After some deliberation, Luo Wei decided to choose the Justice Award.
Based on his past experience, the Krypton Gold Lottery had a low payout—more often than not, it only yielded a measly amount of piety, or worse, a simple thank you for your patronage. In contrast, the Justice Award required genuine acts of virtue, making it a more meaningful challenge.
Besides, Asgard wasn't exactly a crime-ridden place. Petty theft was rare, and criminals were difficult to find. Gold was easy to obtain, but acts of justice? Those were far more valuable.
"If you really want to thank me, just write me a letter of gratitude. No need for money," Luo Wei said.
"A thank-you letter?" Gener asked, puzzled. It was an unusual request.
Luo Wei had already prepared an explanation. "I know someone named Arthas. He's respectful to his teachers, honors his parents, and values tradition… but he's also unbearably arrogant. He always brags about being the most righteous person in the Nine Realms." Luo Wei smirked. "I plan to do as many good deeds as possible and collect thank-you letters… just to prove that he isn't."
"Hahaha! That's hilarious," Gener laughed. "Alright, I'll do it."
Luo Wei grinned and quickly handed over a pen and paper. "Just write it in this format."
"No problem."
A short while later, Gener finished writing and handed over the letter. He pointed to a specific part and asked, "By the way, what exactly is Holy Light?"
"It's a metaphor for justice," Luo Wei replied.
Gener raised an eyebrow. "That friend of yours… Arthas. Is he a Light Elf?"
Light Elves, the dominant race of Alfheim, were known for their gentle nature. They were also the best at raising cats in the Nine Realms, often using flying cats as mounts.
"He claims to have Light Elf blood… but who knows?" Luo Wei shrugged.

After parting ways, Luo Wei wasted no time. He rushed to the Piety Store and donated the thank-you letter. Just like before, he was able to redeem the Justice Award as a free purchase.

Luo Wei blinked in surprise.
A hair growth formula?
He was still a teenager! His hair hadn't even fully matured yet! What use did he have for this?
Regret filled him—maybe a sack of gold would've been a better choice.
Forget it… maybe in a thousand years, I'll find a use for it.
---
After returning home, Luo Wei immersed himself in his alchemical work. Under El's guidance, he continued studying the Greenhilde Pharmacopoeia. By the time he finished and took a break, it was already dinner.
Later that night, as he lay on his bed, he replayed the day's events in his mind.
Eventually, he reached for the Saint of Kings and flipped to the Book of Experience: Kobold Miner.
One more time.
There was no way a proud Aesir like him would lose to a mere kobold miner.
Luo Wei placed his palm on the book, and the scene around him shifted.
---
He was back inside the dark, narrow mine.
The space was tight—only enough for a single person to pass through normally. The dim light barely illuminated a few steps ahead, making it a difficult battlefield.
Luo Wei couldn't help but recall his experiences playing World of Warcraft.
Some mines in WoW had labyrinthine structures, easy to get lost in. Monsters lurked in every corner, often overwhelming players who let their guard down.
But there was no time for reminiscing.
A familiar voice rang out from the depths of the mine, accompanied by hurried footsteps.
---
"You no take candle!"
The kobold miner emerged from the darkness, the candle atop its head flickering as it brandished its mining pick.
As it charged, the candlelight revealed more of the tunnel, brightening Luo Wei's surroundings.
Clenching his fists, Luo Wei took a step forward and met the kobold head-on.
The kobold swung its pickaxe.
Luo Wei tried to dodge, but the cramped environment worked against him—his back hit the cave wall, leaving him vulnerable. The kobold's pickaxe struck his leg, sending pain shooting through his body. He gritted his teeth and bent forward, aiming a punch.
But the kobold was too short.
With a quick squat, it avoided his strike entirely.
And then—the worst happened.
The candle on the kobold's head brushed against Luo Wei's lower body.
Luo Wei's eyes widened in horror.
Panicked, he stumbled backward, only to trip over a piece of ore. He barely managed to keep himself from falling, but the kobold seized the moment and landed multiple hits.
Pickaxe after pickaxe struck him, inflicting deep wounds.
In such a confined space, dodging was almost impossible. Every movement risked colliding with the walls, and the scattered ores made footing treacherous.
Meanwhile, the kobold, with its smaller frame, maneuvered effortlessly through the mine. It was practically built for this environment.
Unarmed and at a severe disadvantage, Luo Wei fought desperately. But in the end…

[Defeat]
---
When the scene faded and he returned to reality, Luo Wei clenched his fists.
Again!
He activated the Book of Experience once more.
---
"You no take candle!"
The same words, the same battle.
But this time, Luo Wei was ready.
As the kobold swung its pickaxe, he reacted instantly—grabbing the weapon mid-air.
"You no take candle!" the kobold shrieked.
Luo Wei scoffed. Who wrote this dialogue? I'm literally taking your pickaxe, not your candle.
The kobold struggled, but Luo Wei's Aesir strength overpowered it.
With a sharp yank, he wrenched the mining pick from the kobold's grasp.
The moment the weapon changed hands, the fight turned in his favor.
Without hesitation, Luo Wei swung the pickaxe in a counterattack. It struck the kobold's shoulder, eliciting a pained howl.
The kobold rolled to the side, narrowly dodging the next blow, then attempted to flee deeper into the mine.
But short legs could only carry it so far.
Luo Wei pursued swiftly, landing several consecutive strikes. Finally, with one last powerful swing, he brought the pickaxe down onto the kobold's head.
Crack!
The kobold's body burst like a balloon, dissolving into smoke.
At the same time, a faintly glowing page materialized on the ground.
Luo Wei took a deep breath, then bent down and picked it up.
