Chapter 4
Jayden stood frozen as the boar beast thundered toward him, its massive, earth armor-plated body shaking the ground with each step.
"Tch. This thing is huge," he muttered, but he wasn't worried. Not even a little. After all, he had Chidori, an A-rank assassination jutsu.
His fingers moved instinctively as he formed a series of hand seals at top speed.
"Chidori!" he shouted, expecting the crackling of blue lightning to burst from his palm—
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
"Huh?"
Before he could react, the boar reached him, its rock-like tusks slamming into his stomach with the force of a speeding truck.
"GAH—!"
Jayden was sent flying, crashing through trees like a ragdoll before finally landing in a heap on the dried leafs.
[ -30 HP | 70/100 HP Remaining ]
Jayden gasped for breath, glaring at the glowing blue text.
"Oi, SYSTEM! WHAT THE HELL?! WHERE'S MY CHIDORI?!"
[ User failed to form the correct hand seals for the jutsu. ]
Jayden blinked.
"You mean… I have to actually get the hand signs right?!"
[ Affirmative. ]
Jayden felt his soul leave his body for a moment.
"How am I supposed to do that?! Sasuke does them at insane speed!"
[ Then learn. ]
"You—! I'm gonna throw hands with this damn system!"
The boar roared in the distance, sniffing the air for his location. Jayden gritted his teeth.
"Wait… does this mean I'm completely screwed?"

Jayden blinked again.
"Then what am I supposed to do?!"
[ User can activate jutsu via system command. ]
"...You could've led with that!"
The boar stomped toward him. Jayden didn't hesitate.
"Activate: Earth Style—Mud Wall!"
Instantly, his hands moved on their own, forming the correct hand seals at blinding speed. He slammed his palms into the ground—
A thick wall of earth erupted just in time to block the boar's charge.
Jayden's eyes widened.
"It actually works!"
The beast snarled, ramming the wall over and over, cracks beginning to form.
Jayden smirked, his Sharingan spinning as he watched the beast's movements slow down in his vision.
"Now… let's test this out."
His hands moved again.
"Activate: Rasengan!"
A swirling sphere of blue chakra formed in his palm.
The moment the wall shattered, Jayden dashed forward, slamming the Rasengan into the beast's earth armor. The impact sent cracks rippling through its rocky shell, and the beast screamed in pain, staggering backward.
Jayden didn't stop.
"Activate: Chidori!"
Lightning surged around his arm, crackling with deadly energy.
With a burst of speed, he lunged forward—his electrified palm pierced straight through the beast's heart.
The boar let out a final, pained roar before collapsing with a heavy thud, unmoving.

Jayden sighed, shaking the blood off his hand.
He stared at the boar's corpse, his deadpan expression unchanging.
"...Well, you'll have to serve as my first meal."
Jayden dragged the massive beast toward an open clearing, rubbing his hands together.
"Alright, let's roast this bad boy."
However—
Breaking through the beast's hardened earth shell was a nightmare.
Jayden gritted his teeth, smashing a rock against the armor-like plating.
Nothing.
He tried stabbing it with a sharp branch.
Nothing.
He even tried using Chidori again—only for the system to remind him that Chidori is not a kitchen knife.
After what felt like an eternity of suffering, he finally managed to get to the meat.
An hour later, Jayden sat by a small fire, chewing on roasted boar meat.
"Not bad," he muttered between bites. "But still nowhere near as good as fried chicken…"
Once he was full, Jayden pulled up the system menu.
"Time to see what I can buy with 100 SP."
A glowing menu appeared.

Then, the image of the black-and-red God of Chaos surfaced in his mind.
"Yeah. It was definitely him," Jayden grumbled.
Sighing in defeat, he backed out and checked the Weapon Shop instead.

Jayden still had 50 SP left, so he checked the Clothing Shop.
At first, the prices made his soul shatter.

Intrigued, he selected the custom creation option and designed a black leather jacket and matching pants.
The system processed his request, and in seconds, the new outfit materialized on his body.

Jayden smirked.
"Not bad. I actually look like a proper anime protagonist now."
With a full stomach, some new gear, and a slightly less trash arsenal of abilities, Jayden stretched his arms.
"Alright. Time to figure out where the hell I am." He said standing up.
