"Where is your wife?" Caius who sat opposite Malakai inside the private lounge in his hotel asked.
Malakai cocked a brow at him. "That is not a business of yours."
"Well, I'd expect her to come with you. You like taking her everywhere."
"She doesn't feel good. Not since last night."
"And what is that supposed to mean?" Caius asked, tilting his head curiously.
"I wouldn't call it weird because I didn't mind, but she was being a bit different last night. Chaotic, I don't know if that's the right word." Malakai shifted closer to him.
The man furrowed his brows. "I cannot understand what you're trying to tell me, brother, if you are not specific."
Malakai proceeded to clarify, "She woke up randomly last night and began crying. I asked what the problem was, but she didn't even know why she was crying. Then her mood suddenly switched. She was happy, she wanted me to hug her, and she wanted to watch the sky. Those were anything but Eve, you've met her."
