Nathan's POV
"Hell no… I won't do it!" I spat in anger. I can't imagine myself being with these old women—women old enough to mother me.
Anita frowned as she glared at me, then turned to the two guards at the door. "Tear off his clothes."
I growled as the guards stepped forward, their hands already reaching for me. Panic surged through my veins.
I jerked back, trying to fight them off, but my body was already weak from the long journey, from the lack of food, from him. The moment their hands grabbed at my shirt, I swung my fist, hitting one of them in the jaw. He stumbled, cursing, but the second guard was quicker, slamming his fist into my stomach.
The impact knocked the wind out of me, sending me to my knees. Pain exploded in my ribs, but I refused to cry out.
"Enough," Anita's voice rang through the room, sharp and commanding, ordering them not to hit me anymore.
