Chapter 8 - -six-

Being in school was not as thrilling as the mission that Germogen provided to her, but thrilled enough to make her get off the bed, feeling cute when she put on the uniform. Seeing her best friend that she didn't have to fake herself to be with. Having the first crush, seeing him and trying to please him in some way, like a normal fifteen-year-old, trying to figure out what she likes and dislikes, how to have and achieve a young girl's dream at this age as a teenage high school girl.

Killa might seem to be deeply dive in this life, trying to grasp whatever gave it to her since she wasn't afraid to anything. But now it seemed she started to have something to fear—not to finish her life in this universe line. She felt like it was just a beginning for her if this life was taken from her she must feel something as if vein was cut off unexpectedly and it would be hard for her to stitch it back.

Even though she lived her double life, she was fine with feeling tired because it didn't bear her at all, so to speak; she tried her best to hang on and approach everything delicately and carefully.

She started to know herself authentically, but she was just fifteen; she might have explored something inside her bones, heart, mind, or even soul.

"Maki, can you go to class first?" Killa asked,

"Where are you going?" Maki asked back,

"I need to shit." She said with a steady face,

These past months, Killa had grown to express herself more with Maki and seemed to be the only person in school or even her life. Maki was also the only one who could see Killa's naive, innocent, and lovely side, which no one else could.

Maki was a bit shocked and nodded to her. 'Sometimes she's too straight,' Maki thought.

Killa strolled into the hallway. Before turning to the bathroom, she heard something that got her ears' attention. She peeked to see what happened. Then, she noticed the pinkish hair color then she knew it was Daiki Senpai. He was in trouble with some, and she wondered why a guy like Daiki, who didn't like violence at all, turned to face it more than other students in school.

"Is it true?"

"You're gonna bang every girl in this school, hah?"

"New girl, too?!"

'Are they upset because of Killa?' Daiki thought.

"She's new, and you're just gonna take her by yourself?"

"What are you talking about?" Daiki asked,

"Oh, so you can talk? New girl...I want her. So, back off!!"

"Don't be so innocent. Everyone saw you together that day."

'Everyone? So that means Killa maybe...she could be the target of other girls, too. Even worse...them,' Daiki thought, and he was mad and looked up to stare at them.

"Don't look at me dickhead!!" Then that guy was going to punch him

Killa quickly stepped up and punched that guy. After standing behind the wall, she tried to calm herself so as not to barge at this time. But how could she stand there and listen? They talked shit about her crush.

"Killa!!" Daiki shouted.

That guy turned his face to see the one who hit him and was shocked to see Killa, a girl who he mentioned to. Killa was about to take another fist at him, and then Daiki grabbed her wrist.

"Killa, stop," Daiki told her, and she released her fist. Then he pulled her to get up and stand beside him.

"I'm sorry, Senpai," Killa said,

"You shouldn't be here." He said,

"He's going to punch you," she said,

They were watching and stunned by what had happened and the scene before them.

"You...you punched me because of him." That guy seemed to be the leader.

"Senpai won't hit you, no matter how bad your words come out of your mouth...so I did for him," Killa said her mind with upsetting eyes. Daiki watched her so, as did everybody there. "I'm sorry, Senpai. I know that you don't like violence." Killa looked up to face Daiki's face

Daiki was surprised to see her expression. Her pretty white and soft purple eyes were struggling. That guy witnessed them and felt more upset. Her eyes were so pretty, but they were looking like Daiki.

'She's not afraid of them but afraid of my feelings?' Daiki thought.

"And you, if you have anything with him...about me...come to me in person," Killa said,

Both of them were shocked. She sighed lightly, trying to calm her anger. "Please," Killa said, the word that made everything softer.

"Sure," That guy said, and his face looked more relaxed and nervous.

'Seriously?' Daiki looked at the guy in front of him.

"Then I'll go," she said,

"I'll take her," Daiki said to them and turned to look at Killa before they got to her first.

Daiki grabbed her wrist and dragged her away. He was mad and upset about what happened, not because of Killa's punching someone but every action that she had done. It was like she gave herself to that guy to protect him.

"I'm sorry...it's because of me," she said,

"No...even if it isn't about you, they're gonna find another reason to hit me anyway." he said, "You shouldn't throw yourself like that."

"I'm sorry. I don't want them to bother you again," she said,

He sighed so hard. "Aren't you hurt?" he asked,

"No," Killa looked at her hand and said,

'You punched that bastard that hard with this little hand, and it's not hurt?' Daiki thought.

"Who are you, really?" He asked,

Killa turned to face Daiki with a surprised face and bit her lips, 'fuck,' she cursed silently,

"Killa, please don't do that again." He said in a soft voice,

"Okay, I won't punch someone again," she said. ' At least here,' she thought.

He stopped walking. "It's better if you won't be around me," he said. She tilted her head and looked at him with curious eyes. You might get hurt because of me."

"If you talked about rumors. I am not afraid of them, Senpai. I know that there are a lot of people who don't like me hanging around with you. I will be away from your sight when you really want that for yourself." Killa said with a serious face.

He was shocked and halted his breath and old thoughts. 'What am I going to do with you, Killa? ' he thought. "Then, if someone is trying to pick a fight with you, just try to avoid them or come to me," Daiki suggested. She listened. "Don't throw yourself like that."

"Okay," she said,

'She's very submissive...when I say something,' Daiki thought. "Just forget what I said...about not being around with me," he said,

She smiled a little. "Aren't you afraid that people are going to pick a fight with you?" she asked.

"I don't care," he said,

"I'll try my best not to get you in trouble...and I won't do anything that upsets you again, Senpai," she said, smiled at him, and entered the classroom.

'She surely really likes me...that much,' Daiki thought, and his face turned red.

On the way back home, Killa walked home as usual, but this time, she was pretty cheerful because she had been thinking about Daiki senpai.

'Why is he so cute...' Killa thought.

She didn't realize she was walking past the group of guys sitting beside the sidewalk. Some were smoking, some were just chatting, but all of them gazed at Killa while she was walking past them.

"*Phwwwwhht," The guys whistled at her. (*Whistle)

Killa was thinking about a guy she liked, so she showed her ignorance to them. Then, suddenly, she was dragged into the narrow path between two buildings.

"Ah—" Her voice was out automatically while her back was against the wall.

"Hey,"

"Are you ignoring us?"

She tilted her head,

"You're from a rich school, heh?" he said, using his finger to touch her uniform.

"Don't touch," Killa said,

The thing was, when Daiki left her head and her back was against the wall, the life of the teenagers was quite brutal, pretty bruised if they didn't know how to defend themselves or the perfect method to fight back. Even though the uniform was assigned to differentiate it from other citizens. To show that they were children, the young, to tell strangers not to cross the line of law or even the rule of morals. But it seemed that no matter when or where it was rich or poor. They would be treated unexpectedly anywhere, depending on how much bruise they could get; the rich had the rich ways, and the poor had their own how. However, they were all getting through their lives. Mafias or not, they fight for their day by day.

Took Daiki Senpai as the example, along with the cloud head guy and her.

"It'll get dirty," she said,

"Tsk!" victim number one made the sound when he grinning his teeth. "I heard that a rich school full of pretty girls, now I have seen myself. But I've never thought they would be so arrogant like this. Well, you're rich kids, after all."

"You want money?" she asked,

"You think we are gangsters and only steal the money from the rich, do you?" Victim number two said,

Killa assigned the gangster before her as the victim this time because she would never see herself as one.

"Nah...this time it's different...because I've never seen a beautiful like you for so long." Victim number one moved his face closer to her face.

"I promise to a guy I like," she said steadily. "Not to use violence."

"Heh? Then good for you...but your boyfriend seems like a pussy to me." Victim number one shifted his face to see her face and said,

"But I think I'll keep my promise tomorrow," she said,

Then Killa used her hand to grab his neck and pushed him down, "Arrghh!!" Victim number one screamed, and she attacked his knee so hard and pulled his hair to show his face.

"Hey, what are you doing!?" Victim number two shouted to her.

"Teaching your friend a lesson," she said, pushing his face against the wall and dragging him down through the hard-rough concrete.

"Hey! Stop!!"

Victim number three approached her quickly and was about to pull her arm, but then Killa raised her right leg and kicked at his neck, forcing his body to hit the other side of the wall.

"Cough! Cough!" He choked.

"Let me go, bitch!" Victim number one, who was dragged against the wall, shouted at Killa, so she threw him at other victims, and they fell down on the ground.

"Argg!!"

"You!!…."

And then their eyes were slobbering,

Killa rolled her eyes at them. "You guys are watching my underwear?" They nodded, and then Killa raised her leg and pressed victim number two's neck. Killa quickly hit a guy on his face, making his head fall back, hitting the wall and bouncing back, and then he fell down, unconscious.

They were stunned and scared.

Killa walked closer to them and used her hand to pull the victim's number one collar to be closer to her, "Should I take your eyes out?" she asked,

"What!!!! No!" A guy whose half-face was ruined cried.

Then Killa punched that guy's face again, and he fainted.

"Don't you dare follow me again?" Killa said to three of them, but two out of three had slept on the dirty ground, so she glared at the one who still opened his eyes. "Or someone else," she added,

He nodded immediately,

Then, she left them and walked like nothing had happened, but she didn't know that a guy from the same school was walking past that way and noticed her from behind.

'Is that...a new girl?' A white-haired guy, the cloud-head who Killa helped with mangoes that day, noticed Killa walking out of that alley. He walked straight that way. He didn't intend to follow her but was curious about what she was doing in that narrow, dirty alley. Then he took a little peek, and his eyes widened. He saw a bunch of guys getting hurt and unconsciously passed out on the floor. 'Did she do that to them?' He thought, and then, surprisingly, he chuckled. "Ah–" he sounded after someone walked past and hit his shoulder. Someone taller and more masculine, wearing a black suit. A suited guy looked in that alley, glanced at him, and walked the same way as Killa. "What with him?" he mumbled.
