Chapter 5 - A Disciple - Part 2

*Year: 2019*

*3rd POV*

The man continued his training day in and out, getting stronger each day saving a few people in the process. One person from the typical mugger you'd encounter in alleyways or parks late at night. Then as the year passed, full-blown supervillains or people who claim to be supervillains.

One that looked like a weird organic fusion of a truck and a large elephant, about the size of a small house, and two massive metallic horns in the front that had headlights on them. While the man was running through the streets he saw the monster rampaging with a man wearing large metallic armor and horns on the side of his head, trying to stall it as backup was on their way.

At the time he was in a red tracksuit, and his hair was beginning to thin to the point where it was better off just to shave it. With a blank expression on his face, he was scratching his cheek thinking about something, probably forgetting something at home as the hero and monster began to take their fight towards him.

"Hey get out of here, I'm barely holding this guy off!" the metallic hero shouted to the man as he was "deep" in thought.

Turning his head, he saw the monster noticing him and lunging at him with his hands out ready to crush him.

"Die human!" it shouted as the man launched a fist at it with far more effort than he would put into it, in the future. As the fist collided with the monster's body, it exploded into a mess of guts and circuits. The hero was unfortunately part of the shockwave that followed, flying into a nearby metal pole, now knocked out with the man shaking the mess off his hands and tracksuit before continuing his 10 Km run.

One of the humanoids charged their claws outstretched, two more came from the sides with a wicked smile on their face. As the first one neared, claws outstretched with the other two pulling their fists back ready to pummel the cyborg. Seeing this the cyborg began emitting sparks from their body as they quickly launched a fist forward slamming into the first charging fish humanoid whose head was blown off as a spout of red blood came out of them.

The other two's eyes widened in surprise as they tried to quicken their momentum, with the cyborg legs sparking as they blasted in the air, making the two slam into each other. The cyborg looked down and quickly rolled around, aiming their head downward as his jets boosted once more, with their right fist slamming down on both at once.

Blood splatted onto the ground as their bodies slumped to the ground and the cyborg landed on top of them. The variable army all backed off a bit as the humans had a twinge of hope in their eyes as the leader of this army grinds their teeth in frustration.

"If none of you get in there and take this weird human down, then I will sacrifice you to The Darkness myself, and I will watch as your souls are devoured and tortured for eternity in the Abyssal blackness!" The humanoid creature's king said as he grabbed one by the throat and lifted them into the air.

Seeing this the other creatures roared letting go of their human captives, charging all at once at the cyborg who had an emotionless look on his face as energy sparked from him. He bent down and launched himself forward as the humanoids rose up like a wave ready to smash into him.

Seeing this, a few gears shifted into place in his arms, as a bright orange glow emitted from them.

"Machine Gun Blows!" he shouted as it launched a rapid torrent, each one aimed for the head of each of the humanoids.

In a flash nearly half of the army was dead, much to the surprise of the others who stopped in their tracks trying to figure out what to do next. Not missing a beat though the cyborg twisted around grabbing two by the head, and slamming them into the ground, with another seeing their chance and choosing to try to attack from behind, seeing if that worked better.

The cyborg quickly lifted their foot up, as their jet activated right in the center of the humanoid's chest. They yelped as they were quickly launched back being caught quickly by their king who had leaped forward to catch them. The humanoid was not happy he was caught though as the king slowly ripped them in half.

"Useless, all of you are useless and only good as a sacrifice to The Darkness even if you can't even take care of one measly albeit strange human." They said as they tossed both halves to the side as the rest of its army backed away from the cyborg who rose to their feet and stared the king dead in the eyes.

"Since you have killed so many of my men, I shall give you the honor of knowing my. name!"

"You stand in the presence of the King of the Deep Ones, ruler of the city of Relga, rivals of the Atlantians and the highest priest of The Darkness!" They shouted as they took off the crown and head adornments, now looking no different from the rest of its men albeit beside a few different physical attributes that had no bearing on the fight about to start.

Sighing the cyborg got into a fighting pose, energy crackling from their body as a faint orange glow emitted from them, centering on their chest as a bright orange glow emitted underneath his shirt.

"It does not matter to me what your name is, you will still be eliminated." He said as jets flared from his back, burning a hole in his shirt and launching him forward with a fist pulled back.

Seeing this the Deep King, smiled as his more primal instincts took over with his face somehow becoming more menacing as his tooth grew sharper. Both sides grew closer, their fist ready to collide with one having a manic look on their face, the other a serious stern expression, the same as it always was.
