Near the end of the year the man was fully bald at this point and now fighting criminals, kaiju, and various other monsters more easily. He did have to move a couple of times for financial reasons or just for his existence. Yeah, there were a few destroyed roofs, or the landlord had to relocate everyone inside but nothing they could prove he did.
At some point, people started calling him "The Caped Baldy" mostly due to the fact he started wearing a strangely colored uniform for some reason. Of course, he tried the whole mask thing alongside a few more costumes he got from a nice guy named Art although it was mostly a prototype for another suit he wanted to get off his hands and since the man was in the best financial situation, well he didn't complain.
He just did his "job" day in and day out whilst trying to survive on a very tight budget and coupons, although it was lucky he didn't need a car anymore.

"Ahh man, all those flowers looked really nice." I mumbled as I walked out of my favorite flower store, which had plenty of free sunlight.
Although I think it was a little too close to the ocean for my liking, I mean the sea air can't be all good for the plants. Oh well, I just kept on walking down the street, taking the chance for a nice stroll as I didn't find any new cheap flowers or a nice decent job. As I was walking down the street, I saw a few people running away from the beach, although why they call it a beach at this point was a bit weird.
I mean the city was trying to clean up a bit, but well that didn't stop the trash from pilling up and it wouldn't surprise me if something mutated down there. That's when I stopped walking gas I saw a bunch of dead fish guys, with some smaller ones cowering away as two guys were fighting.
The one metallic-looking guy, probably near twenty I think was launching rapid blows against a much bigger fish guy. Honestly, if this wasn't a sign the city should be cleaning up more, I mean this is what happens when you don't. The big fish guy was having trouble trying to land a hit on the cyborg guy as he zipped around him.
"Quick fast for a pesky human, but I know for a fact you can't keep this up forever!" the fish guy shouted at the top of their lungs, I think or whatever consisted of lungs.
Then the guy had fire coming from his feet and back launching themselves in the air somehow. He then twirled around in the air somehow, turning himself upside down and temporarily stopping the jets before launching themselves at the possibly mutated fish guy.
Then out of nowhere, the guy got a little faster I think, circling around the cyborg and punching them in the back, sending them flying down. The guy made a large hole in the ground as the smaller fish guys started smiling and chuckling for some reason, and it also meant I had to get involved, honestly, I thought he could take him on but here we are.
So I leaped forward toward the large fish guy as he landed on the ground, and approached the guy with a smile on his face, I think a couple of his teeth were broken or something.
"You see human, this is the strength of the ones chosen by The Darkness, the might of us sea folk who your kind dares to try and poison." he shouted as he went down the hole all that while I was standing on the side waiting to see if he would notice me.
A little unlikely since they rarely do but it is what it is.
"Unfortunately your metallic flesh would not satiate him, so I must kill-" I then launched a quick slap forward launching them to the side of the hole, killing him mid-sentence.
Honestly thought it was going to go somewhere but I think all the toxic waste kinda went to their head or something. Sounded like a weird cult pitch or speech as well so welp now it's dead, I don't do that often, I mean most of these guys were weirdos in costumes mutated via something something but honesty speaking I think I just put down a weird mutated fish that was hopefully not form that one place.
The pale where the fish guy on the Guardians of the Globe was from, can't really remember or well probably not important. Looking down the cyborg guy was just staring up at me surprised as I scratched my head approaching him. I crouched down and tried to help get him out all in one piece.
"Let me help you out." I said as I carefully pried him out of the sand which luckily for me he was not embedded in the rocks.
I lifted him over my shoulders and started walking up the hole, sliding down a few times unfortunately before making it back to the top, in front of the now confused and I think scared fish people things. I then noticed my hand was covered in a weird greenish substance that probably was their version of the blood or something and ran off screaming leaving behind a few people wrapped in chains who were happy and celebrating their newfound freedom I guess.
"Huh, that was pretty weird." I then looked down at the still astonished cyborg guy's face before continuing.
"So is there someone I need to call or something?"
He then shook his head back and forth before answering in a normal young-sounding voice, honestly thought he'd sound more robotic or something well egg on my ace I guess.
"The doctor has already been informed of my current condition and is sending a drone to recover me and bring me back to his lab."
"Before I leave I do have one question for you."
I scratched my head a bit before responding "Sure shoot."
"May I be your disciple!" he said as he bowed his head and tried to move his body leaving me with a shocked expression.
