Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

Hearing the voice, Ethan looks up with some surprise. The person walking into the shop is indeed William.

The look on Marcus's face has a momentary freeze; Ethan notices that the hand he's wearing the ring has subconsciously inserted/stuck into his trouser pocket, smiles, and says with William, 'Long time no see, what brings you here?'

'Came to the branch for a meeting.'William walks up, eyeing the ring on Ethan's ring finger with a fleeting surprise in his eyes.

'Oh, why didn't you call me when you arrived?'Ethan smiled ambiguously; he had even deleted the other party's phone number.

William was slightly embarrassed. 'I just arrived at noon. I was in a hurry, and I had to go back in the morning.'

He hesitated and still asked, 'Ethan are you getting married?'

Ethan saw him notice the ring on his hand and was about to open his mouth when he glanced at Marcus, who was blushing more and more, and smiled, saying, 'Yeah, engaged, and about to get married.'

  'You guys...'

William's puzzled gaze turned to Marcus, who was full of coldness, and Ethan said, 'I asked Marcus to come and pick out a ring for me as a reference.'

William smiled and felt more and more strange. As far as he knew, Ethan and Marcus, although they had known each other briefly, should have never been familiar with each other. How come Ethan got married and asked Marcus to go and help him pick a ring? Ethan suddenly opened his mouth and asked him, 'I heard that you got promoted, and you're now the general manager of Qin's?'

Ethan's eyes had a few teasing intentions; William froze momentarily. It seemed that he did not expect him to use this kind of attitude towards himself, just thinking about what to say. Marcus, who had been silent all along, rushed to Ethan and said, 'Let's go.'

Ethan nodded and left a sentence with William: 'We'll go back first; let's meet again later.' Marcus and Ethan went out of the door side by side.

Before leaving, Ethan suddenly turned his head again and said to William, who was a bit dumbfounded behind him, 'Sitong is very simple, no matter what the reason is since you married her, treat her well.'

The look on William's face changed from stunned to dismayed in an instant.

After getting into the car and noticing that Marcus's overly long and somewhat naturally curly frontal hair was all wet from the rain and drooped listlessly in front of his forehead, helplessly, Ethan handed him the car's pull-out paper, met his slightly confused eyes, and said in amusement, 'Wipe it off, your hair's all wet.'

Marcus didn't take it but took out his handkerchief, which looked like a designer item. Ethan tsked. He's indeed a noble son, but the stink of preaching is more than others.

After the car started, no one spoke again because the rain and fog were too big. Ethan drove the car very slowly. He could feel Marcus beside him because he saw an unexpected person whose mood seemed even lower, and he couldn't tell. Seeing William with a look of suspicion about why he and Marcus would be together, he felt amused.

He should have found out long ago when they returned from the UK. He asked William if he wanted to enter the Lyson, but William chose Qins. Qin's is to do real estate development, headquartered in the city of X, initially William into the S city branch only, from the ordinary business department staff to start, there are he and Marcus to provide him with a variety of contacts and resources, especially him, Lyson and Qin's has a cooperative relationship, Qin Sitong's mother is his aunt, under his help, William in Qin's can be described as smooth sailing, within a few years will be transferred to the head office of the X city, as a department manager, and after that is to know the study abroad return Qin Sitong, and then less than half a year flash marriage.

Before that, when William and Qin Sitong didn't know each other, he had already asked him several times in a roundabout way about his cousin Qin, the Qin family's eldest daughter, but at that time, Ethan was not alerted. Now, when he thinks about it again, he is afraid that from the very beginning, William is playing the idea of Qin Sitong and that he or Marcus is just a stepping stone for him to climb the ladder of fame and success. Ethan thinks that if he were a woman, William would have accepted him as early as six years ago, but it's a pity that he's not a straight man.

For the sake of interests and the future, a straight man can endure the disgust to tolerate their pursuit and ambiguity for so many years; this kind of spirit is admirable.

The car stopped under the apartment building where Marcus lived. Before pushing the door to get out of the vehicle, Marcus suddenly turned and asked Ethan: 'Do you want to go up for tea?'

Ethan would have thought this was another kind of invitation if he were a different person, but Marcus's expression was too serious, I should say expressionless. Ethan's fingers tapped on the steering wheel in front of him, and he looked at the rain pouring down outside the car glass; in such an atmosphere, he really couldn't imagine what he could say to Marcus when he followed him up there, saying that it was two men who had fallen in love with the same person. He couldn't imagine what he could say to Marcus if he followed him up there, saying that two men who had fallen for the same person were consoling each other.

But he did wonder now how Marcus could have suddenly invited him upstairs on such a whim, presumably out of boredom.

Pulling into the flat's underground car park before entering the lift, Marcus turned to Ethan behind him and asked him, 'Do you know what I mean by keeping you down?'

Ethan grinned and reached between them, saying, 'Well, at least you just proposed to me, so it's not unusual for me to stay down to bond.'

'There's no need for that,' Marcus said,' Our marriage is for show; there's no need to liaise.'

  '...'Young Master, you don't give a d*mn about-face.

  'Want to do it?'

  '...!'

Ethan froze for three seconds before reacting to the meaning, for the first time, really back to the taste, probably Marcus, this guy is different from him, proposing marriage is so, dating is also so, what you want to say directly, do not have to beat around the bush that set of things, probably this is the so-called straight nature of the gweilo?

'Do you want it?'Marcus asked him again.

Ethan wanted to refuse, but the words came out of his mouth. Then he changed his mind, and the corners of his lips rose: 'Sure.'

Marcus lifted his foot and headed out the door. Ethan chased after him, 'Hey, where are you going?'

  'Convenience shop.'

At the convenience store across the street from the apartment building, Marcus blithely took the Ky and condom to pay. Ethan stood in front of the shop, watched his movements, listened to the sound of falling rain in his ears, and suddenly had the illusion that they were cheating on each other, but in reality, they were about to get married.

Marcus's flat was small, with two rooms, one bedroom, and one study. It was spotless and in pure, cool colors. Walking in was as unpopular as it got. Ethan looked around and asked Marcus, 'You rent this?'

  'Bought it.'

Marcus didn't even talk to him or ask him if he wanted a drink of water. He took his clothes and was ready to go to the bathroom to take a shower. Ethan followed him, propped up the bathroom door with one hand, raised his eyebrows, and looked at him. The smile in his eyes took on a few points of ambiguity: 'Want to join me?'

Marcus ignored him, raised his jaw, and signaled him to get out of the way. Ethan could only helplessly let go of his hand, and the bathroom door closed before him.

Twenty minutes later, after his shower, Marcus glanced at the man lying on the sofa, who was bored with the TV remote control, and said, 'You take a shower.'

Ethan thought Marcus had some cleanliness fetish. They do not shower, and it is not on his bed, so he is dehydrated. He also winked at Marcus and went to the bathroom.

By the time he hummed, scrubbed his hair, and came out, Marcus was already sitting against the bed with his laptop in his arms, his upper body still naked. Ethan smiled and walked up to sit down on the edge of the bed. Marcus also rested his laptop on the nightstand to one side and raised his eyes to look at him.

'I said, you called me here because you saw William today?'

Looking into Ethan's smirking eyes, Marcus looked cold. 'What's he got to do with it? He just got excited.'

The dimly lit bedroom only had a not-so-bright bedside lamp on. Ethan's eyes shifted down and landed on his parted lips. Hesitating and adjusting his angle to move closer, Marcus imperceptibly pulled back a bit, 'No need.'

Ethan smiled, thinking they were still trying to vent even if they slept together. They didn't need to do this kind of thing of exchanging saliva that only lovers would do, but the scene that flashed through his mind for a split second of that day in that small bar in London, where the drunken and delirious Marcus and himself kissed until their bodies almost burned, more or less felt a bit regretful. So he sidled down his head and took a bite on his neck.

Marcus grunted softly but didn't push him away. They nibbled up on each other just as he did, relentlessly teasing the other. As Ethan's hand reached behind him, Marcus suddenly snapped his wrist, looking at him warily. 'Let me.'

  Ethan raised an eyebrow, 'Why?'

'You're too skilled.'Thinking about the last time he got himself torn up in that place and smeared with ointment for days, Marcus had no hope for his skill, not to mention, if it had been William who was the target, maybe Ethan would have been patient and gentle, in his place, he was afraid it would have been a complete physical fight.

But this remark made Ethan, oversized young master dissatisfied, directly pressed the person down, one leg forcefully stuck into between his legs, clasped his two wrists, his voice took on the hoarseness of love/lust:'You're no better, don't worry, I'll make you feel good.'

Sven nobleman versus barbarian, Marcus still lost. Finally, he is pressed and entered from behind. The pain is at least better than the last time he was drunk and didn't know anything, and Ethan did keep his promise. After the pain at the beginning, it made him feel good.

Before tangling together for release, the freshly purchased rings on their clasped hands touching one another, Ethan nibbled on Marcus's ear, compelling him in a mute voice, 'Be married to me, so stop thinking about all those other boring people, huh?'

Marcus nodded with his eyes closed, finally letting it out entirely in his hands.
