Chapter 24 - Difference Between Guilds!

Yone literally ignored the player who just asked the questions as he turned his head looking at potential clients and calling out some people here and there to check on his goods.

Seeing this scene, the player called Tiger fumed and veins bulged on his forehead with eyes bloodshot as he roared," I said who gave you permission to set up your stall here?! Answer or forget ever leveling up again!"

'Here we go, these players always exist no matter the game stage I guess,' Yone mused as he looked at the clown in front of him trying to intimidate him but gave him no heed and kept on looking for potential buyers.

A lot of players gathered after hearing someone roaring and flocked to the scene, eager to watch a good show to lift their mood.

"Hmm? Isn't that Tiger one of the three brothers inside the Beast's Party? Does anyone dare to go against him?" One of the onlookers immediately recognized the player roaring as he commented.

"Indeed, seems like some players don't know what is good for them and think the village administration is the only thing they need to set up a stall here, they forgot that after stepping out of the town's gate you become an easy target for these guys," One sighed from behind, feeling pity for the player that is being bullied.

"No, wait..." Suddenly, one of the onlookers seemed to recall something as he looked at the level ranking board, his mouth wide open and eyes gulping," How did I fail to notice his level 5 right next to his character name?"

Feeling that he had hit the jackpot, he immediately squeezed through the crowd and whispered in Tiger's ears," Big brother Tiger, look at his name and level. "Did you forget that no one had reached such a level yet except for that one person?"

'Ohh, took you so long to notice that,' Yone chuckled as he saw the expression of Tiger changing from madness to a warm smile after one player whispered something in his ears.

It's not because he feared Yone, but mainly because the various guilds had openly showcased their interest in recruiting him. If such an event happened, threatening the player who would be recruited would be like threatening them.

At least for solo players and weak guilds, as for stronger ones and more famous? Yone will have no say in this matter.

"Fuck off Tiger,"

Tiger was about to ask for the price and not play such games with Requiem when he heard a cold voice entering his ears into a group of three people with one woman in the lead wearing a red robe that casually pushed him aside and stood in front of Yone's stall. With each step they took, all the players on their way stepped back and gave them space.

"Holy, aren't those three members of the Iron Fang guild? They're ranked 97th on End World." A player recognized the three people heading towards the stall and uttered with disbelief, finding it hard to see such high-profile players interested in those who sold useless items in the stall.

"That's truly Selina, one of Iron Fang's vice guild leaders and the daughter of the multi-billionaire who is in control of the makeup industry and has shares in the Legends guild," A player immediately recognized the stunning beauty on the lead as he said with a low voice, his breath quickening.

As Yone finally arranged his items he placed a small sign on each of them describing their rank, stats, and passive if they have.

The first player soon visited him, or more like three.

"You are selling 40% lower than the market price, is there a reason for that?" Selina asked, curious about the uncommon items in front of her, enough that even the two men behind her raised their eyebrows in disbelief.

'I only have one uncommon item so far yet this guy is selling three of those,' Selina was about to ask one more thing when a man behind her whispered something in her ears.

"Vice guild leader, I know you don't look at a player's name cause of how many players you meet but that's Requiem, the current highest leveled player, and he even just reached level 5, leaving the others behind on dust as the second one in the ranking is only at half the EXP bar of level 2."

Realization dawned on Selina as she heard his words,' No wonder he has such items, the drop rate of uncommon gear is only meant to increase the stronger monsters we fight. I can't let him go.'

"If you are hinting for anything you can take your illusions and find another stall to buy items from, those items are uncommon and when you decide to trade in order to buy you will see for yourself," Yone said with a smile but was inwardly displeased with the way this woman worded her sentence.

Selina was taken aback by his reply and didn't expect the player called Requiem to outright treat her this way, but she still maintained her composure and said, 'I'll take all three of those items. Calculate the total for me."

"That will be 5 silver madam," Yone said.

"That's too much, can you go any lower? This poor lady here only has 80 copper coins," Selina smirked, while the two men behind her stealthily took out their weapons.

"It won't do, it won't do...no lowering the price no matter what," Yone was firm in his words and started losing interest in these potential customers.

"You're clearly talented. If you lower the price, I might even introduce you to the guild master." Selina didn't immediately give up and invited Requiem to her guild.

But Yone outright refused, clearly not interested.

'Trouble isn't it?' Yone could smell trouble and swiftly threw a pebble at one of the guards of the fountain hall gate a few meters away from him, his speed was so fast that no one noticed his actions.

"That's very unfortunate, but hey it's no problem. What about this deal then, leave all items here and you can keep your rank first on the level leaderboard, how about that?" Selina was all smiles as she said those words.

Madness!

Hiss!

The dozens of players around the stall watching the show from Tiger till now went silent right after Selina uttered these words, it was as if the announcement the various guilds made including Iron Fang was merely a joke to her.

"Is this the confidence of the top 100 guilds? Not even the current highest-level player can enter their eyes?" One of the players was dumbfounded as he heard the conversation, his mind failing to understand how is this any different than outright bullying.

Subsequently, the onlooker's shock intensified tenfold after Yone's next words, making them question where this solo player got his confidence.
