be brought back. And if he followed his original timeline, he would definitely plan his own resurrection anyway.
As for Su Xiuyu? With the system at his disposal, immortality wasn't just possible—it was inevitable.
